Tom's explanations before we arrived in Jersey were detailed. Tom has been very empathetic to my doubts and with the situations that may arise with a little child, etc. He also left us lots of things to wear and stay comfortable in his house. I hope we have been up to the task keeping the house and his pet’s comfort in the best conditions . Anyway we enjoyed our stay. Lola is a fantastic company, she is crazy for his ball and very playful and nice.
It was a memorable experience! Arlo and Willa are super cute and loving dogs. Both have their own quirks - Willa will surprise you with her "I'm alpha male here" behavior and Arlo has the biggest heart for the smallest dog. Amy is a great communicator and left me in full comfort with loads of day-to-day information, it was super easy to chat when Willa had minor health glitches. The Motor City itself surprised me with how many animals live there! For those of you who appreciate a good swim there's endless amount of pools to choose from to do your laps. I didn't want to leave in the end, wish the sit lasted much longer! :)
We had such a lovely time at Clare’s place. It has such a wonderful energy to it, and the animals are a joy to look after. Very chill. Clare was wonderful to communicate with and was flexible and hospitable after our travel plans changed. The area is great too - we enjoyed feasting on the freshly made falafels we bought from the local shops during our stay! We’d return in a heartbeat! :-)
Friendly welcome from Lizzie & Andy just before they left for the airport. Then,of course, the cutest little Jesse. Bundle of fluff and excitement but totally adorable. She needs her space initially, after all she is only 8 months old, but she quickly becomes your shadow especially if you have her favourite little brown bear or squeaky ball. We felt more comfortable keeping her on the lead as her recall is a work in progress and she can be very easily distracted. Nonetheless she loves her walks and is very inquisitive. Loves saying hello to any passing doggy & isn’t daunted by their size. She’s a great guard dog with her fierce little bark but doubt she’d scare anyone she’s so tiny lol. Playtime is so much fun, throw her squeaky ball or play “catch me” usually followed by a little nap. She sleeps soundly in her crate in your bedroom & her good morning Jesse kisses start your day with a smile. Loves trips out in the car and is fussed over wherever you go. For such a young puppy she is incredibly well behaved & and delight to be with. Hope to see you again soon
I had the best time sitting Vesper in Payal's San Francisco apartment! Payal was very welcoming and made sure that I had all of the information that I needed while I was there, both in terms of taking care of Vesper and during my visit. Vesper is the sweetest dog and is very low-maintenance. I miss him and his sweet cuddles already! He is fully house trained and takes walks in the beautiful park across the street. Payal's place is in a great location (proximity to things in the city, safe, clean, and beautiful neighborhood) and she has a very nice apartment with a doorman and amenities. Highly recommend!
