Evelyn was wonderful and I appreciate her care. She came before my travel dates so that we could chat and get to know each other as well as her becoming acquainted with Paddington and Amelia. She took good care of my home as well. In the past I have received texts from my sitters but Evelyn only replied briefly to my text to her. I had hoped she would leave me a note about her time here in my home with my two furries. I have always appreciated the feedback. I trust her time here was positive and pleasant.
It was an absolute privilege to be chosen for this house sit and I enjoyed every moment of my week here. Kylie is great to communicate with and made me feel very welcome in her home. She provided a comprehensive “Welcome Guide” and personally showed me everything I needed to know when I arrived. Set within 3.5 acres this property provides privacy and peace with a tranquil, leafy outlook across the rear yard to the horse paddocks beyond. It sits on the edge of town but is within easy walking distance of cafes and the high street shops. Surrounded by lovely gardens the house itself is warm and cosy and feels like it has stepped right off the pages of “Country Style” magazine. It has been stylishly renovated and furnished and is a very comfortable home to spend time in. Narni and Danny, the two horses, largely kept to themselves wandering around the paddocks in unison. However, each day they wandered up to the horse yard for their daily feed of treats which gave an opportunity to check on their health and to give them some pats and attention. I loved watching the different breeds of chickens as they scratched around in the garden and enjoyed dust baths under the hedges. They had a great hen house where they laid various coloured eggs. Each day around the same time they would gather back at their coop so they were easy to put away for the night. The inside trio were very easy to warm to and care for. Sammy and Maxy, the cats, were the greatest of friends and adoringly often snuggled up together. However, they also enjoyed some alone time with me when they indulged in individual attention which always elicited appreciative purrs. Rewarding for each of us. Arlo, the Miniature Dachshund, made his way into my heart on the first day and I miss spending time with him. He is quite a character who is well-behaved, affectionate, obedient and easy to walk on the lead. He adores the time you spend with him playing with his ball and I was impressed how he always brings it back to you and drops it between your feet ready for the next round of retrieving it. I would recommend this sit in a heartbeat.
Inca, Boss and Hugo were a delight to sit for. Paul’s house is lovely and tucked away in a beautiful gated neighbourhood right next to Chobham Common. We enjoyed long walks with Inca and Boss and lots of cuddles with Hugo. Paul was a fantastic host and easy to communicate with. We would definitely sit again any time 😊
We very much enjoyed our stay at Sara and Hugh’s beautifully peaceful home with fabulous Fizz, their adorable Birman cat. We really appreciated the warm welcome and lovely evening together before their departure. Sara was well organised, communicated quickly and provided all the information we needed for a relaxing stay. Looking after Fizz was an absolute delight. He was amenable to any amount of grooming and is every bit as gorgeous as he looks in the photos!
This was a wonderful sit near Perranporth looking after Otter & Moose in Louise & Alan's beautiful tranquil home. Otter & Moose were the stars of the sit. They are such well behaved dogs and are a joy to take out and be with. They are super loving and settle down well. There are walks all around the property, but the walk along the Saints Trail up to the beach was our favourite. The bed is super comfy with lovely laundered bedding. Best sleep we have had in a long time. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay and more. Nice welcoming pub nearby and shops for essentials within a mile in Perranporth. Louise & Alan were wonderful hosts and if you are lucky enough to sit for them you won't regret it. Thanks again, we are missing our new friends already.
Had a wonderful time hanging out with Penny in Kentish Town! Penny is the sweetest and most loving little puppy and so easy to take care of. We had so much fun going on walks in the park and just hanging out at the flat. She has loads of personality and is such amazing company. Victoria was such a kind and considerate host. She made me feel right at home and made sure everything was super easy. Penny and Victoria's flat is an absolute dream. Right near Kentish town high street and walking distance to Camden Town and London Zoo, as well as Hampstead Heath. I had such a lovely time staying there and I miss little Penny so much already!
Caroline and Dailey were fantastic hosts, providing great amenities, local recommendations, clear communication, and extremely kind. Thor, Maxine, and Judith were a joy to watch. We had lots of fun, laughter, and cuddles together. The backyard garden was absolutely incredible to enjoy every day as well. I would love to watch the kitties again in the future if the opportunity arises.
