We can't recommend Happy Hounds enough. Our dog Coco, loves his sitter Ellie. She's is amazing, looks after Coco so well and we can see that every time she comes to pick him up. He's so so happy to see her and to go with her. Everything is very organised and so easy to manage on the website and we get multiple updates daily by whatsapp. Chloe is also very nice and so helpful with any questions you have. Unfortunately we're leaving the area and Coco won't be able to join daycare with Ellie anymore. We have been using Happy Hounds and Cooler Cats for years and the service from Chloe and the team is amazing. Our dog always comes back so happy from his group walks and it’s clear he enjoys his time with his walkers immensely. I got in touch with Happy Hounds when it was time to return to work (having gained a puppy during lockdown) and they were so helpful in getting me set up with recurring services, answering any questions I had and they made leaving my puppy to return to work so much easier both emotionally and practically. My pup really enjoys the daycare and the socialisation has helped her a lot in many training aspects (even if there is still work to do). They also provide daily updates (with pics) of your pooch while they're gone which is super reassuring and something to brighten your day. They're very fairly priced and just seem like a lovely bunch of people who love what they do. I'd definitely recommend this services to other dog owners - my puppy loves going and I don't have to worry at all while she's gone.

Without doubt the best dog walking service that we have ever used. The team at Happy Hounds are completely professional and always accommodating of last minute requests as best as they can. Our dog Dalton adores his walkers, is always excited to be picked up and comes home exhausted and happy, ready for a nap. We are sent videos of his outings which is really lovely for us, and the walkers are always vigilant to any changes in behaviour and report back to us if they have any concerns. Had our first boarding experience with Johanna who watched Olive for us and I must say how comfortable my husband and I felt with her ! She stayed in touched with us, sent photos and updates..and put a business contact number tag on her collar just in case anything were to happen ..I really appreciated that extra safety..as someone who suffers with anxiety and I always worry about my pup when we go away, I can say I feel quite at ease knowing she will be in good hands with her ! I honestly can't speak highly enough about Happy Hounds. After recently moving to east london with my two dogs and having to work some days in the office, I felt very anxious about who would walk my dogs when I was at work. My dogs are my world and whilst looking online it dawned on me that I was actually trying to find someone to walk the most important thing I own. I felt so relieved to come across Happy Hounds. We contacted Happy Hounds to organise daycare for our dog Ludo while I was pregnant, so that we could have some extra help to see me through the new born stage. My son is now 18 months and we’ve only now said our goodbyes! The service is excellent, so friendly and they always gave an update inc photos on the days Ludo was in daycare. Miranda and Sam have been cat sitters for my cats for the last 5 years. They are absolutely fantastic! Clear communication and updates following each visit, incredibly professional and the most important thing they really care about the cats. As my boys have gotten older Miranda and Sam have been brilliant able to give them extra TLC when needed as well as following increasingly complicated food and medication regimes! When my flight was delayed it was no problem to book in an emergency additional visit. Knowing they are caring for them gives me the peace of mind to be able to go away knowing they are in safe hands and truly cared for. Would highly recommend, you could not ask for better people to be caring for your cats

Quality of care of our cats was good over the course of a year but sadly two unacceptable behaviours resulted in us having to end Miranda cat sitting for us. Firstly, Miranda would send passive aggressive messages to us (on multiple occasions) while we were away which we felt was completely unnecessary and inappropriate and would often upset us while we were trying to enjoy our time away. Secondly, we recently found out that Miranda and Sam (her sister) lied about visiting our cats - they sent the same set of photos from another visit and thought we wouldn't notice. When we respectfully confronted them about it, Miranda continued to lie and got very aggressive with us. What was also disappointing was that this was one of the hottest weekends of the year and the cats were stuck inside with no-one to check on them. Overall, we realised that we couldn't trust Miranda (or Sam) to care for our cats appropriately or deal with us professionally. Such a shame that it ended this way.

Miranda is excellent! She had a great, patient approach with my anxious cat and sent us regular updates with photos. She has also been extremely accommodating with our schedule changes and requirements, and really took the time to get to know our cat, her personality and needs. Will absolutely book again :)

I was very happy with the service from Miranda at Mischievous Meows looking after my cats. She is very attuned, attentive and nurturing to my cats and I noticed they were very happy after having spent time with Miranda. She is clearly diligent and she is also reliable and where she said she would be, so accountable and reputable. I would highly recommend her services to any who are going away and do not want to use boarding as an option and have kitties cared for from the comfort of home. I trust Miranda and I can see she is only focussed on the wellbeing of the cats and I found my home in same condition as I left it. 5 star service!!

Miranda looked after my two cats while I went on holiday. I would recommend her service too anyone and everyone. Although one of my cats hid the whole time, she still tried to calm him and get him to warm up to her. My other kitten would with growl with toys which amazingly stopped after Mirandas time with her. It's clear that this isn't just a job for her but she genuinely loves cats. She gave me such piece of mind leaving them for a week, which was my first time leaving them that long. Every visit she made she would send an update and pictures. Will 100% be a returning client when I have to go away again. I returned to two very happy cats who were well looked after.

Aurora is a fantastic walker. She really cares about dogs and Rhia was clearly very happy with her walks. I felt totally secure with her service. Aurora is great with communication and send great pictures. I would highly recommend and will be using again in the future!

I'm very happy with Aurora's help to look after Bobby, my cat, for almost a week. She was very thorough and knowledgeable with good experience taking care of pets. Aurora has looked after my cat a few times when I’ve been away. She is trustworthy and I feel she really cares about him. She understands that a cat needs love and attention just as much as they need food and water. I can enjoy going on holiday knowing that my companion is being well looked after.

Aurora took care of our Boston Terrier and Vizsla for one night, and we couldn’t be happier! She has awesome knowledge, especially she knew how to work with our energetic Vizsla. Super responsible, she follows all safety rules, ensuring our dogs were secure and comfortable. Aurora is also very communicative, competent, and incredibly nice. Aurora is absolutely amazing. She came over to meet my cat, Pigeon, before taking on the job to make sure they both got on and she knew where everything was. Then, she was super thorough and asked for lots of details about Pigeon and her health and who our vets were etc. incase of any issues when she was cat sitting. This was massively appreciated and let me know Aurora was an amazing choice as cat-sitter! I got pictures of pigeon when I was away so I knew everything was okay and I felt so reassured the whole time which meant I could really enjoy myself. I wouldn't hesitate to use Aurora for cat-sitting again, and can't recommend others do the same!! And see attached for some lovely pics of Pigeon and Aurora!

Aurora took really good care of my Penelope (cat) when I had to go away urgently. They got on instantly so I knew she would be in great company. I received an update and photos everyday which was a great part of the service and Aurora kept me updated on anything else that occurred during the 2 weeks. I could not be happier with the service and I know Penelope was really looked after. I will definitely be using Aurora's services in the future and will recommend to family and friends.

Our cockapoo has been going to Aurora since April 2021 (when he was about 14 weeks old) for daycare 2-3 times a week and overnights, and he couldn’t be happier! Aurora, Diego and her dogs are his second family - they’ve taken such good care of him, I really don’t know what we would do without her. Even since we moved out of the area last month, we still send him for overnights because it’s such a comfort to know he’s somewhere where he’s loved and looked after. We have also sent him for longer periods when we have been away on holiday and she’s been great. She is always very reliable, communicative and really knows how to take care of animals. Do not hesitate to book, but be warned, your dog may have a new favourite!

My standard dachshund has been going for over a year. She leaps from her bed whenever they show up for pickup. She is always excited to spend a day with other dogs and comes home happy and exhausted. The staff is responsive and helpful via email. Scheduling on their app is easy. I love getting the updates from the team on chime showing my dog playing with her friends. They are kind, helpful, and professional. Their services have been a real life saver.

We take our 6 month puppy here once a week and he loves it. We get regular updates of our puppy and his new friends and the owners/staff are really friendly and inviting. They also do checks to make sure the dogs are fully vaccinated etc make sure all the dogs in their care are friendly. Our puppy is very tired when he gets home after a full day of socialising with all the other wonderful dogs in Great and Small Dog Care. Very happy and would definitely recommend ☺️

I can't recommend Great and Small Dog Care highly enough. My dog was very happy and well cared for attending daycare on a weekly basis for over a year. Never an issue and always responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Obviously the priority was for my dog to be happy and cared for but also as a single busy professional the peace of mind knowing that he was ok whilst I was at the office made my life that much easier. I am no longer living in London which is the only reason he no longer attends....although I did ask if they would collect him from my place of work so he could continue with them but unfortunately (yet understandably) we are now outside the catchment area :)

My dog Pickles, the dachshund, has been going to daycare here typically once a week for over a year and a half. She is excited to go and see her other pup friends, play, and go on walks. The daycare usually sends a photo and update during her stay which we really like receiving. We utilise their drop off service in the evening which is helpful since we can’t always get away from work to do pick-up. The only thing we would prefer is if the hours were a little bit longer. Overall, great experience!

BEWARE. I am writing this here to save others the pain that I, and my partner, have endured at the hands of this organisation. We looked to move our dog from a previous daycare to a closer one for work-reasons and found Great and Small Dog Care through Google. There were nothing but issues from the start. Our dog would often come home with the wrong lead, missing bag and once injured from 'walks' with other dogs. We also kept in contact with the company hoping issues would be rectified as we spent more time getting to know the staff. This is where the issue lies. The staff turnover is high and the dependence on individual contractors means different people looking after the dogs each day. The dogs do not seem to be in safe hands. Case in point, our dog was dropped off at our apartment most recently and not securely placed in his crate as requested in the notes. The excuse given was the member of staff was an individual contractor and had not read the notes. Our dog unfortunately got out and damaged property (shoes and upholstery) as well as spreading mud over the apartment. We were left astonished at the lack of communication around this and attempted to call the dog-care centre to discuss how best to move forward. We were met with what one can only describe as severe aggression and apathy. I feel compelled to warn others about this dishonesty and sheer unkindness of this business and for reference have added photos to this review showing in blue our message to the dog-care and, in white, their response. We are in utter disbelief that any human, let alone business, would find it acceptable to speak to another in such a manner. They have threatened in their reply with anger in place of looking to resolve any issue we had. They do not answer telephone calls as is stated in their e-mail below, and they will certainly not look to rectify any issues that arise. BEWARE. Stay safe and avoid this business at all costs. I am more than happy to be contacted by anyone who might also have experienced issues with this daycare (as it seems this is not a sole incident with us) or anyone thinking about placing their dog in the care of this company. We have luckily saved all our correspondence and photos of the incidents raised with the organisation and would be happy to share.

Our dog Barbara the Whippet is always so excited when she gets picked up by Great and Small Dog Care. Also when she sees one of the dog walkers in the park she always has a waggy tail. So it's 5 stars from her! She is always very tired when she comes home after a day of playing! It is really convenient. So simple to book her in for any one off additional days. They are reliable.

Our puppy Floki, attends a couple of days a week and it's the highlight of the week for her. she absolutely loves spending time there and playing with the other dogs. The team are great, very friendly and communicative. I love the pics and videos throughout the day and knowing our pup is in such safe hands is such a relief. Would definitely recommend.

Great and Small Dog Care are wonderful, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. My dog Luna has been going to daycare several times a week for 8 months now, and she absolutely loves it. She's excited when she gets picked up in the mornings, and the times when I drop her off, she can't wait to go in. When Luna suffered an injury while on a walk with me, they checked in to see how she was doing and were understanding of her needs. In addition, communication during and about appointments is excellent (I love the pictures I get during the day), and they're accommodating of reasonable schedule changes. Luna and I are so happy that we've found them!

My corgi puppy Nugget has been attending dog day care for the past 3 months. The team is fantastic, Nugget can’t wait to be picked up in the morning and gets super excited when they arrive. We adore Jo and LPC, and only wish we were still in their catchment area for our dog Dewey. Upon first meeting Jo, was incredibly patient and caring with Dewey who can be anxious in meeting new people. She was the first person he stayed with after a move from NYC to London and it very much helped his settling in here and off lead recall. He was always very happy to get picked up and came home tired in the best way!

My puppy Olive has been going to LPC for a couple of months now and she loves it. She recently boarded with them for a week while we were away - something I was really anxious about but she had a great time. Jo sent me lots of updates and pics, which really helped ease my anxiety. Olive loves Jo and Michael and is so happy and excited to see them and really loves spending time at LPC. I’ve also noticed she’s so much more confident since going. Plus going as a puppy really helped her socialisation. Her lead walking has also improved and she’s such a good eater now too whereas before she was super fussy and often wouldn’t finish meals. I’m so happy we found Littlest Paws Club - they’re the best!

I’ve been sending my two rabbits to Charlie for a few years and am always so happy with the love and care they receive with every stay. They get plenty of fresh veggies and outdoor time, and for me photo updates so I’m at ease while travelling. Even after a couple weeks away from home, both buns are very relaxed and that is down to Charlie’s outstanding knowledge of pet care and the welcoming environment she creates.

Charlie did a phenomenal job with our two pet rabbits! I was going on vacation for two weeks and I did extensive research to find the best pet hotel for my babies. Charlie went above and beyond with them. She made sure there was always lots of play time and provided beautiful photos when I asked for updates. She also helped clip their names and groom them! It was also super reassuring knowing my bunnies had access to A/C during the London summer heat! Have already rebooked for some future vacations but I can’t think of anyone better to have look after my bunnies ❤️

I often leave my rabbit, Robin, with Charlie when I go away as I know he will be in safe hands! He's been coming to A Furry World, for a few years now and seems to enjoy himself on his little adventures. I love that Charlie sends picture updates of what he's up to, and provides that extra bit of reassurance as an experienced animal carer. I always know that Robin is being well looked after, and he gets the added benefit of playing in the garden sometimes, which must be a real treat as don't have access to one at home! Highly recommend :)

Charlie was absolutely brilliant. She looked after our Hamster Nibbles while we were on holiday and we had complete peace of mind that he was being very well cared for. She sent regular pictures to us and always responded quickly to any communication. Would 100% recommend her to look after your pets!

My Guinea pigs love it there! Since finding Charlie I would not leave my piggies anywhere else, they are extremely well looked after and always come home happy and relaxed. Charlie looks after both of my bunnies when we go away, she takes excellent care of them. I actually think they don’t want to come home! Communication is great and we receive photos and videos of the bunnies whilst away which is lovely. Gives me peace of mind to leave them in safe hands.

Charlie at A Furry World is an absolute godsend! I have now used her pet sitting services for my bunny babies three times in the last year - most recently for 11 days whilst travelling. Charlie is professional, caring and a genuine pet lover. She keeps you updated with how your pet is doing through emails and photos and puts the wellbeing of your pet at the forefront - confidently escalating any health concerns where necessary. My bunnies love her and I would happily use her services again in the future.

Furry World provided our bunny a caring and loving environment for the duration of it's stay with them. The proprietor is friendly, communicative and clearly cares a lot about the little creatures. We received regular updates on the rabbit's exploits including photos, which gave further assurance the bunny was having a cracking holiday away us:) Highly recommended !

From being a first time pet owner not having any knowledge of Catteries I stumbled across pixi pet care online and made an enquiry (best thing I ever did)! Cailey responded in great detail to the things I’d need if I haven’t already done so immunisation etc she helped me step by step through the whole process of the pre booking. Through out our cats stay there we were kept well informed of how he was via WhatsApp videos which was really good to see as it put my mind at ease knowing he’s being looked after. For anyone looking for a cattery I would 100% recommend Pixi Pet care. I look forward to using them in the coming future.

We’ve been sending our dog to daycare with Cailey since she was a puppy. She loves spending her time there with her friends and we feel reassured to know that our dog is having fun and being looked after well whilst we’re at work. Cailey is a dog lover and was also a great source of advice and support for us as new puppy owners. The daycare service is also great value for money compared to other options in the area. Wow if you're looking for a perfect dog walker in the Herne Bay area then look no further. Vanessa's commitment and experience in dog handling/walking is second to none. Being completely trustworthy Vanessa's love for dogs and all pets shines through. When I go on holiday Vanessa, not only looks after my dog, but my 2 guinea pigs too - this means I can have time away knowing all my pets needs are catered for and return home to very contented pampered pets.

Vanessa is an excellent dog walker. She cares deeply about her relationship with the dogs, and is accommodating to all their needs. She is super reliable and a joy to work with. I would strongly recommend.

As a pet professional myself I'm very picky on who I would leave my dog with but I was filled with confidence and provided a great service, she gave me regular updates and my dog came home happy and content on both occasions. He was a little more difficult than your average dog but Sharon was capable of handling his needs without issue.

Sharon visited our small pets while we were away to feed and clean them. She clearly really cares about the welfare of the animals, and I was very comfortable leaving them in her care. When we returned it was clear they'd been well looked after.

Sharon has been looking after our dog for over 2 years now. Sharon is always accommodating even though our dog has to be solo boarded. Our dog is very happy with Sharon and always pleased to see her. Any special instructions given such as food requirements are always followed. Sharon is very responsive to all messages and sends us pictures and updates, which is greatly appreciated.

Sharon has looked after our small animals in her home on several occasions now. We have been delighted with the care she has given them - great communication and peace of mind for us. Could not recommend her more highly.
