I really enjoyed getting to know Shannon. She was a little slow to warm up, but was a wonderful companion when she did. Shannon loves to be brushed and it was a very interactive experience. She also loves food and had a timed feeder. Watching her sprint to the feeder when the food dropped made me laugh every time. Suzie's home is in a rural area. Roosters greeted the day and the humming birds were fun to watch as they pollinated the many flowers. The gardens were a pleasure to water and care for. Her home was clean and felt safe. The internet is listed as basic and was slow but I was able to get my work done. I would feel honored to sit for Shannon again!
Sally has a home that is wonderful.Every thing you could possibly need whist sitting for her. 2 cats who are shy,but beautiful. they needed some reassuring that all was well and food would be on time.cuddles too if they would have liked. This was an amazing sit for my husband and I. Oliver is one of our favorite dogs ever! He honestly was so easy to care for and bond with. He is very well behaved, affectionate and entertaining. We couldn't have asked for a better pet friend to look after. Jenny was so easy to communicate with, very organized, generous and considerate. The home is a charming adobe with a really great vib near downtown that we thoroughly enjoyed. All things considered we had a fantastic time!
I had 8 wonderful days in Strandhill with Bruce. Siobhan, Bruce’s mom, Lives in an immaculate tasteful home in an idyllic spot. Bruce is like a three-year-old child. Just wants a ton of cuddles. I was happy to oblige! The time flew! Wish I was still there! Thank you Siobhan!
¡Staying at this beautiful home was an absolute pleasure! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Anne and Alan, they made us to feel right at home. Penny, Sadie, Rafa and Pepe are obedient and very sweet, you become instantly attached to them. Rita and Robin are a bit more independent, but Robin still loves cuddles and Rita gradually grows fond of you. All of them are absolute joy to care for, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!!
Taking care of Filbert and Kima was a joy!  They are beautiful and sweet dogs- wonderful companions for an Alaska adventure. Emily’s home is beautiful- well equipped, and very comfortable - I particularly enjoyed the gorgeous back deck and garden. Emily took the time to give me a very thorough orientation before the sit started, and was great at communicating throughout my stay. A beautiful and comfortable home from which to launch some south-central Alaska adventures with wonderful pups!

I have used Just Like Home Boarding several times for my two dogs over the past year and highly recommend them. Selena takes wonderful care of my dogs and I never have to worry when they are with her. She will send pics of the dogs on a walk or just hanging out and is always responsive to my texts or calls. My dogs have some medications that they take nightly and she does not have a problem dispensing them. She loves the doggies and I know my dogs love her too. Five stars!
Selena has been great with our dog Mochi! We’ve now been working with her since early 2022. She made time to come meet Mochi at our place so we could get a feel of how our dog would connect with her since he was still only about 3 months old and hadn’t gotten much socializing. We’ve now been working with her since early 2022 and our dog immediately gets excited when he sees her. We have used her services for day and overnight care. As first-time dog owners we were concerned about how he would react to an unfamiliar place but Selena is friendly and caring with dogs and kept us in the loop about how he was doing. She’s close to some nice dog walking areas so Mochi gets some stellar views on some of those walks. I would highly recommend her to any dog owners looking for someone to take care of their four-legged family members!
Selena has always been a great host for our doggie, both daycare and boarding. I appreciate how much time she spends with the dog(s), taking them on multiple long walks a day, with trips to the beach and/or dog park.
