Sitting for Marie was a wonderful experience and one that I would repeat in a heartbeat. She's very well organized, considerate, flexible, and an excellent communicator. Her two cats are adorable though quite shy so best to speak to them gently when they appear and initiate a bit of play with the balls and the laser pointer from a comfortable distance (for them). The accommodations are perfect in a great downtown location and very walkable to attractions and shopping, with a very comfortable bed. Highly recommended!
Sandy was a great host, her dogs are adorable and sweet, and kitty loves head rubs and food. Hissy, the kitty, snuggled into me when it was rainy, which was the cutest thing ever. The dogs love running around on the beach that is a 15 min walk from the apt. They also love snuggles and treats. She picked us up from the airport, drove us back to the airport, and gave us her car to use during our stay! She also treated us to dinner the first night. Her apartment is in a gated community - it’s beautiful, it feels like you’re staying in a Spanish resort. It’s very well decorated with artifacts from all over the world that reflect her interesting well-traveled life. The patio is spacious and great for working from home. The ultimate remote working location with cute pets to play with. We loved this housesit and will be back to help again!
Del and Martyn were ideal to House sit for. It was my first house sit through trusted house sitter and they were so welcoming and friendly. Also very helpful leaving clear and easy instructions. Huw and Hettie are gorgeous and so loving. Straight forward to look after. I miss them already. The house is great. Lovely area of Cardiff near lots of shops, cafes and parks but hidden away in a quiet cul-de-sac. I highly recommend house sitting here and would love to go back 😁
Cathy & Walter have a beautiful house and it was a joy to stay with Maisie and Aretha! Both pets are loving and affectionate, pretty much right away. I especially had a lot of fun walking the trail behind the house with Maisie every morning and seeing the eagles, the Nookachamps Creek, and the mountains. (And they let me borrow their boots for the muddy bits.) I happened to be there during tulip festival time, which was a real treat! It was great to see how connected Cathy & Walter are to the neighbors - they know everyone and neighbors were quick to help if I even hinted I needed it. Everyone had tons of great suggestions of what to do in the area, but it's also a great house to sit and work or read a book. I really enjoyed my basement room, the super nice shower, and the light in the mornings. I'd love to come back, and would recommend it to anyone! I can't say enough how much I enjoyed my time there.
April was so sweet from the first day. She’s a loving little lady, loves to play with her toys and getting lots of rubs. Diego was very communicative and kept in touch with me whenever I needed. The apartment is very comfortable, just blocks from the subway so getting around the city, or to the airport was very easy. 😊
Katelynn and Daniel left me well-prepared to take care of Maple and Soot for the week, including clear directions for Soot’s medicine and food schedule. I had a couple of questions to get started and they were very responsive and helpful. Maple and Soot are both the sweetest cats, very affectionate and always ready for a cuddle. The house is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood outside of Baltimore and was easy to find, and it was a cozy experience to hang out with the gals during the week. Great experience for my first sit.
