Maura and Donal are very friendly and welcoming. Maura cooked dinner for us when we arrived, drove us around to show us Sligo town, as well as the beach and forest where to walk the dogs. Her spacious house has a beautiful garden and is in a quiet neighborhood, a short driving distance from Sligo. We fell in love with her sweet dogs, Snowy and Tiny, each with a distinctive, loveable personality. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and in the forest with Snowy and Tiny, cuddling with them at home and playing with them in the garden. We recommend dog and house sitting for Maura and her wonderful dogs, who are very easy going and low maintenance.
Carmel and Ned are lovely people who made me feel extremely welcome and at home when we met the evening before their trip, and on their return. Joey was an absolute pleasure to look after, he is independent yet sociable and great company, and would often settle down to be petted and to sleep on my lap. Carmel and Ned's home is in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from a lovely sandy beach, with great coffee shops, restaurants and a small shopping mall right on the doorstep, and the train station only 10 mins walk away with a 25 min journey into central Lisbon. Weather a little chilly in February but the open fire kept me cosy in the evenings. I'd love to return at a warmer time of year to make more use of the lovely balcony and nearby beaches! But this was a good time to explore the lovely Lisbon and surroundings. Thank you Carmel, Ned and of course Joey for the great opportunity!
This little guy will find the way to your heart within seconds. He’s funny, sweet, sometimes a bit naughty but most of all he is the sweetest cuddler you’ll ever meet! Julie cooked me dinner when I came and told me everything I needed to know. We had daily contact and she was always helpful if I had a question. The house is nice, near the central station and with lots of walking possibilities around. I’d love to come back some time!
A fantastic sit! Edel and Conor are generous hosts and great communicators. They have a lovely, clean apartment located right on the river in a fantastic neighborhood. Restaurants, shops, buses, and the ferry are all within walking distance. The riverwalk is beautiful, and one of Wilson’s favorites to stroll. Wilson is sooo adorable, loves playing with his toys, is a great walker, and very well trained. He sleeps well through the night and doesn’t wake you up early. A fantastic companion and very easy to care for! I highly recommend this sit for anyone who loves adorable dogs!
My sit with Carmen was great! She was so kind and easy to communicate with. Her place is very homey, clean, and has everything you might need. It’s an amazing location near the beach and easily accessible to Athens. Sigyn is a sweetheart and was a great companion. She is easy to care for and instructions about her routine were clear. As mentioned in a previous review, there was some construction going on next door. Carmen talked to me about this ahead of time but the noise didn’t bother me and I still had a fantastic experience!
It was so lovely caring for Cleo! She is such a sweet cat. “Food Game Time” aka throwing pieces of food and having Cleo chase after them was such a fun part of my afternoon that I’ll miss! Merrin was exceptionally communicative and responsive to any questions I had! Her place is in a great location close to the park and a very calming part of NYC. thank you for letting me care for Cleo!
