Jennifer & Jeff
We had a lovely stay at Jennifer and Jeff’s home! We were left with detailed instructions and always felt well resourced, they were always kindly communicative— very quick to respond to any questions :)

Bean and Loki were so cute and loved to sing and chat, the ducks and hens were so entertaining and very easygoing!

The neighborhood was fantastic with friendly neighbors; very calm but close to Alberta so lots to walk to/parks around. The home was very comfortable and great for anyone who likes to cook!

Nancy
An enjoyable weekend in Redwood City taking care of Crouton.

Nancy and I discussed expectations prior to the sit and she made certain to pass along several notes about Crouton's behavior. All of them were true. Crouton is an adorable, energetic, talkative companion. We went for walks on nearby paths and played inside to try to minimize him barking at folks passing by & wear him out while it rained. He was rambunctious throughout day one then dialed his energy level down each following day as we exercised more. Certainly recommend being active throughout the morning to help tire him out by late afternoon.

The complex is nicely located, little to no noise pollution and within walking distance to several places to eat. The marina and channel created a therapeutic view for a couple of days as I enjoyed the pool and hot tub while chatting with a couple of local residents. Their place is nice and has everything you might need for a couple of days. Nancy mentioned their home might not be as tidy as usual ahead of my arrival. We had a very quick meet and greet to handover keys. Plenty of cleaning materials to straighten up a bit and settle in nicely.

We were lovingly looked after by the very happy Corvi and loving Pepa at Chestnut House for a few days. Corvi is such a lovely dog , she’s got a great temperament, loves a dog biscuit, a belly rub and cuddle , also she adores just being in the garden and catching the ball . Even though Lisa warmed us that Corvi snores we loved her sleeping on our bed ( for future sitters this is not a requirement, she will sleep anywhere in the house!) Pepa is a chatty cat, loves a cat treat and a belly rub ,she’s got a wonderful personality. We fell in love with them both! We will leave it up to Lisa to tell you about the history of the beautiful house , which she clearly loves, and the amazing chestnut tree in the garden. We didn’t get the opportunity to get to chat too much to her husband but hopefully next time .

It was such a great time to spend with Doris and Dave! They’re the sweetest cats we ever met. Most of the time they just sat by our side when we were working or watching tv. Sometimes Doris came to us when we were in the kitchen, meowed in her soft voice and laid down on her back right under our feet to ask for cuddling. They love to have walks in the corridor with us every evening, which is so cool to walk 2 cats.
The apartment is also very nice to stay, the comfy balcony is a good place to enjoy winter sunshine and the chill evenings. The community parks are perfect for a walk.
Thanks Laura and Jason for having us for such a good sitting experience. We already miss Doris and Dave!

Linda
Pet sitting for Linda was an absolute pleasure. Taking care of Carli, her affectionate dog, and her seven sociable chickens was a delightful experience. Linda's property and guesthouse provided a tranquil setting, perfect for a relaxing stay. Carli, with her gentle nature, craved attention and affection, making her a joy to be around. The chickens, incredibly social creatures, added a charming dynamic to the stay, happily trailing along with us as we explored the surroundings. Linda's thoughtful gesture of sharing videos beforehand helped us prepare for the sit and ensured a seamless transition. Overall, the pet sitting experience was nothing short of perfect, thanks to Linda's hospitality and the wonderful animals in her care.
