Kyndal did a great job caring for my 2 cats. One of them requires a daily pill and can get anxious about it, but Kyndal was willing to get creative to make sure she got it everyday. The house was nice and tidy when I got home. I’d gladly have Kyndal come again!
Maartje is a great host and Sok is just a perfect cat. very sweet, independent, and has his own mind about everything :-) he was fun to be with and the house is just beautiful and very welcoming.
Lovely, gentle cats and a great, quiet home in West Bridgford where there is so much to do. Delightful to watch Thor and Loki playing in the garden. Communication with Stephanie and Nick was very enjoyable and kind. Easy access to restaurants, cafes, sports, supermarkets, etc. Would definitely recommend.
Sally was a very kind and generous host, who shared lots of helpful information about the pets and the local area, so I could fully enjoy my stay in Oakham and feel confident in caring for her lovely pets. Isla and Isara were a joy to be around. Isla is a very sweet dog who immediately greeted me with enthusiasm and was a loyal companion on the sofa as I worked on my laptop. She loves food and getting treats, is well behaved on walks and enjoys fetching toys in the garden. Isara took a few days to feel comfortable around me, but once I gained her trust she became very affectionate and enjoyed sleeping in my lap. She enjoys her supervised time in the garden, but does need to be closely monitored so she doesn't sneak into the neighbours garden. I would thoroughly recommend sitting here!
Looking after Basil and the cottage was a real treat! We had so much fun exploring the beautiful nature with Basil. Falkland area is truly magical. Basil’s a very well behaved dog and we loved playing with him a lot! He enjoys his walk around the house, but also enjoys exploring the unknown. The cottage was very tidy, cozy and comfortable and Cate and Andy were absolutely wonderful hosts. It was lovely talking to them before the sit and our communication was great while they were away. They are very warm and went the extra mile to make sure we have everything we need! A beautiful encounter. It was a pleasure meeting them both and Basil! Highly recommended sit.
Perfect sit! Brittany is one of the sweetest, most welcoming homeowners I have come across on THS. I had the opportunity to meet her in person. I would have guessed I was her 20th sitter with how amazingly she had everything prepped. Truly made me feel so welcomed & comfortable in her beautiful home! She even asked what I was hoping to get out of my visit to Portland and sent over recommendations accordingly. I ate at some amazing restaurants that would not have found without her recs & enjoyed a great waterfall tour also based off her rec. I could go on and on, but just know this was a great experience, I highly recommend and would definitely go back. Banksy is the sweetest pup ever! He loves bear hugs and will give you plenty. He was super easy to care for, very low maintenance. He likes short walks & eats around dinner time. Care instructions were provided which made everything super easy & if I had any questions or concerns Brittany was very quick with her responses. She had amazing communication. The location is a short drive from downtown Portland. I found it to be perfectly located to the city because you can still enjoy the quiet neighborhood and be in the city in a few minutes. Thank you Brittany for such an amazing experience!
