THE BEST pet sitters - I wish we could give more than 5 stars. We had Sonya and Paul look after our 2 fur babies and our flat for a week in October. They are SUPER organised with sharing information prior to the sitting, and they came over for a visit to meet the pets and get any additional information a few days before the sit. The pets took to them immediately and it was obvious they would love them. During the stay Sonya and Paul had excellent communication, with loads of videos and pictures of our pets looking more than happy! Flat was left in immaculate condition. Would definitely recommend

I had the best time taking care of Sia and Aragon! Two kitties with lovely personalities: Sia, who has learned from a human baby how to cry to get what she wants! And Aragon, a soft-spoken, gentle, but quietly mischievous brother! Verena and Soenke were excellent communicators, which worked well to help us through last minute glitches in flight plans. They were very considerate and sweet. They have a lovely home in a cute town, where you will enjoy exploring the downtown area and the nearby park. Trails and hikes are not far away in the Santa Cruz mountains. I cannot recommend this sit enough! If you have the opportunity, go!
This is one of those sits that we just wanted more time! Kelley and Alex took a quick trip and We were fortunate enough to get to stay in their beautiful home. Brownie is SO affectionate, and the kitties were so easy to please. We hope to go back and explore the area and get some Brownie love. Seriously, who doesn't LOVE Brownies! Thanks for choosing us! :)
Every now and then, I come across postings that have the hallmarks of a great sit. Charlotte & Herbie’s sit was one of those rare gems sitters look out for but rarely come across. I was lucky and fortunate to get picked. Charlotte & Herbie are fabulous and exceptional hosts, very welcoming, kind, generous, thoughtful and extremely organised. It made a world of difference to have access to all the information related to the house, immediate neighbourhood and nearby places to visit and of course all things related to the fur babies.. This is over and above the comprehensive detailed Welcome Guide. Charlotte has with it maps, brochures and links. As a sitter, I was able to settle in immediately saving invaluable time and effort second guessing my way around. The personal orientation, of the high street, , bus and tram stop locations, , eateries were all extremely useful making the sit seamless from start to finish. I was blown away by the methodical approach and wish all my sits would be the same. Charlotte personally picked me up from the train station when I arrived and they both dropped me off at the end of the sit as well. I was nursing an ear infection and Charlotte made a prudent decision to have it checked and waited with me all that time. There are no words to adequately express my profound appreciation for her kindness and concern. Over and above. Herbie had already left when I arrived but on on their return, tired as they were, , they hosted dinner on my last night, where we got to know each other better and I hope cemented a lifelong friendship beyond the formalities of the sit. I had a similar experience only 3 other times. This sit truly lives up to the THS platform of bringing like minded people together. It is the essence of what the THS platform is all about. Both Charlotte & Herbie have a wonderful sense of humour, a genuine love of nature, gardening and animals and compassion for the underdog. Charlotte is hilarious when she makes fun of her fur babies. Speaking of which, like parents like fur babies. I swear it’s as if all 3 must have their DNA – impeccable manners and well behaved. . Ben, Ivory and Buster were absolutely a breeze and a joy to care for. All 3 kitties have different personalities but all 3 are gorgeous and affectionate. I thoroughly enjoyed their company throughout the sit and couldn’t ask for more. I wanted the gardening experience and I certainly got that - until their sit, I’ve only seen artichokes, courgettes, lettuce, cabbages, potatoes, cherries, all sorts of berries on supermarket shelves. It was such a joy to see how they grow, pick what I wanted. Nothing like potatoes straight out of the ground - thank you Herbie. Their home is in a great location not far from the center. It’s a great base to explore Somerset. Thanks to Charlotte & Herbie, I unraveled what the Glastonbury Festival is all about. . A car is essential to explore other worthy gems of Somerset- I’ve done Bath and Bristol multiple times but there’s also Wells, Cheddar, Frome and endless other natural beauty spots. Street itself is self sufficient for your sit needs. Co-op is literally an easy walking distance away. It’s self sufficient in so many respects. An absolute dream for sitters. You will have everything you could possibly want – lovely homeowners and adorable kitties and options galore. Communication was brilliant and prompt throughout , before, during and after the sit. I thoroughly enjoyed this sit and highly recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Charlotte, Herbie, Ben, Ivory & Buster for having me. . It was an honour I thoroughly enjoyed and cherish. Extremely friendly, welcoming and kind couple. A lovely house only an hour away from San Fran on the train! We thoroughly enjoyed our house/pet sit here with their 3 adorable and very friendly cats. We were also lucky enough to meet their doggy too
We had a great time sitting for Sandy, Maileigh, Anais and Nohea. Sandy is a lover and likes to be close by with lots of pats and rubs. We walked with her 2-3 times daily for fun and she was always happy to be out and about. The cats have very distinct personalities! Nohea is playful, Maileigh does her own thing and Anais prefers the outdoors. It was great to be in touch with Janet for questions and peace of mind! The house had more than we needed and a lovely backyard.
