Chrissie and Mike are a lovely couple who responded quickly when any important issues arose. Their beautiful finca is close to a small village with a few bars, restaurants, a grocery shop and just a five-minute walk from the Guadiaro river where we swam during the summer and autumn. We thoroughly enjoyed our six and half months stay and can highly recommend it to other house-sitters wanting to enjoy a beautiful part of Andalucia, close to a picturesque national park and the famous white villages of Gaucin, Casares, and Ronda.
Everything was just perfect! Simon and Lana are so friendly and nice, the house is genuinely lovely, and the cats are the best! The sweetest cats I ever met😍 The neighborhood was also really nice! Many parks and restaurants are close to the house. Grocery stores are also within walking distance, so there was no problem to live there. It was an amazing two weeks!
Joan and Alan are lovely people who absolutely spoil all the animals around them. They picked me up from and dropped me off at the airport - Stansted is the closest one to their house. They also treated me to an excellent dinner at a local restaurant before they left for their trip to Corfu. Their two cats, Cooper and Cleo, are easy to care for. Cooper is pretty friendly right away while Cleo takes more time to warm up to new people. By the end of my stay both were seeking my lap for attention. Additionally, I got to care for their beautiful garden and all of its inhabitants - birds, squirrels, and even a family of foxes! The human neighbors are friendly, too. I had an enjoyable time during my stay in Harpenden and am interested in returning. Thanks Joan and Alan!
Melanie and Stephen are wonderful hosts, and I could tell they wanted me to have an enjoyable sit. Their Doggos Thomas and Croix are complete sweethearts as well. They are very well behaved and are just plain fun to be around. Thomas will literally play fetch for hours!
From start to end, this was a wonderful pet sit. Pina is such an adorable ball of cuteness. She has a big personality and loves chasing her treats and snuggling whenever possible. She was an absolute delight and I'm already missing her. Christin and Ruben are so kind and thoughtful and were so easy to communicate with both before and during the sit. They provided the most detailed house guide I've seen which made everything so much easier. And the location is wonderful. A grocery store right across the street and easy access to multiple bus lines that take you around the area, Ballard, U-District and downtown Seattle. Also, it's a short walk to both Greenlake and Carkeek Parks. I would happily do this sit again.
I only looked after Happy and Billie for the one night, but it was an absolute delight and I would certainly sit for them again! Such sweet dogs and Christine’s handover was really clear. I had everything I needed for a lovely sitting stay!
