I sat for Kim, Steve and Eric for a couple weeks in November. We were fortunate enough that I could come to the house a month or so before the sit and meet everyone. I was immediately made to feel very welcome and warmed to Kim and Steve straight away. They are very friendly, kind and communication before and during the sit was excellent. Their home is beautiful and so relaxing with everything you need (and more!). Chipping Campden is a beautiful cotswold town and is ideal for having a coffee during the day or visiting one of the many traditional English pubs for a drink and something to eat. There are also a range of excellent local shops. Now for the star of the show ....Eric :) He is such a lovely playful dog who enjoys his routine including a couple of walks a day at the local fields close to the house. He loves his ball and this makes the walks very enjoyable and lots of fun watching Eric playing with the others dogs. If you want a sit with lovely hosts, a great location and a lovely dog, then I highly recommend this sit!
We had a lovely time sitting for Buddy. Miranda was extremely hospitable, we arrived the night before the sit to have a meal with Miranda who we found very friendly and the details given were excellent. The house is beautiful and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Malmesbury is a beautiful place, a gorgeous village with many picturesque walks to take Buddy on. Buddy’s behaviour was superb! He is the most loving dog and so well behaved
Nice house on the bay with beautiful sunsets. Josephina was easy and pleasant to deal with. Tesla is a great, fun dog who loves to play fetch and brings the ball directly back to you. It was a great sit that I highly recommend.
Beautiful apartment and kitty! Woody was the strongest personality cat I’ve seen and soo shiny! He is an aggressive cuddler if those two words could even go together hahah. Bharath and Renu were great and made the process easy. Parking was surprisingly easy for the area. Go hang with woody!
We are delighted to have met this beautiful family and to have had the opportunity to take care of their 3 beautiful puppies. The hospitality of this two doesn’t have limits. The communication with Grainne and Bobby was excellent, they explained and showed everything we had to do, mainly the Oisin injections that we thought would be difficult to apply, but Oisin is a love, super calm and well-behaved doggy, as well as his beautiful brother (Cu Chulainn) and lovely sister (the princess Jordan) who were very loving and with whom we loved to share our time. A totally recommended family, we hope to meet them again and help with anything that they need. With all our Love Vale and Agos.
We had a lovely weekend with sweet Birdie. We visited Nancy before the housesit as we were in the area, for a brief show around. Communications with Nancy were good before and during the sit. Welcome guide very helpful. Care and routine for Birdie was super easy. Nancy answered our questions immediately. Birdie the rescue can be nervous, especially sudden movement and sounds. Birdie is the sweetest and most placid dog we have looked after in a long time. She bonded quickly with us. She does not beg or look for food. Birdie has enrichment toys to enjoy. Birdie slept quiet at night in her bed, in our room and had no urgency for an early morning toilet visit. She likes her own space but came for cuddles on the sofa in the evening. Birdie loves her walks in the neighbourhood, she was easy on the leash most of the time. She is always kept on the leash, as she is still in training. Birdie was not fussed by other dogs, cyclists, traffic or runners on our walks. Birdie does not go in a car. It was raining during our stay, so we were not able to take her to a local cafe/restaurant etc, so we cannot feedback on how comfortable Birdie is in these environments. Nancy's Condo is modern, tidy and clean. Everything for a comfortable stay, including, kindly buying a kettle for us tea-drinking Brits lol! An efficient Air/heating system. A Standing fan was really appreciated in the guest room. Great tv entertainment. There is a front patio to enjoy, a community swimming pool and tennis courts. The location is truly walkable! We found a great river trail to walk Birdie nearby too. The Grocery store, diner (excellent), many food outlets and Target, are all walkable. Bicycle and scooter hire nearby. Regular bus service to nearby towns like McLean/Tysons Corner, and the metro. The Pentagon Metro stop is 3.5 miles away. Reagan Airport 7 miles. Recommended for a cosy, leafy, walkable stay with a very sweet dog for company. We would be very happy to come back again if we returned to the area. Catherine & Rob
