We had a great stay at Lara and Adrian’s with their dog Chase. They have a lovely home with lots of space in a nice tree-lined neighborhood. Even though we were in the city it didn’t feel like it, yet we were close to all the stores, restaurants and right by City Park. Chase is a wonderful dog who loves his walks around the neighborhood but most of all a ride out to the dog parks. He’s very well behaved and so sweet and cuddly, he was really a joy to care for. I highly recommend this sit for anyone who has the opportunity.
Nuria and Santi were the most hospitable hosts I've encountered on THS so far. They left me plenty of space for my things, invited me to stay a day before and after the sit, and offered dinner. They even left me a little Christmas/birthday treat basket. They left very clear and thorough instructions which always helps a lot. These are some of the best hosts you'll have. The flat is extremely cozy and well located in the cute area of Leith. The bus right outside will take you to the center of town, or Portobello beach! Walking to town is also only 40 min. Miko is absolutely adorable. Very playful, and extremely vocal. I recommend ear plugs because he definitely has a moonlight witching hour, which is extremely amusing but might keep you up haha. I used a white noise app on my phone and was totally fine. Miko is absolutely well behaved, and very interactive. He loves to go out back on his leash. I was sick my entire three week stay unfortunately, so spent a lot of time watching Netflix and Miko was wonderful company. He loves to cuddle... And kiss! I had one door issue in the beginning of the stay. Santi and Nuria were easy to reach, and handled it right away even as it was in the evening. Their communication is top notch. So, long story short, I highly recommend this sit. Nuria and Santi appreciate their sitters, will be there for you in an emergency, and Miko is the cutest cat ever. Right in Edinburgh! 5 stars.

This was a really enjoyable sit. Hamish & Monty are lovely little personalities. Hamish will be your adorable shadow, who is honestly so well behaved on walks around town (recall is excellent), and enjoys cuddles and the beach so much. Morven's home is drop dead gorgeous, right next to the seafront so swimming is very convenient and the walk down to the pier is very pleasant. Morven wrote a great welcome guide and I ended up having a minimum numbers of questions. She was also very contactable throughout the sit. All in all 5 out of 5. Would love to sit for Hamish and Monty again any time. I miss them already!
You couldn’t wish for a more lovely couple as hosts and two of the most amazing cats in Jessy and Ray. We were lucky enough to be chosen by Roger and Paola and we had the most fantastic time in beautiful Lucerne. Jessy and Ray are the most beautiful, well behaved, gorgeous cats who kept us entertained and in good company. The apartment is in the most picturesque part of lucerne with the lake just a 5 minute walk away. We had many picnic lunches there and just punched ourselves at how lucky we were to be chosen. The city of lucerne is a 30 minute walk away or 10 minutes on the bus. If you are lucky enough to get this sit you are in for an amazing time. Nicest couple ever. Thank you again for your hospitality and friendship Roger and Paola. We look forward to seeing you guys again in January xx
Fantastic location in Vancouver, close to beach and activities. Maui was great. Loved playing with him he had lots of spunk. Lots of petting and love bites but nothing hard just playful. Same with his claws. Enjoyed being outside with him for supervised outdoor time. House was as described. Communication with Patti was prompt and efficient. Would do this sit again. Thanks Patti.
