We had the wonderful pleasure of taking care of the gorgeous Barley, and Ru & Marisa amazing home for 6 weeks during summer. We instantly fell in love with Barley. He’s such a good natured loving pup, full of energy. We quickly developed a daily routine which including walking up to the nearby bakery where Barley was rewarded with bacon by the owner while we supped on our coffees. There are plenty of good walks around the area, including Trinity Hill where Barley could run and run. He loves meeting other dogs, especially if they are in a playful mood. Ru and Marisa’s home is comfortable and in a stunning location. Ideal for exploring the Jurassic Coast and the many pretty Dorset villages with Barley. We had great communication with Marisa, prior and during our sit and would gladly return if invited.
If you read the review from the previous house sitter, you'll get a perfect picture of how nice this sit could be if you are lucky enough to be selected. Cambridge is a wonderful place to visit and everything you need or want is within a walk, uber, bus or train station away. And this home - just gorgeous! The back walls are windows to the garden so the outside is inside with birds coming by to visit and bathe in the fountain. Branston (dog) and Abbey (cat) are the icing on the cake. Very loving and sweet. We even took Branston on a few of our escapades and while he was very good, you'll need to watch what he may put in his mouth as he is ever on the hunt for a treat. He was loving to all people and animals. The home owners were very conscientious of our comfort and always a text or call away, if needed. Five stars and lots of gratitude for the experience and their trust!
There are not enough words to describe how perfect and special sweet baby Wilson is. To say that we fell in love with him is an absolute understatement. Both Wilson and the home itself were a warm, beautiful and cozy experience... especially during this season - the holiday spirit was such a sweet thing to be around! :,) We miss Wilson already, and look forward to hopefully caring for him again in the future! <3
Sara was called away on urgent business to attend to her elderly parents. Not knowing when she would return Sara took her beloved Corey with her. Although we did not have Corey to look after Sara graciously allowed us to stay in her lovely cottage in Kippen. We had numerous communications with Sara during this time although we would have loved to have met them both. We highly recommend this house sit to future applicants.
Nikky and Toms pets are adorable. Buddy is great to take on walks and very entertaining the way he leaps around and finds lost balls, that I lost for him. Merlin likes to be stroked and scratched behind the ears. Both great companions. Instructions left for me were easy to follow. Highly recommend to pet sit for buddy and merlin
We had a great time in Dunmanway while on our sit in Aga's home. All the animals were very easy to look after and were very independent. Aga's home is very comfortable and cosy. Communication was very good from the start. Aga's home is a little bit of paradise in a very senic are of west Cork. We would love to return in the future should the opportunity arise.
