We booked Sam & Ben due to their five star reviews and I can say, whole heartedly, that they exceeded expectations! Sam was super invested in our dog Ziggi’s well being from our first interaction, and her true love for animals is super evident. She was so professional but kind enough to guide us through the process as first time housesitters. Before the sit, Sam took time to understand Ziggi’s routine and behaviour, and even joined me on a walk to understand how to manage him “out in the wild” 😂. During the sit, the regular daily picture and video updates were so appreciated, and demonstrated just how well Ziggi was being looked after. When you’re on the other side of the world, there really is nothing better than seeing your pet so happy, and a gorgeous little friendship emerging! Sam and Ben also helped out with a couple of issues we were having with the house and left the house in immaculate condition with a very thoughtful welcome home gift too. I can’t thank Sam & Ben enough for being so awesome for our first house sitting experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again (that’s if they’re not already booked up from being so popular!).

My sweet girl Jett loves going to Critter Nanny. I take her 5 days a week while I am at work. She is loved and gets good play time with other dogs.
If we mention the name of one of our puppy's friends at Critter Nanny, Jazzy will run to the door and want to go. She loves the place! It has been an awesome place for her to learn socialization skills. We call it puppy Disneyland. Nancy and Jim have a wealth of information when it comes to dogs. We trust them with our puppy and the choices they make regarding Jazz, like how they choose to mix our pup with other puppies/dogs. We highly recommend Critter Nanny for daycare or boarding!

Jim and Nancy have been a life savor for taking care of our doodle! She wags with happiness as soon as we turn down their drive way and every time she sees Jim its like the first time- she never wants to come home. For many years, our dogs have stayed with Critter Nanny while we are out of town. Jim and Nancy do a great job and are very conscientious about all the details. Our pets are always well cared for and have a chance to play with compatible dogs, so it is fun for them. Our boxer, who has passed away, used to get excited when the suitcases came out because she knew she was going Critter Nanny and would get to play with new dogs.
Our family has called on Jim & Nancy many times a year for six years for care of two dogs and one kitty. Each detail from drop-off to pick-up has been carefully thought out to make the experience enjoyable and low-stress. We used Critter Nanny for many years and found them outstanding in every way. Our little dog, Daisy, spent many vacations there. As soon as we started up the driveway, Daisy would go 'nuts' wagging her tail and making a fool of herself. I have recently recommended a friend without any reservations of trusting Jim and Nancy. We ❤️ Critter Nanny! We ran into a situation where we couldn’t take our pups with us on vacation and forced with the decision to board them. From Facebook reviews, we decided to give Critter Nanny a chance and are extremely happy with our decision. I had this anxious feeling during our entire stay, never had boarded our dogs before and was SO excited to pick them up and expected them to share in this excitement, apparently I was the only one because they loved their stay SO much they didn’t want to come back to boring old home. They are currently passed out, so exhausted from their week of fun that they could care less that they are back with their actual family, probably dreaming of all the play they had, wishing they were back at Critter Nanny’s! This family owned business has my support, if ever we are in need again... We may just find that the next time we need a vacation we will be thinking of our next no doggies allowed destination just so they can their vacation too!
Jim and Nancy are the most compassionate, empathetic people I have ever met. Trusting them with our beloved pets is a no brainer! When we have to leave them we are confident they are happy and well cared for. We appreciate knowing that they are available when we need a safe, loving, healthy pet lodge when we travel.

Mary Ellen takes the best care of my dogs, so much that the youngest would happily stay there forever. Great pick up/drop off process. Excellent communication and scheduling is easy, daycare or boarding. So glad to have stumbled across her place years ago!
My husband, myself and our pup just moved to the SE area and we were stressing on finding a doggy daycare. We both work all day and didn’t want our pup to be home alone; he has a lot of anxiety & especially separation anxiety. We found Mary Ellen’s daycare and immediately she sounded like a good fit. We’ve been taking our pup to her for about a month now and it’s been going great! We were really concerned that his anxiety would be an issue and that maybe it’d be a bit much for Mary Ellen, but she quickly dispelled those fears. She’s been working with our pup and helping him adjust to the new routine and has been incredibly kind and patient. We’re so grateful to have found Mary Ellen ☺️☺️☺️
We LOVE Wag Along! Our pup has been going there for a while for daycare and comes home happy and exhausted. We've also boarded her there and had a great experience. Mary Ellen is knowledgeable, flexible and reliable, and it is such a great spot for our pup to spend some time each week! Our girl can be a little nervous to leave us (she grew up during pandemic stay-home orders), but warmed right up to going! I know how much she loves it by her excitement when we pull in for drop off & at the end of the day, she usually doesn't want to leave! We consider Wag Along her second family and highly recommend them for boarding or daycare :)
I feel grateful to have found this day care/boarding location for my pup! I’ve brought my pup there for day care and I’ve boarded her for as long as 5 days. My dog always leaves happy and tired from playing with all the other wonderful dogs. I trust that Mary Ellen keeps a watchful eye over all of the dogs while they are under her care. Mary Ellen is excellent at communicating with me and I feel 100% comfortable leaving my puppy there. I would highly recommend!
Mary Ellen is the best. We always leave our dog with her when we're away and have been doing so since 2016. As soon as we pull up outside her house, she starts whimpering to get out and join her friends. Mary Ellen has two dogs of her own, Margaux and Rou, both wonderful golden retrievers who our dog adores. They're kind of like benevolent older siblings to her. I often think our dog has a better time than we do — home away from home!
I took my anxious 1 year old puppy to Wag Along to try to help with her separation anxiety and socialization. Mary Ellen took extra good care of her and within a few weeks Bootsy was more confident and well behaved and she loves going to see Mary Ellen and to play with the other dogs. I appreciate how very easy drop off and pick up is, and that my pup is still clean at the end of the day. Mary Ellen is kind, responsible and the price is right.
We’ve taken our energetic 1.5 year old heeler Sylvie here since the beginning of the year, been a very positive experience. Space-wise it’s essentially a house & yard, rather than the typical warehouse type areas of other doggy daycares. We appreciate the fact that the owner, Mary Ellen, has been doing this a long time and is very hands-on – it’s good to know our pup’s with someone experienced & who really cares about both the animals & how things are run. She’s flexible and the whole process has been super easy. Price is pretty standard. Our dog is fairly high strung and at first she had a lot of anxiety about being left there. But after a little while she got over it, now it’s fun to watch her excitedly run to Mary Ellen & all her doggy friends in the morning. I think the daycare has actually helped out her maturation process. Mary Ellen sends video clips and/or photos during the day showing them playing & lounging around, which is fun for a doting dog parent like me. The pup comes home happy & tired. We just do part-time right now - to socialize Sylvie & keep her company while the humans work, also to create a familiarity in case we ever have to board her there sometime for travel. Highly recommended.
We love having our Sully with Mary Ellen. We never worry about him when he’s there. We use daycare and board with her when we are out of town. He is always excited to see her and she takes such good care of the pups in her care. Recommend her 110%.
Mary Ellen takes such good care of my baby, I never worry at all when she’s there. My dog was super timid before she started going about a year ago and now she’s so happy to go see her friends each time. Mary Ellen watches a nice variety of sizes and breeds, so she’s exposed to all kinds of dogs, which is helpful for the real world. I literally don’t know what I would do without her. We love Wag Along!
Mary Ellen is amazing, I’ve been trusting her with my dog for a while now. I recently used her for boarding, and she went above and beyond when taking care of my dog. I had to drop off my dog right after being injured and Marry Ellen took her with out hesitating. She gave her her meds and cared for her like I would have. She even sent me frequent updates and pictures to help ease my anxiety. I truly don’t think you will find a more caring pet sitter in the Portland area!
This is the second time I’ve boarded my dogs with Lynda. I have confidence they will be safe and loved just like at home. I appreciate her great communication during their stay when I call to check in, and highly recommend her as an awesome dog sitter.
We took our dogs for an "evaluation" before we boarded them. To see if they "passed", they told us that our German Shepard totally "shut down" when she was with other females. Didn't even try putting her with males. So they (two Chihuahuas had other issues" They never once suggested that the get German Shepherd should not be near our beloved and therapy dog Morgan. Who was obviously a female....I told them that the German Shepherd and Morgan can't be together. They claimed they were dog professionals...the very next day, our German Shepherd killed our precious Morgan, in 8 seconds....thanks....

My dog came home happy and exhausted after his first weekend. Just Like Home cares, is fun for my dog and reasonably priced for me.
They do no offer the services that are advertised on their website, where clear sizes and descriptions are printed. When I brought this up, the reply was "No, Thank You" and hung up, not offering any explanation. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
Great service and all dogs there seem happy and healthy.

My wife and I LOVE taking our dog to RDR West Linn. They do such a good job of taking care of Daisy, and offer wonderful perks and activities each month (we especially love the photo shoots) that make it so special to come here. The staff is always friendly and professional and maintain excellent communication if any questions or concerns come up on our part.
Reynolds takes very good care of my dog who has special needs sometimes. They seem like they truly care and listen to my directions for her carefully highly recommend them. This is the Reynolds in West Linn.
Someone recently recommended this location, specifically, for doggy day care & boarding - this location & the Tualatin location are really close to each other, but the West Linn location has an outdoor play area with artificial turf (no/less dirt/mudd/mess when the rains hit). My 1 1/2 year old pup has gone 3 times for daycare, loves it, staff is GREAT, & pup sleeps SO GOOD nights after going! Definitely recommend!
Kodiak has been going to Reynolds since she was 4 months old! She loves it and they love her, it’s been a match made in heaven for the past year and a half and we’ll continue to go here in the future! They even take cute pictures on holidays with the pups :)
Yesterday was Phoebe and Gus Gus first daycare visit. The staff was friendly and professional. All though phoebe didn’t acknowledge me the whole way back home I know she will adjust. Clearly she’s use to being with mom all day. Thanks covid. I can’t wait for our second visit next week. I know the dogs will love daycare once they get in the routine.
The employees care deeply about my dogs. They were quick and efficient even during a rush when I came to pick up my dogs. I appreciate them managing my dogs and will definitely be bringing them again.
What happened?!?! Service is WAY down in this location. it's a 15-20 min wait to drop off and pick up my dog now, when before it was in and out in 2 mins. Familiar faces are gone, there are far fewer people out front and they always look stressed and overworked. I suspect new management and cost cutting which is terrible for customers.
First time we use pet boarding in the US as we just could not be happier, great place to bring your dog, we even got an update with picture. Gijs had a great time will definitely bring him more often
Trustworthy boarding and daycare facility. The girls are always so sweet and you can tell they care about all of the dogs that come through. My german shepherd was always anxious while boarding until I found Reynolds Dog Resort. He now comes home happy and tired and has a blast playing with the dogs and in the water there. Highly recommend.

We just boarded our dog Remy for more than three weeks at Reynolds Dog Resort @ the West Linn location. As a result of that recent and stellar experience, Reynolds has our highest recommendation. We feel confident that staff took the best & most compassionate care of our dog possible, and we will always board our dog at Reynolds going forward. During his boarding, he developed some health issues that had nothing to do with his boarding at Reynolds. Wasting no time, Reynolds staff took him to his own vet for assessment and prescription. Although we were in Europe, Reynolds staff called us whenever necessary with updates on his health status, and finally with a report that his issue had resolved and that he was doing well. We opted for the Trailblazer package which got him out in a well supervised play yard several times a day with a manageable number of similarly sized dogs. We could see from the daily videos of the Trailblazer FaceBook group , that he was having a great time engaging both with the other dogs and with staff which allowed us to relax and enjoy our travels knowing that he was in good hands. He's happy to be home in excellent condition, and we are grateful to Reynolds staff for taking such exceptional care of him.
I am beyond impressed with how organized and friendly the staff is at Reynolds. They also took time to text me updates on how my pup was handling her first day at doggie daycare, and when I picked her up, she was very happy and excited. She also happened to be there on her third birthday, and the staff signed a card for her and took the cutest birthday picture of her! I highly recommend this place, and feel very reassured that she is in the best hands at Reynolds!
Our dog, Moose, is a regular here and visits a few times a week in most cases. The staff is awesome and Moose loves visiting the people and resort. We’ve had such great service and our dog comes home well exercised, happy, and tired. I also really appreciate that our dog doesn’t come home smelling terrible. Reynolds has been a game changer when it comes to play time outside and socialization while my wife and I work. Being in single dog family I think the Reynolds operation really plays a big role in why our young dog is so happy and healthy. We’ve been sending Moose here for quite some time now and they’ve been amazing for us and our pup on many levels. We commute from aways out and the experience is worth it. If you need an excellent place with a great team to care for your dog then Reynolds is totally worth a visit.
We used Reynolds Dog Resort for a long term boarding while on vacation. The rates were very reasonable and the amount of activity and playtime my dog got was amazing! My dog is a very playful, friendly husky mix who needs lots of running time and loves snuggles. She was engaged, active and very well stimulated. The personnel took amazing, personable care of my 3yr old dog and she was a happier dog and seemed to benefit from additional training once I brought her home. Love this place and trust them with my dog for short term day care and long term boarding.
Our standard poodle Clifford always has a great time at Reynolds Dog Resort for boarding and daycare. It’s a relief to have a place where we know he’s safe and having fun while we’re out of town. I highly recommend Reynolds!

Our little dog, Bebe, was anxious when we took her to doggy daycare at another place. We are so glad we found Reynolds. She looks forward to being there and is happier overall. The regular schedule and large outdoor area are the right mix for our dog.
I wish I could give Reynolds Resort 10 stars because of how great they were/are with my dog. It also helps they are located so close to my house! They took their time getting her comfortable and not pushing her and she ended up having a really nice experience. Jackson (manager), Haley (dog trainer)and Rachel (scheduler) are all absolutely wonderful people, so caring, kind and genuine, I cant say enough good things abut these people. My dog, Ophelia, and my family family cant wait to work with Reynolds more in the future for doggy day care as well as overnight stays when we are out of town. Wendy saved us during our vacation to visit our kids. We brought our dog, but he and our son's dog didn't hit it off. She was able to take our dog in on very short notice, and he had a blast. She is so kind, helpful. She helped save our trip. Kristi McDonald
I can’t say enough good things about Petlandia!! Wendy and Nate are so patient with my nervous pup, Roo. They are amazing about checking in; both throughout the day while he’s at daycare and weekly just to bring up occasional behavioral/health concerns. They both obviously care so much about each individual pup, and tailor their care for each dog’s needs! The Petlandia set up is so fun, and highly enriching for an adventurous pup. We only use their daycare services, but they also offer boarding/daily walks which I’m sure we will look into for future needs too! Grace and Roo 🩵 Petlandia!
We were so nervous about leaving our puppy, other dog, and two bunnies for a week over the thanksgiving holiday. We had Bailey come house/pet sit for us, and could not have been happier! Not once did we feel uneasy about our babies being well taken care of. Bailey was extremely communicative, sent us updates and pics daily, and made us feel completely at ease about not being there. I have used Wendy’s services for both daycare and overnight care and I cannot say enough great things about her! I have a bit of an anxious pup who doesn’t really like playing with other dogs and has separation anxiety. Wendy has done so much to go out of her way to make my dog feel comfortable and cared for. It's not easy to leave your dog when you know she is anxious but Wendy makes it so much easier with frequent texts and photos and by being so gentle and accommodating!

I highly recommend without any hesitation." That was my review from over a year ago, one dog ago. Now we have Oakley, a much younger and more energetic head strong girl who is so very well cared for by Wendy and Bailey. They have so much patience and insight into dog behavior. They use positive skills to coach our little one even when she doesn't want to be coached. Consummate professionals, they leave the dog and home in excellent condition with clear communication and frequent photos to let us know how our sweet one is doing when we can't be home with her.
Petlandia Pet Care is legit just the best. I’ve been working with them for 8-ish years and they’ve consistently been professional, communicative, and helpful. Additionally, words truly limit me in expressing my appreciation for their flexibility now, and especially during the pandemic, as my work schedule was unpredictable and changed constantly. When I adopted my Abbey girl, she was super beat up and had clearly experienced some trauma. Now my sweet girl is an arthritic senior pup, who continues to enjoy her unconditional love and pets and walks and treats with the folks from Petlandia. Thank you for all that you’ve done and continue to do for our pibbs!
We love Wendy and Petlandia Pet Care! I am so happy we found Wendy to take care of our pups when we are out of town. Wendy clearly loves dogs and she always takes such good care of our two pups. Petlandia is awesome! Wendy is awesome! I did daycare at Petlandia with 2 Shetland Sheepdogs and a Shih tzu. One of my shelties was very shy and scared of new things and people. Wendy worked with Tori and formed a bond with her very quickly. My Shih tzu loved the whole area to explore and play with other pups! She always had the best time. Hunter my older sheltie found his comfy spot and napped. My pups had a week stay with Wendy at Petlandia. I trust and love Wendy like no other dog care person!
Petlandia is wonderful! I have a pit bull/ heeler mix who often has issues with new people. Wendy took the time to get to know her and she is now officially on my dog's best friend list.
