Cat Sitters in Lily Lake, IL

Our Border Collie mix and Australian Shepherd loved their week with sitters Danielle and Tony. My husband and I are so grateful for the superb care and attention our pups received — including outdoor exercise and indoor playtime sessions that kept them physically active and mentally stimulated. The photos and updates Tony and Danielle shared with us each day were much appreciated, as we could see that our dogs were so relaxed and happy! We returned to a clean and tidy house. While we certainly hadn’t asked or expected them to, we were pleased to discover they even laundered all the linens they used. We look forward to inviting Danielle and Tony to stay with our pups again, and highly recommend them to anyone seeking reliable, conscientious, trustworthy, and caring sitters.

Shaina was a great sitter for my cat Lionel. She was great with communicating before the sit and was willing to come meet me in person before the sit. She also kept me updated throughout the sit, with photos and little notes. When I returned home the flat was tidy and Lionel seemed happy!

Veronica came for the third time here for the long Labor Day weekend to pet sit my beloved fur babies. As always she was extremely thoughtful, reliable, and attentive to every detail both for taking care of both my home and my beloved pets. To add to her credit this time she also took care of my new puppy Hope, 4 months old, and both her and her daughter gave him a ton of love and all the attention and structured routine he needs. She also sent me several picture and video updates to tell me how it was going. Communication was super easy! I came back home with the house tidy and clean and my pets all super happy and relaxed. Laura was an exceptional, reliable, and loving sitter for our goldendoodle Scout, and took such good care of our home! Scout was excited to meet Laura immediately when she arrived at our home for this sit, and showered Laura with all the hugs and kisses. Scout has recently been having issues with seizures, so for this sit I was specifically looking for a sitter who had a depth of experience with giving medication and responding calmly in the event of an emergency. It was a big relief to be able to entrust Scout to Laura's capable and kind hands, and it was extra special that Laura's beloved vizsla had shared the same name. Laura is wonderfully easy to communicate and coordinate with, and was thorough in her care of our home. We came back to our garden looking great, house left in even better shape than I left it to Laura, and a very happy Scout! I cannot overstate how much we appreciated Laura's care for Scout and our home, and heartily recommend her as a pet and house sitter. If you're lucky enough to get on Laura's schedule, your pups will be with the most wonderful stand-in dog mom you could have hoped for!

Ruth house sat for us over the summer. She was great. She made the effort to come and visit us beforehand so she could learn about our pet routine and the house. She’s lovely - completely reliable and trustworthy. And wonderful with our puppy and old grumpy cat. I’d highly recommend Ruth

Tania and Jon took excellent care of our dog and cat, who are both quite finicky and sensitive. We were amazed at how quickly the pets warmed up to them and it seemed like the pets themselves were on vacation with Tania and Jon. We could feel confident that both pets were well taken care of during our time away. They were also very communicative with us the entire time, and our home was just as clean as we had left it. We highly recommend Tania and Jon to watch your home and pets!

Bharath took such wonderful care of our cats Lucy and Linus, as well as our home. We live in a somewhat rural area and he was so self reliant on finding things to do and friends to make. My neighbors were aghast that we’d let a “stranger” stay in our home but by day 2 they were singing his praises as well - they even had him over for Christmas dinner! He sent us pictures of the cats almost daily. When we got home, our house was immaculate and the cats ignored us because I think they missed him. I no longer consider Bharath a petsitter, he’s a friend and I wouldn’t hesitate for 1 second to have him come stay again

Yvonne and Scot were great. House was clean when we came home but, more importantly, they took great care of Boo. We could tell this by the daily pictures they sent of Boo, usually sitting on Yvonne's lap. Boo was happy so we were happy. We hope to use Yvonne and Scot again.

Kelly was a great petsitter for our two boys! We were abroad and got plenty of updates and pictures, making us feel secure while away. She is communicative, reliable, and caring and it was clear our cats loved her. It was a seamless experience and we are grateful for her care while we were on our trip.

Kristen was a great sitter for my cat, Yumi. She was very easy to communicate with, shared regular updates and left the house tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!

Andy is excellent in every way. He is easy to communicate with. He adjusted his schedule to meet mine. He followed all the house rules, and the house was very clean when I got back. Most importantly the dogs were well cared for and happy. One of my dogs got sick and made multiple messes. Andy took care of it all without any complaints. He is the most compassionate, considerate, and friendly sitter.

Sydney was a good communicator from the get-go. A few times she reached out before the sit to double-check on a few pet care questions, which I appreciated. My puppy prefers to be outside and Sydney was willing to spend a lot of time outside with her (as well as sleeping with her)! We would be happy to have Sydney stay again.
