Sitting for Ben in lovely Sherborne Dorset was an enjoyable experience. Ben is a character that's for sure loves his walks and food and was good on walks off lead. He likes a fuss and cuddle when watching TV. Virgina and David are a very hospitable couple I arrived in late afternoon the day before and was welcomed with a nice meal. This also helped to get to know Ben. David's information manual for the sit is excellent. Sherborne is a very nice town with some nice independent shops as well as some high street shops.The Abbey is well worth a visit. It was an enjoyable sit, which i would definitely do again. Highly recommend this sit.
Jennifer and David are so welcoming and trusting, their cottage is super charming, with some nice country roads to walk out on and well connected to a lot of Cornwall, especially beautiful Bodmin and not too far from the coast. Amazing Wi-Fi for home workers, but no phone signal FYI ♥️ Luna and Nyx are wonderful cats! Nyx is super friendly and with a few treats will be anyones best friend, he was particularly keen to hang out in the evenings and curled up on the top of the sofa while I watched films in front of the fire ♥️ Luna likes her own space, but is a very sweet girl and once she’s found a nice nap spot gets super sleepy and cuddly. I usually found her upstairs somewhere quiet - she took a liking to the bath mat that I laid out on the bathroom window sill 🤷🏻♀️♥️ Thanks so much for letting me stay!
I had the absolute pleasure of taking care of Nathan for a few days while Mary was on holiday. Nathan is a very happy, friendly and treat-loving dog. He is a pleasure to walk with, and loves to show you around the neighbourhood :) Mary has a lovely home with great views, and was an excellent host. Very communicative, with clear instructions provided regarding Nathan as well as the apartment. She even left me breakfast and a real Dutch 'chocolade letter'! Thank you Mary for trusting me with Nathan, and hope to stay in touch.
Vanessa and Grant were great! They opened their lovely home to us for a weekend and we got to spend it with their lovely pups Seb and Rudy. They even left us some breakfast items, which was very appreciated. The dogs are so sweet and cuddly. True good boys! The home was cozy and comfortable. Vanessa and Grant gave clear instructions, and we had a great line of communication. They gave accurate descriptions of the two pups, as did Karen, a previous pet sitter in the reviews. Knowing that we needed to be conscientious around doors and food with Seb, everything went smoothly. Seb can be a little more anxious than Rudy, but really the boys are easy and just want love and company. This was just a weekend trip for us, but it was perfect to explore Melbourne during the day and come back to puppy snuggles on the couch around their dinner time. The house takes a little time to commute from the airport and city center, but it is manageable. Vanessa and Grant worked with us on organizing a smooth arrival and departure. We highly suggest this house sit!
