To us, Yvonne's home in Benicia was a beautiful, tranquil sanctuary, where we got to enjoy long walks on the waterfront and cuddle and play with cute kitties. Heaven! Yvonne was a terrific host whose attention to detail and prompt, enthusiastic communication was most appreciated and certainly enriched our time with her and her beloved kitties, Sunny and Spooky. Each cat has its own personality and demeanor; with Sunny being shy and reserved, and Spooky being playful and engaging. What impressed us most about this dynamic was how supportive and respectful Yvonne was to the individual needs and wants of each of her cats. She has created a blissful, safe sanctuary for her beloved cats to live and thrive in; individually and together. Bravo! We felt honored to have been part of this experience and highly recommend it to all!!
This was a wonderful experience! Jon and Sandy were very helpful, welcoming and nice people with good stories to tell ;) We enjoyed a great evening meal on our arrival day and they showed us everything. It sounds like a lot of work but the animals are very easy to take care of because they are so relaxed! We loved Monty (the donkey) and Daisy, Poppy and Leyla were all very sweet and well behaved. The environment is very quiet and that was perfect for us since we work from home. There are a lot of cute villages to go to if you stay in Belabre and Poitiers was great to visit. We would really recommend this house sit experience! Thank you very much ;)
May was very responsive and provided me with a detailed care plan for both her home and pets. Both these aspects made house sitting for May extremely enjoyable and stress free. Beetle, Apple and Stripe are all very affectionate and friendly pets!
Kris is very welcoming, and her house is pristine and uncluttered. Her cats are very independent and we only saw two of them during our visit. Only one of them came in for affectionate pats. It was the easiest cat sit I’ve ever had, and at Kris’ invitation, we enjoyed some of the delicious strawberries and tomatoes from her little garden. We had a very enjoyable visit.
