We loved looking after Ziggy, he is adorable. He is full of energy and personality which makes him a fun dog to look after but he also loves to chill out and cuddle on the couch. He is a very affectionate, gentle dog and a quick learner! Dan was very welcoming and organised with our stay. He really cares a lot for Ziggy but was very hassle-free and trusting of our judgement throughout our sit. The house is a close walk into the beautiful town of Canterbury and located in a quiet neighbourhood close to parks and walking trails. Dan and Ziggy’s house has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. We look forward to coming back! Take care
We absolutely enjoyed our experience at Lauren's house caring for Ruby and Molly. We had a great time playing outside with the girls in the big backyard. The beautiful trees provide a lot of shade. We also enjoyed walking the dogs in the friendly neighborhood. Lauren was thoughtful, organized and easy to reach throughout our stay. Molly and Ruby are affectionate and lovable. This sit is highly recommended and hopefully we will get to see them again!
We had a ball with Pickles at Zeva and Jaggu’s place. Their home is beautiful and comfortable in a great location by the beach. Pickles is a gorgeous and energetic young cat so never a dull moment. We’d gladly hang out with Pickles again 😀
Juniper is a sweet, talkative kitty that loves company, although often just to nap in communion. She does require some playing being an indoor kitty, but she has all the necessary toys and gadgets to do so easily. She is indeed as soft as she looks! Sage was straightforward and easy to communicate with and left ample information regarding the place and in case ofs. The pool across the street is a wonderful perk!
Very welcoming and friendly hosts. The pets are low maintenance but so enjoyable to spend time getting to know. All instructions were easy to follow. The house is functional with efficient use of space. Filled with art and charming details. Fully equipped kitchen. We felt very safe and made use of all the transit connections at Seven Sisters as well as the buses right at the end of the road. Leah even left us a welcome note and selection of treats when we arrived. Never expected but very much appreciated! It’s fun looking at the colorful fish tanks. Chas was very shy so we mostly saw him coming and going from the rooftops. For travelers, it’s really nice that he hardly uses the litter box but does his business outside. Scooby and Cutie were absolutely adorable especially when having their tray of fresh veggies and herbs. We were quite sad to say goodbye to them! Thanks for having us! Highly recommend to other sitters.
Fantastic sit! Laura and Wendy are warm and welcoming and made me feel at home. They have a nice guest room and were very sweet offering coffee and to have me help myself to food in the fridge. They even fed me dinner right when I walked in the door the first night! Obie and Alan were adorable and I enjoyed all my time with them. Thank you for the great stay! 🐶♥️🐶
