Sonya and Alex are, hands down, the best dogsitters we have ever had. They arrived the evening before their stay to meet us and learn about our pups and their daily routines. Our dogs, Ozzie and Mabel, loved them from the moment they met, and so did we! We spent a truly delightful evening and the next morning all together before we left on our month long vacation. I was overjoyed to know that our dogs would be so well loved and cared for while we were away. Sonya and Alex proved to be a dream come true. Because they work from home, they were with our pups all day. Ozzie and Mabel enjoyed daily walks, brushings, play time, tons of fun and lots of tender loving care. Sonya sent us detailed updates, photos and videos of their adventures together with Ozzie and Mabel. Upon our return, Sonya picked us up at the airport and drove us home to a sparklingly clean house which was actually even cleaner than we had left it. Our garden and houseplants were all well taken care of and to top it off they had made us a beautiful welcome home dinner. Our dogs looked so healthy and happy and full of love and adoration for both Sonya and Alex. If I could give Sonya and Alex more than 5 stars, I would. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for extraordinary pet and housesitters. We feel so lucky to have had them care for our dogs and in the process we have made dear friends. They are extremely caring, kind, responsible, loving and lovable:) Our pups, Ozzie and Mabel, miss them and we are all looking forward to the next time they can visit.

This was another wonderful house/pet sit in the beautiful Oakland neighborhood of Rockridge. Michael and Bobbi are warm and friendly hosts and they have a spacious, beautiful, well-appointed, art-filled home, with a view of the city and Golden Gate bridge from their master bedroom window. Phoenix is a lovable, energetic, happy-go-lucky Goldendoodle who is fun to walk and easy to care for. He loves to play, sit by you, and roam the neighborhood. In Rockridge you are close to great restaurants, grocery stores, and shops, as well as a short drive to Berkeley and San Francisco. We highly recommend this housesit!

For a small menagerie, it’s still any easy sit. The cats will greet you right away and make you feel at home. Harry, Mochi and Rocky are always happy to see you (with food :). The house is nice and comfortable within easy drives of some lovely walking trails, cute towns and stores, restaurants, etc. I also appreciated Leah’s thoughtfulness and communication. The stay was thoroughly enjoyed and I would happily stay again!

Contact went very well with Vanessa from the first exchanges. I arrived at this beautifull home in a warm atmosphere of trust. The property is full of charm and beauty. The architecture offers large spaces and magnificient views of the park and the surrounding nature while being very warm. The park is rich in very beautifull plantations to take care of, for me it was spring so generous watering was essential. Floby the cat on the estate is a box of cuddles. I won't forget him ... lots of exchanges. The region and its surrouding villages are very touching in history and authenticity. So when Vanessa asked me if i could extend the stay by 2 weeks, I didn't hesitate as my schedule allowed it. A stay that gives a taste of " come back " as they say! Thank you Vanessa for this trust and this welcome. With hope to see you soon!

"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Dr. Seuss

If you're ever given the opportunity to care for little Ollie you might be inclined to cry at the end of your sit. I was when we had to leave him. Ollie will steal your heart from day one. But you'll also have many, many moments when you can't help but smile or laugh because this little boy is such an adorable character.

Well trained and usually very laid-back Ollie charmed everyone he met and accepted the adulation with an air of calm dignity. On walks, depending on the temperature, he knew where and how far he wanted to go (he prefers cool). On car rides he calmly rested until we reached our destination then joined us on our strolls without misbehaving. At mealtime he enjoyed being tempted with a delicious morsel first and then happily allowed (and expected) us to feed him one kibble at a time (and believe me when I say, it's a very enjoyable and relaxing way to spend a few moments). At bedtime when he saw me make moves to settle for the night, he climbed the doggy steps to the bed, made himself comfortable and waited as if to say, "what's taking you so long; come join me".

You can't resist Ollie; he is an absolute delight and pleasure. And the same can be said about his human parents and their home.

From beginning to end, interaction with Laura and her husband Phil were 100% positive. Laura went above and beyond to ensure our stay would be pleasant. She and her husband warmly welcomed us, gave us a tour of the home and informed us about its particulars. They introduced us to their neighbors and took us on a tour of the immediate surroundings to show us Ollie's favorite places to walk/explore.

Their home is beautiful yet comfortable and spotless. Nestled in an oasis of green and bordered with lush woodlands the home provided us with a constant sense of serenity. During our stay we were blessed with sightings of many birds, a hawk, and a few deer that wandered by; on two separate nights we heard the hooting sounds of an owl nearby.

All this made our recent sit extremely pleasant. But the "star of the show" truly is Ollie. If you're lucky enough to be selected to care for him I'm sure that you'll agree with me when I say, you'll be sad when you have to leave him.

We certainly hope to return and care for the "little Prince" :-)

Valeria was very welcoming and hospitable. She certainly went above and beyond to make my time away in Milano enjoyable, making us feel like friends as opposed to housesitters.
The lovely master of the house, Brillo, was an absolute breeze. He has a carefree personalitie, making the sit the stress-free.
In terms of the apartment; the location was perfect, with most points of interest being within walking distance.
Thank you!
