I recently started working with Kim’s Urban Hounds to help me walk my dog. Having certain medical conditions make it difficult to walk and also up and down stairs. Kim and her staff have been wonderful! They’re friendly, accommodating, understanding, supportive, helpful, and caring. Me and my dog always feel comfortable with them. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Kim’s Urban Hounds did a great job taking care of our senior “pup” while we were away. Our situation was a little unique in that they were able to partner with some of my family who stayed with him to make sure that he had the medical care he needed. They were very flexible and accommodating to what worked best for us. Our elderly dog Carson has mobility issues and struggles to stand on his own, but I received word that he stood up by himself once when Brandon arrived for his daily walk! That was great evidence that Carson really felt comfortable with Brandon, and was happy to see him. Kim’s Urban Hounds has an app that was very convenient. It provided us with one place for our conversations, scheduling calendar, payment info, etc. They also sent daily reports with how his visits went so I knew how his days were going. This gave me peace of mind. If I had a question or concern, Kim or another member of her staff would return my message promptly. I would not hesitate to employ their services again, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing dog sitting or dog walking services. Thank you again for everything, Kim!

I have 2 dogs and the older one just had surgery and is confined for a few months. I wondered what I would do. Reach out to these folks, received a very positive and quick response. Had a meet and great where my younger dog gave Kim kisses. He's excited every time I get him ready for his walk. He's a beagle and barks like crazy when she shows up. Completely happy with this experience and my dog Rollo is too (that's the most important thing). Highly recommend this company, I get instant feed back from the walks with photos and videos!

Wonderful first experience with Kim and her team! Her staff was very sweet with sending great updates and pictures of my cat while I was away. I recently relocated and needed to find a high quality pet sitting service for my cat as a travel often for work. I recently moved and was delighted to find that I am still living in the area serviced by Kim’s Urban Hounds. Their dog walkers have always been great! They are reliable, prompt and love dogs. Last year I tore a hamstring muscle and could barely walk. I called Kim’s and they promptly sent someone to walk my dog Samson and continued to walk him until I recovered. I’m doubly pleased to know that Martin works in my current neighborhood—Samson loves him to death!! I look forward to being able to leave home for a few hours knowing that Samson will have company and get a good walk while I’m away!

Kim and her team of dog walkers have been great caretakers of my dog. They have always been able to handle a last-minute request. They have been mindful of her quirks as well as needs during illness. I appreciate their daily reports and photos. They are true pet lovers!

My wife & I have a beautiful Standard Poodle who is just a year & 1/2. I recently purchased in home camera primarily for security reasons because we live in an apartment. Well! What I did not know was our Poodle was insecure & had major anxiety, crying & whining for hours. We use Kim's Dog Walking Service Monday, Wednesdays & Fridays which the walker is so friendly & we get Report Card after every walk. This was not enough to help with our Poodles anxiety so we adopted an 8 month mixed hound. Wow! Guess what, it worked & Kim's dog walking service would not charge us for the additional new dog we had. Our Poodle had so much fun with our new puppy until our newly adopted dog was struck with a unique pneumonia after having her for just 3 weeks. Our little hound was hospitalized for 4 days with oxygen & was released to us in such poor condition. I could not feed her, she would not open her mouth for me & at the same time my wife was out of town for 4 days. My wife called Kim from Charlotte for consultation & within an hour, Kim is at our apartment taking care of newly adopted puppy. She brought with her food, syringes to help feed & water the dog. I was at work & when I came home my wife told me Kim was going swing by that evening & give me instruction on how to care for my puppy. Guess what! Kim was there & the next morning & evening for 3 straight days providing such loving care. After 3 days on a Sunday morning & my wife still out of town, Kim & I decided we could not save her. Of course it was my decision & Kim even cried helping me carry my newly adopted dog to the car. I have never met such courageous, loving women like Kim besides my wife. Her dog walking service is AMAZING! Her staff does not just walk our dogs but talks with our dog(s) & engages. The report cards are the best. The Great Catsby has been great to work wirh! I moved and then needed a very last minute cat sitter for a business trip. I realized my old cat sitter was out of network, who then recommended The Great Catsby. Callie quickly jumped in to help. Their team is so good with cats! I loved all the pictures I got while I was away and also the comfort of knowing my cat was in good hands. Callie was extremely knowledgeable and asked me great questions to ensure my cat, Pretzel, was well taken care of. I also love the report card! The Great Catsby is the way I can FINALLY enjoy vacations again! My Brownie is asthmatic & uses an inhaler. Callie & her crew come twice a day to check in on her… she gets her inhaler, food, clean litter, & 30 minutes of love, brushing & play at each visit! She rushes to meet them & they let her guide the visit!!! The pictures & reports are fabulous, & Brownie is a happy girl!!!

We met with Callie months ago and she was thorough in gaining details for our cat (habits, eating, etc). After the initial meeting, I felt super confident we were in good hands. We were first time users with the Great Catsby Care and Morgan/Barbara provided detailed reports and great pictures while we were away! It really helped us to be at ease on our vacation knowing our cat was well taken care of by his team! We cannot recommend enough, the Great Catsby Care!

Morgan & Callie took care of our babies while we were on vacation for a week and we looked forward to their updates everyday! We have very anxious kitties and they brought a Feliway defuser to calm them which was very thoughtful. They played with them, gave them treats, served food & fresh water, cleaned the litter box, and took care of any messes. We were so happy with their services that we already booked them for our next trip out of town!

Callie and her entire team are wonderful with our two kittens, and help keep our house running smoothly while we are away. We love getting their adorable updates with photos of daily playtime adventures, and have been so impressed with the attention to detail that each sitter has provided. Highly recommend!

I have been using Callie and her Team with the Great Catsby Care for a little under a year now and half a dozen visits and plenty more planned. I can't say anything but positive things. The truly are cat people and that shows in love and care they provide. I love the app they use to communicate while I'm gone. Updates through pictures and daily feedback. They play and interact with the cats and keep them engaged when they visit. Make sure my home is well cared for and safe and put me at ease every time I have to be away. Before finding Callie, I had been with a previous service who switched sitters and put me in an uncomfortable situation with my pets, I am so grateful for finding Callie and I wish I had from the very beginning. Golden Dog is by far the best boarding experience we have had since moving to the VA/ DC area. We have a high energy dog and an anxious dog and they love it here. It’s also conveniently not far from the airport. JG and his team are so communicative and caring. They send us pictures as well. We moved to DC and still use Golden Dog because of how much our dogs love it.

Golden Dog Hotel is the best boarding place we've found in the area! Our dog has been going here when we travel for nearly two years. In the past, we've had some not-so-great experiences at other facilities in the DMV, but I'm so glad we found this place. Our dog is always so excited to visit, and we get the cutest pictures of her when she's there. I highly recommend Golden Dog Hotel for quality care and great communication!

Our go to place for Max to stay for short (1 day) or long (12 days) boarding. The previous two places we used always seemed to require a vet visit after for stomach or infection issues, not at Golden Dog. Our little guy is always happy and healthy after we pick him up here. As a bonus they're also one of the more affordable options in the area.

I recently boarded my dog at Golden Dog Hotel for two weeks, and I couldn't be happier with their service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure she ate well (my dog is a super picky eater) and was comfortable during her stay. I also received some photo updates, which was a thoughtful touch. When I picked her up, she looked healthy and energetic. The communication for drop-off and pick-up was seamless, making the whole experience stress-free. We have boarded our pup at Golden Dog Hotel 3 separate times now and have been very happy with their service. They have been kind and flexible with us when we had last minute changes in travel plans, they send updates and photos if you ask for them, and our pup is always happy and healthy when we pick him up, which is most important. I love that they only board a few dogs at a time, compared to the bigger boarding facilities in the area. I feel very comfortable sending my dog here and recommend it to everyone.

The Golden Dog Hotel is an excellent pet boarding service! We have been boarding our dog here for over a year now, and our stays having ranged from 1 night to 1 week, and we are always pleased with the care she receives! Whether there are other dogs to play with, or even if she’s alone, the staff make sure that our dog gets the attention she needs! The fenced in yard is wonderful, and the artificial grass is perfect! Overall an excellent pet boarding facility, which is accommodating to last minute requests even, on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, that provides great care and fun for your pet!

I have used the service of the Golden Dog Hotel since 2021. My dog Charley is happy when he goes to the hotel and just as happy when he returned home. I have found that this kennel is the right fix for my dog and would highly recommend their service,

Fantastic! Golden Dog Hotel is our go to place for our goldendoodle to stay. Family owned—which means they treat our pup like family. Our dog has stayed here multiple times and they are extremely flexible with drop off/pick up times, administered medicine when needed, send pictures and updates. If you want a safe, caring place to leave your fur baby, this is it!

Simply the best dog care in the area! We have tried several places until I found Golden Dog, now we trust them with our beloved dog every time we need to go away. Erika and team are great in taking care of our super crazy pup. They love dogs and you can tell, they really care about them. Your pup will not only be safe and happy, but will play with other dogs, have fun and get exercise, and get meds or special care if needed. We receive photos and updates almost daily, and communication is great. You are in good hands with the team at Golden Dog.

Erika and her husband are great! I love taking my dog here. It’s affordable and he actually likes going! Last time I dropped him off he forgot about me and RAN to her. It was hysterical and it made me happy knowing that he feels comfortable! Great place to take your pups. She also sends pics and I love that added touch. I’ve used their services about 6 times now. Overall great experience.

please stay away from this place if you care about your dog. We left our dog for overnight boarding couple of weeks ago here. apparently another dog attacked our dog. The manager called me after the incident and told me when the dogs were playing “a dog’s teeth got caught up” on our dog. We were told they then took him to a veterinary hospital nearby. The whole day I’m thinking it’s a small bike mark of some sort. When I went to the veterinary clinic to pick him up, I was shocked to see half of our dogs leg was ripped apart. I am extremely upset about how they tried to downplay this incident and shared no other information regarding if they had staff watching the dogs, and why no one was able to pull them apart to prevent such a big injury, how it happen, etc. after multiple emails and phone calls. They did pay for the operation, naturally but the whole thing probably could have been prevented. I will never know the facts.!

Jenn and the entire staff at APC are wonderful! Jenn tailors training sessions for our two Schnoodles, and she follows up with a detailed summary, excellent advice and tips. We're already noticing a difference in our two, and we're so grateful to Jenn. Watson and Dottie are happy to go to daycare, which I never expected!

Had to re schedule my grooming appointment once and that was totally fine and understandable, apparently there’s been some nationwide Canine bronchitis that is going on across the United State and APC sent me the urgent message so us customers can be aware! But Stacey gave my puppy a cute haircut look before Christmas and she did an excellent job! Shout out to all of the APC staff for keeping our puppies healthy and Safe! Stanley and I love you guys!🥰🐶P.S. It is not there fault for getting other dogs sick

I go here mainly to have my dogs' nails cut, as I can't do them at home. Stephanie has the magic touch -- she's always been able to trim their nails, even the super-squirmy pups!

We took our dog to the groomer, but they have other services as well. Cut and wash were ok. Scheduling process is very poor. After waiting a month for the appointment, two days before we get a call and the appointment is cancelled and rescheduled for almost a month later. Three days before that appointment, another call to cancel and reschedule again. No effort to apologize or somehow make up for the inconvenience. Employees are ok and seem to like dogs but not exactly friendly toward humans.

Soooo…let’s start from the beginning. 1.Boarded our pup for a few days due to being out of town. When asking about a transport multiple times because our flight wasn’t going to get in until right before pick up hours, they not one single time, reached out to us about whether or not our pup was going to a transport (we asked multiple times) They kept insisting that she stays for one more night. (1st red flag…) 2. When leaving our pup for day care so they could get acclimated, we asked for a report card. We went to see how our girl is doing and if she is making friends. There are no cameras at affectionate pet care like there are at dogtopia. However, there is a SUPER cute window through the gate. She did three days of daycare and not once received a report card on how she was doing. (2nd red flag) 3. When our pup did get back from boarding, she received a report card. TWO days were documented where she did NOT eat. She gets dinner and she did not eat for TWO nights. No phone call, no email, no text message. How can you let a dog go two days without eating food??? (3rd flag.) 4. Our dog ended up with Kennel cough. They have been sick and coughing (sounds like a horn) for the past few days. They are lethargic and we have been having to feed her chicken and rice. (4th red flag.) We Took our pup to the vet once to her primary vet and then to an emergency vet at the discretion of our primary vet, she was the ADMITTED to the hospital for pneumonia in her right lung. I have talked to the owner, Amy, who said she would NOT be informing pet parents that dogs have contracted kennel cough at her facility. She kept wanting the information out our vet and the hospital she was at to try to meddle in the middle. She has done ENOUGH damage to our poor girl. I HIGHLY suggest you read the reviews that have left dogs injured and sick along with the reviews of previous employees. Not only are the dogs getting sick and injured, employees have also expressed discontent with the “facility procedures.” All in all, our experience with Affectionate Pet Care was NOT good. Lack of communication, understanding, and openness was disappointing. If you truly care about the help and well being of your dog, please do NOT go here.

We love affectionate pet care. They take great care of our dog when boarding. The staff is excellent and truly care for the pets.

My dog Lilly has been going to Affectionate Pet Care since she was 4 months. She loves it there. We do daycare several times a week and have done boarding and grooming. I have been satisfied with each. When your dog can't wait to run in the door, you know they must be doing something right! Only complaint--I wish I could see the dogs playing. Either photos (when boarding), viewing area or live video feed. You can get reports on your dogs day that tell you who they played with, but you don't know the type of dog.

I was told right from the start that "A tired dog is a good dog". All puppy owners should keep that in mind. My puppy Pippa has loved everyday she has spent at APC, from her first day (she was asleep within 2 minutes of getting in the car) to her last. She is the most well adjusted, socialized goofball puppy because of your establishment. For me personally, I can't say enough about the staff. They love their job and it shows in their efficiency and the way they love and care for our puppies. When your dog is excited every time you pull on Pickett St and can't wait to get in the building, you know that they are being well cared for while you are at work or on vacation. I'm by no means a "helicopter (dog) mom" even more so when Pippa has been in the care of APC - I always knew she was in good hands. So thank you all for helping raise the well-rounded goofy puppy Pippa Petals Pittman. We both give y'all 10 stars (or biscuits) out of 5!

Our dogs love going to APC. They enjoy daycare, boarding, and grooming all in one location. They are so happy to see all the staff and their furry friends! They come home tired… in a good way. The staff is caring, professional, always helpful with any concerns. Cullen, Charlotte, and the front desk staff are amazing. We are very grateful to have found such an amazing place for our furries.

Bark and Roll is the BEST daycare ever! Roger and Lisa care for the dogs like their own. Great service, great baths, nail trimming, and boarding! Cashel loves the days she gets to play with her friends!!

Its the go to business that treats your dogs well. I have no problem with the service here and I think the staff are super friendly. More importantly, the doggies loved it.

I have used the services of Bark and Roll several times already. I have a reactive dog that has not acted up while staying at Bark and Roll. I can enjoy my vacations knowing that my dog is safe and is looked after very well. I never received unexpected calls while I am on vacation. Whenever I pick up my dog, he has been bathed before I pick him up. The staff is competent at what they do. I highly recommended Bark 'n' Roll! They have a wonderful staff watching after our dogs.

We boarded our dogs at Bark and Roll last summer for graduation and had a great experience! My dogs are pretty anxious around strangers but they had a good time with the other dogs and were in good spirits when I picked them up! The staff was friendly and there was always someone inside the room with all the dogs. The facility itself is large, bright, open, and clean! There's also a fenced in area on the side of the building where the dogs are let out to use the bathroom. Can't recommend Bark & Roll enough!

We just had our dog board here and asked to get her bathed as well. When we picked her up, she had just gotten a bath, but was still dripping water. The owner did tell us she won’t be completely dry by the time we picked her up, but I expected her to be at least somewhat dry, which was not the case. When we showed up, they pulled her out of her kennel and was soaking wet. So if we had showed up later, she would’ve sat in her kennel all wet until she dries up naturally. We’ve used this place several times in the past 1.5yr and this has not happened before. I don’t know if they have a new management, but today’s experience was very disappointing and we will not be taking our dog here again.

I have been bringing my dog here for about 2 years now. The staff is very friendly and caring with my anxious dog and she always comes out happy and tired! Out of all the dog daycare places I've tried, this place is the best value with longer pickup/dropoff hours, cheaper rates, a great grooming service, and someone always at the front desk when I arrive.

We loved Central Barks and our dog did too! Honestly it was like a second home to her and we always had peace of mind when we left her there. The staff is super helpful and friendly and you can see they love all the pets that come there. They remember each and every one, and welcome them with big smiles every time. Lisa and Roger are doing a great job and I can't recommend Central Barks enough!

Best prices and service of the daycares in the area. My dogs always come back stinky but I know they had a good time

I used Bark & Roll for bathing my 80 lb Basset Hound. The site was well setup with room, clean sink, responsive water with hot and cold, shampoo choices and dryer/towels. The Bark & Roll attendees were friendly and conscientious to my requirements while attending to their boarded and grooming dogs. Simple, in and out in 20 minutes.

I just wanted to write about my experience with central barks, we've been taking our dog here for almost a month now. The staff has been so kind and understanding. They continue to go above and beyond with great service and even some special accommodations for my pup and us. Its been a great help. Thanks central barks!

We have used Paw pals pet sitting on multiple occasions for our bunnies while we are away. Many pet sitters are not interested in small pets however; Mary and her team, are amazing and we trust her implicitly! We are very happy with the outstanding service we have received from her team including texts and photos of our pets when we are out of town. They always go the extra mile and we highly recommend them!

Highly recommend as pet sitters! Initially, a sitter from the company will visit the house to meet the pets and learn where everything is. Tatiana took careful notes and we got her some spare keys. While we are away, Paw Pals sends sitters to come and look after our boys. They feed them, scoop litter, bring in mail and packages, and they will even manage trash, recycling, blinds and lights so that everything is comfortable for our kitties. Each time they check in, we receive an email message with updates and pictures, which is so comforting when we are on the road. Also, if you don’t let Paw Pals know when you are home, they assume something has happened and will continue to care for your babies. If something were to happen, I know they would be okay. Five stars for Paw Pals!

The folks at Paw Pals pet sitting are fantastic to work with. This review includes a bit of a long story but goes to show how dedicated they are to their job and the care they have for the animals they watch over. I reached out to Paw Pals, even though I live outside their service area, in a bit of a panic because our scheduled dog sitter for our family vacation suddenly wasn't available. The local sitters we've used in the past seemed like they wouldn't be able to accommodate us on such late notice and so we were scouring the internet for other options. When I submitted a request to Paw Pals, I expected to get a polite no thank you - you're out of our service area. Instead I got a call from Jen, who was so kind, helpful and accommodating and essentially bent over backwards to help set up a sitter for us. We met the sitter at her home and it was more of the same. So friendly and welcoming to our dog and fully prepared to watch her for two weeks. We ultimately didn't end up booking with Paw Pals, only because our local sitter had an opening that allowed someone to stay in home with our dog (who is a very anxious senior shepherd-collie mix). But just based on the limited experience I had with them, I would highly recommend Paw Pals. These folks are fantastic and I only wish we lived closer so we could utilize their other services on a regular basis. Five stars all the way!

I have used Paw Pals for several trips over the last few months, and they have been phenomenal every time! Mary is extremely kind and responsive, and she makes sure that my cat and dog have the care that they need every time I am out of town. We used Paw Pals for our two cats during the holidays (2 weeks). Our experience was absolutely amazing! From the amazing communication we had with the Paw Pals team and the cat sitters to the amazing job they did with our cats. One of our cats has always been reluctant to meet new people but after these two weeks she's now the first to greet anyone! I love the updates with pictures you get after each visit which is something I always looked forward to while missing our cats. Part of our holiday included being on a cruiseship which left us with very little internet connectivity but at no point did I feel the need to worry as we knew our cats were in great hands. The responsibility of having pets comes with the need to keep them safe and comfortable at all times, and Mary and her team affords us this when our family has to be away.

Mary and her Paw Pals team are amazing!!! They have taken amazing care of my cats for several years and have always made me feel comfortable and confident that my kitties would be well cared for!!! And when my oldest cat needed special TLC which meant multiple visits a day, multiple medicines with special directions and sub-q fluids, Paw Pals took extra special care of her and always kept me informed of how she was doing with every visit!! I hired Paw Pals based on my sister’s referral. Meet & greet was very thorough and detailed. I was surprised that my finicky cat came to check the sitter out. Subsequently, a sitter watched my cat over several separate visits, and it was clear through the visit reports that my cat loved the sitter. Very positive experience working with Paw Pals Pet Siting. Owner, Mary Telesz, came to our home to meet our pets and get accustomed to their daily routine. When we were away she sent updates and pictures to let us know they were doing well. She informed us when she was introducing a new pet sitter through the business for the following days of our vacation, and the sitter left us detailed remarks. We have such peace of mind when we travel knowing our home and pets are so well cared for. Paw Pals is the best pet sitting service we’ve used, and we’re so happy we found them.

Amazing staff, they always take extra care of my dog Mango when we bring her through. They do festive days and extra fun things for the pets. The trainer Jess has worked wonders and helped us make breakthroughs with our dogs behavioral issues. I never have to worry about her being here she’s so spoiled by staff. Here is a picture of when they did doggie Dino day when they let owners opt to have their dog dig through a sand pool and grab toys. She still has her this toy to this day, and it’s one of my favorite photos of Mango!

Update July 12, 2024 - We have finally resolved the issue. We are unsure of the cause, it's likely a reaction or something she picked up while I'm boarding. Either way, we are content with their final customer service follow-up . Our complaint is mostly the lack of response initially. We enjoyed sending our dog to PetSuites for all the services they have. She's been going there for years and we believe that they are overall a good company, however when something like this happens, it's hard to send our pup back. We appreciate their services in the past and hope others don't have the same experience as ours did. July 10, 2024 - I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by PetSuites Manassas.Our dog, came back ill with allergy issues after her stay. We've been loyal customers for three years, and it pains me to write this review. We were informed by an employee that she was fed some of their canned food, despite us providing her food and specific instructions not to feed her anything else due to her allergies. We tried to contact the company for clarification and resolution, but received no response for several hours after calling and leaving a voicemail. We also sent texts and finally after several hours they responded via text to inform us that their manager was aware. After not receiving a response by the afternoon of the second day, we called. We spoke to another employee and were told by that employee that the manager stated they do not have any wet food available, contradicting the initial information we received. Furthermore, they mentioned that their dry food is salmon-based, but could not confirm if it contained any chicken ingredients, which our dog is allergic to. I asked for the manager to call me and discuss the situation. The employee reiterated that the manager would return my call by 3:30 this afternoon. However they have not contacted me by the promised time. I am deeply concerned that our dog was fed something other than what we provided, leading to her current health issues. This experience has been highly distressing, and the lack of communication from PetSuites is especially upsetting given our long-standing relationship. Additionally, the health issues caused by feeding her non-regular food have resulted in significant financial costs to us, totaling over $500 in veterinary bills and treatments.

I love this facility! Our family moved away from our usual kennel for boarding a few years ago. It’s difficult to find a kennel you can come to trust after you have developed a relationship with and come to understand the processes of another establishment. Pet Suites was great from the start. The facility is clean. Everyone there genuinely loves animals. You can tell by the animals coming and going, they are happy and enjoy being here. Transactions are never rushed, in depth conversations surrounding your pets care are the norm. They offer veterinary services, boarding, daycare, training and the list goes on. I trust the care my dog receives during his visits. The services offer transparency and reasonable costs. I cannot recommend them enough.

My Zoey LOVES coming to Petsuites! She rushes me out of the house and can't wait to be greet the staff, the other dogs and even the dog parents 😄! When she comes home, Zoey conks out until dinnertime. The staff are so wonderful and caring and genuine. Every dog that comes in always smiles and runs to staff and that says a lot about the care they receive. You will not be sorry if you choose Petsuites. Update 06/21/24 - Zoey joined group day play for the first time and had a BLAST! She made new furry friends and wore herself out. She has been attending Petsuites for over a year and we are still very pleased with everything and everyone 🙂❤️

This was my first time visiting PetSuites and I was very satisfied and impressed. The staff was very friendly and the groomer was very upfront and honest about letting me know what was going on with my fur baby. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone and I myself will be taking my business there from now on.

I took my catt to be groomed, and I was very satisfied with the cat groomer. She was very friendly and did an excellent job. I would certainly bring her there again

We were so worried about changing groomers, but all worries were replaced with shear joy at seeing our fur babies come out so happy, clean, and smelling wonderful! We were so happy when we got a call from Bobby asking for specifics and our preferences on Rocky's grooming. We will be back for sure! And now with Christmas, they came out with beautiful bows!

Staff was extremely helpful, friendly and excited about the services they provided. I am grateful that such a facility is available for us to leave our furry baby whenever we need to go out of town. I can’t say enough great things about PetSuites Manassas. I made the decision about a month ago to enroll my puppy Jaxson in Puppy Preschool to help him with socialization and the team at PetSuites has been nothing short of amazing. The care and patience they’ve shown (especially when he’s super fussy about putting on the temporary collar at check in) does not go unnoticed. Jaxson is aging out of preschool soon, but I’m sure we’ll be utilizing their other daycare services and boarding as well. Bruce, Emily, and Team THANKS SO MUCH for always taking such great care of my boy! I’m a first time dog owner and so glad that I found a place I can trust.

I (and my dog, Cider!) absolutely love Dog Topia Fairfax City! Cider goes to daycare there once a week (he has the one day, weekly wellness plan option), and he loves all the staff and his fur-iends. He loves going to play, exercise, and socialize, and he enjoys both the inside and outside facilities. Cider also has had his nails trimmed there at the “spa” multiple times, which is very convenient. We are very grateful for Dog Topia Fairfax City!

Lulu loves her days at Fairfax Dogtopia! The staff is wonderful and make her feel special, the grooming services are great too! She’s cautious around people but loves the staff and trusts them, it’s really helping her with her anxiety. She gets so excited when we pull around the corner and see the building!

Luray loves Dogtopia Fairfax City! She is excited to go to school to play with the other dogs. I like that there is an outdoor area the dogs can use when the weather cooperates. We love the photo days and the times she can participate in the special treat days! The front staff is welcoming and love Luray too! The report cards are a nice touch!!

With busy school and work schedules and a high-energy Labradoodle, my family sought a safe, fun, and welcoming place for him a couple days per week. Dogtopia in Fairfax City delivered. We can tell how much he enjoys spending time with the other dogs there. The great staff is friendly and caring, too!

I love this place and so does my baby! Let me tell you how satisfied I am with the care she receives: the socialization, the technology, and the caring nature of the staff. She loves them and it's obvious they love her! All I have to say is, "Let's go to school" and she beats me to the door. Nelson and those are wonderful!

Recently joined Dogtopia for day care and future boarding. So far my dog has been very positive here. The other day care we tried he would howl and resist going back to join the other dogs. Here he is happy and secure. That is very important to me as he is a rescue that we have worked hard to protect and reduce stress and separation anxiety. Glad to have found Dogtopia.

Dogtopia of Fairfax City is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!! The staff is truly amazing, they love and care for my dog as if he was their own and in return my dog believes they are his 2nd family. He is always so happy and excited to go to daycare and as his mom, there is nothing I want more than for him to be happy, healthy and loved - Dogtopia of Fairfax City checks all these boxes. They go above and beyond everyday and I am so lucky to have them take care of my furbaby.

Tried to drop off my dog for boarding around 12:30 on 12/24. Just noticed the sign that states the lobby is closed between 12-2. There were 3 workers sitting there not really doing anything. No one had the common courtesy to come to the door to explain to me the timing. They just sat there and looked at me with my dog, her food and bed. Not off to a good start.

Dogtopia has been a godsend! Our 1 year Doberman gets all the exercise he needs. He's a different dog (in a good way). Being able to watch him on the Webcam is a huge plus. Well worth the cost. The staff are great. We love Dogtopia

Dogtopia is amazing - my pup goes to the Fairfax city location. The staff is fantastic and she always has a great time. They have been very gentle with acclimatizing her since she wasn’t very comfortable with being around other dogs before she started to come here. Absolutely amazing experience all around

We are thrilled with the Dog Stop Centreville! Everyone that works there is obviously a dog and cat lover. Our Pup is always thrilled to go for day care and boarding. The front desk is often run by Fiona and she is stand out the best at her job. Always happy, kind and welcoming. Maya is excited to go to The Dog Stop two days a week. She knows when I pack her lunch is a doggy daycare day and longs to get in the car without prompting. Moreover, the staff seems to know her on site and happy to see her. The interactions on both sides pet, pet parent, and staff is so much better than my previous experience with a big chain located in Fair Lakes!!

We love The Dog Stop Centreville for doggie daycare! Our dog Olive looks like she’s having so much fun on the camera. The staff are attentive and caring, they have really clean facilities, and the store is cute as well. We have also used the grooming services, and the groomer communicated so well with us about exactly what we wanted. We appreciate having this neighborhood business that we trust to look after our dog.

The Dog Stop is a great company. I use their services for boarding and one reason I chose them is because my dog doesn't get along with other dogs but they have a VIP option where my dog can feel safe and comfortable and still get extra play time with the handlers. The owners and staff are very friendly, receptive to feedback, and willing to help out where they can. You can tell they really love and care for dogs, and have photos of their own dogs displayed. When I get updates on my dog for longer stays, he always looks very happy. Highly recommend this location and will continue using them.

I took my golden retriever, Kobe, here after being disappointed with the large chains that provided inconsistent and lazy services. Kobe is quite an anxious dog and had recently had surgery so I wanted to take him somewhere where he would be looked after well and I could not have chosen a better place! Everyone at the Dog Stop was so loving and caring towards him, they groomed him immaculately, and even gave him a cute little Christmas-themed bandana. Will definitely be coming back here and I encourage you to give them a shot!

Overall great experience. I booked grooming for my 1 yr old pup with Katie and she did an amazing job. She’s very knowledgeable too. Front desk staff was awesome, friendly and professional -Super nice people. We’ll be back for sure!

The Dog Stop is by far the best doggy day care center I have ever been fortunate enough to take my pup, Beckham! We have been going to The Dog Stop for about 7 months now and we have consistently loved everything about it. The staff act like a family and treat my dog as a part of my family. The Dog Stop is NOT your typical "commercialized" center who doesn't know your dog. They know your dog, your dog's name the moment you walk in, the pup's likes and dislikes and always notice changes or good wins to report back to the owner at pick up. Pick up and drop off is always a breeze and on days where Beckham doesn't want to eat breakfast before daycare I will drop off lunch for him to eat mid day. This has been really helpful for consistency purposes. Mr. Beckham comes home happy and healthy 3 days a week with daycare and I'm grateful that he can burn some of that energy. They have killer deals on daycare packages, fun games for owners to play to win free services, a variety of services to choose from, and consistency with all of it. The Dog Stop also goes above and beyond with helping my pup try store samples (because he is such a picky eater) and helped take care of him in "VIP" while he was recovering from surgery so I (owner) could still go to work. I love the Dog Stop and am very grateful for their existence and consistent upholding of amazing customer service and sincere love for the dogs they take in. Mr. Beckham (@beckhamthebrave) loves his down time from service dog duty while playing at The Dog Stop. We will see you in a few days, thanks again for everything!

I brought my dog Cooper in for a nail trim, and I was impressed from the moment I walked in. The facility is very clean and organized. I was impressed with the knowledge of the women that helped me out at the front counter. Also, I would recommend Katie for any of your dog grooming services because she is very friendly and knowledgeable about dog grooming. What I was really impressed about was being able to speak to the owner and ask questions about the area. My partner and I recently moved to the area and are looking for vets. I asked the staff at the Dog Stop, and they gave a handful of recommendations. But I liked that the owner gave a recommendation on where she personally takes her dog. I am very pleased with the service that I got today!

The Dogstop in Centreville has been a wonderful experience. They are convenient, well priced with lots of services, friendly/attentive staff, and the facility has several areas for the dogs to play based on size and interaction level. With the multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, it doesn't get boring for the dogs. We have had mixed experiences with other boarding and doggy daycare facilities in the immediate area, but Dogstop has been nothing but great. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about Pender and their assistance importing a dog from a high risk rabies country (Ghana). Due to all of the new CDC rules, the process took 6 months but I could not have navigated it without them. Special shout out to Mike who answered so many questions throughout (even before I had an actual reservation secured). They made the process possible and we are forever grateful. They took great care of Apricot for the two days she spent there while we waited for CDC release (she had some significant skin issues that needed attention). We also saw lots of happy playing dogs in the doggy daycare/boarding area. Highly recommend. I’d give 100 stars if I could

Travelled from India to DC & was really worried how my pet Luna who is a pug would make it through the quarantine as she is only mouth fed but I would say she did fairly well & am sure the team really took care of her & the vet had given some antibiotics as she had some skin infection due to the hot weather in India which now her skin is improving and hope it goes away completely once her 10 day course is complete. I would really want to Thank the Vet & the Pender Pet Team for taking care of my girl & would surely recommend them and you can trust your pet 100% with them. Great work Team.

Their pricing was fair and transparent and they communicated regularly with me about my pup's status and connected me with transport from DC to Wisconsin. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone importing a dog from another country.

Smart, friendly staff -- great for single-day daycare or long boarding. Love their "enrichment" options to add some additional activity to our dog's day! Attached pic is our dog, Pajamas, out on a nature hike with one of the caretakers. He always seems to enjoy his time there, and Pender is always quick to provide updates about his stay.

Hudson loves doggy daycare and comes home a happy and exhausted pup. It's nice to be able to watch him play with his friends on camera. Having a high energy dog, Pender is a lifesaver and a nice break from us at home having to provide the 5 hours of exercise a day he needs.

This was my first time ever boarding all 3 of my dogs, and I was definitely nervous to be away from them for my wedding weekend. First off the facility is beautiful and spacious! The staff is also super friendly. When we came to pick up our pups they were all in great shape and our anti social cattle dog seemed extremely happy and comfortable (which is saying a lot-he’s a really shy guy). Thank you Pender!

Mike was brilliant from start to finish. He was always friendly and helpful. He kept me up to date with what was happening. He flagged the paperwork that needed amending to avoid any problems. My dog needed to be collected by a ground handler and he kept her up to date with when my dog would be ready for colelction. I would highly recommend using Pender Pet Retreat. A huge thanks again to Mike and the team for all their support.

Took exactly care of our pup Harley Quinn , her and I both have anxiety. Caretakers stayed in constant communication with me , and didn't make me feel like I was bugging them even though I called three times within the first 24 hours, lol(its her first time boarding).I will be using the services again. Knowing Harley was an excellent care. I picked her up and she is very happy in a good mood .Which says a lot about the caretakers at Penderpets.

We boarded our dog at Pender over a weekend for a total of four nights. The interior is new and clean, and the staff were all very welcoming and kind. We selected the “presidential suite” accommodation for our dog: this accommodation includes several outings a day, a fluffy bed, and a 24/7 camera, among other things. Despite the wonderful employees, my partner and I were fairly disappointed with the “24/7 camera,” as this was a big selling point for us. The camera was at an odd angle and extremely blurry, ultimately providing a very limited and unclear view of our dog. Half the room was out of shot, we have no idea if she was provided a bed as all we could see was a raised cot. One night we checked the camera and it was totally black, presumably because the lights were off in the facility, but it is a stretch to claim your camera is 24/7 if you can’t see anything all night. (Screen shots attached). None of the other camera views available to us of the outdoors ever showed our dog on a walk or playing when we checked them. We also didn’t receive any updates or any progress report, so we don’t know how she faired while there. Even so, importantly, at pick up our dog was very happy and appears healthy. Overall I think this is a safe place to board your pet with nice people, albeit there could be some very simple changes to improve pet owner comfort and peace of mind (better camera maintenance, progress report at pick up or daily update). I’d round up and give 3.5 stars if I could.

Teddy loves going to the “hotel”! We have used Montrose for over two years and they have been so incredible. The one on one attention they give to each fur baby rather than group play was really what made boarding him here so stress free. The staff are all so lovely and we look forward to the report cards after every visit. We continue to use Montrose even after moving closer to DC since the experience has been nothing but amazing!

Montrose was recommended to us by a family member a year ago and we've been taking our pup there ever since! Their staff is incredibly friendly and very quick to respond if you ever need anything. They even send you email updates with photos of your pup :) Our dog gets so excited to go! Highly recommend Montrose.

This was our first time using Montrose Pet Hotel and our dog seemed to do really well. We will definitely plan to use it again! Very grateful to have a place so close to home.

We have boarded our dog at montrose pet hotel a few times now. My dog can be finicky and slow to warm up to new people and environments but he runs tail wagging towards the door the second we drop him off which is the only proof I need. The staff all goes above and beyond. They are so professional, friendly and I can tell they genuinely care about the animals that stay with them. My dog always comes back smelling clean and with a fun little report card summarizing his stay which is a nice touch. I am confident when I leave my dog at MPH he is in good hands.

Our reactive dog stayed for a trial two days (one night) and they apparently made him feel completely comfortable! He even ate, and got along with everyone! Thanks for giving our little monster a lovely time!

Our pets stayed there for an entire week and seemed to have a blast. Any time we called to check on our pups the staff was so respectful and receptive. It was clear that they cared and spent time with our dogs!

Absolutely the best place to take care of my dog and the only place I trust completely. I have used their help on four different occasions over the last two years, my dog is always happy. Everyone I have met there is kind, friendly and patient, the place is always very clean. Communication has also been great: they never failed to send an email with a picture and reassure me that my dog was doing well. I very much appreciate the concern they showed when he got sick one day. We now use the vet in the same building - his experience has been priceless. Many thanks to all!!!

LOVE Montrose Pet Hotel! We boarded our greyhounds (read: high maintenance!) here in a double cabin. The care takers are so good with each animal - ours are big babies and they were handled with love and care into the kennel area. We received a printout detailing how their stay went along with a picture of each dog during play time. Play time is separate for each dog unless they are "siblings." Knowing that our favorite vet is now overseeing the Pet Hotel gives us peace of mind knowing our fur babies are getting the best care. Thank you Dr T!
