Sarah loved on our pup! She made sure he had plenty of play time, took him to the beach, and even got him a treat from Starbucka. He was very happy and content when we got home, as if we had never left. She left the house tidy and clean. Her communication was great, giving us details of each day. She is welcome to come again.
Sona and Paul were my sitters over the Easter period. My cats had a wonderful time, as the were brought presents brushed and spolit with attention.I was sent regular photos of them which was very comforting. My house on return was left tidy and clean. They even did the dirty bed linen/ towels laundry for me.
I had a wonderful time at Mario and Sarah's home. I arrived a day early and they kindly showed me around their neighborhood, and we went out for food and drinks. Their home was very comfortable and in a quiet, very walkable neighborhood. Their pets are amazing; Boris is the biggest, sweetest cat I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. The two dogs, Lulu and Melvin have wonderful personalities in those tiny bodies. Pittsburgh is a fantastic city and this sit allowed me the time to get to know it better, providing ample ability to venture out to different neighborhoods, parks, stores, etc. I highly recommend a visit and I would sit for Mario and Sarah again in a heartbeat. They were great with communication if I ever needed anything or had any questions. Wonderful people and creatures all around.
I absolutely loved my time with Sabi & Radio - they're wonderful dogs to spend time with! I met Sashka & Mark the day before they left so had a really good orientation of the house and the dogs. Sabi is a sweetheart, who loves cuddles - on arrival, she found her place on my foot and leaned on me so I knew I was accepted! Radio has an exuberance & joy for life - he's a doggy pogo stick! Both slept on the bed with me at night and next to me on the settee. They were easy to look after, needing time in the garden each day rather than walks (although I took them for 2-3 walks a day). Sashka and Mark were lovely, with excellent communication and handover notes from Sashka. Their home is a beautiful brownstone in Brooklyn, just 10-15 min walk from either Nostrand or Kingston-Throop on the A and C lines. There's lots of eating and drinking options nearby.
You will fall in love with Safin as soon as you meet him. He will love you back unconditionally in exchange for unlimited scratches. He was super easy to care for, and thanks to Kirsten’s instructions we knew when to keep an extra eye on him (this good boy LOVES water). Kerstin’s home is a peaceful retreat in the hills of Kalamunda. It’s surrounded by nature, peace and walks Safin knows very well. It was funny to see him taking the shortcuts during our daily walks, to catch a break from the sun and the slopes. There are wild roos living up there, we got lucky to see a few! 🦘 We miss Safin and his company already ❤️ Like every sitter before, we really enjoyed this sit and totally recommend it!
Looking after Bailey (the cat) for Jo and Stewart was a real pleasure. They have a lovely home in a very welcoming village in Cornwall. Easy access by train to Plymouth for day trips and there is a store up the hill in the next town (easy bus route) for essentials. Bailey is a great cat, affectionate yet independent, his only downside is that he's quite a good hunter (so not for the squeamish and I'm sure he doesn't see it as a downside). Jo and Stewart were very friendly when I met them just before leaving. The village is surprisingly active for its size, and on a weekend both pubs just a few steps from the front door are usually busy. The valley is beautiful and there are plenty of nice walks.
My children and I had a great stay in Bloomfield! Aislinn and Ryan are a super friendly couple, with a lovely home and Willow and Izzy are a hilarious pair! Full of character, ‘the girls’ (as we called them!) are also full of love. We thoroughly enjoyed giving them lots of cuddles. The house is in a great convenient location in the County and has such a serene and calming view out the front of the house. It’s a very child friendly house, but not overly ‘kidified’, so I would imagine those without kids would feel very comfortable staying there as well. We enjoyed lots of delicious tomatoes from their garden too, which was fab for some very yummy and easy lunches. Ryan and Aislinn were very communicative, responsive and helpful when a few things came up. A lovely first TrustedHousesitter experience on the sitting side. We would be more than happy to sit for this family again.
We enjoyed our time with Hector and Basil; they are both very affectionate, curious and spirited (especially Basil). We enjoyed nice long walks east and west along the Thames as well as the local parks. The flat is very comfortable, light and spacious with great views; it was super convenient to access public transportation so we were able to explore London quite easily. We were lucky that we could meet with Chris and Jon before their departure; they gave us detailed information on taking care of the doggies and they kept in touch even though they were continents away. Saying goodbye to Hector and Basil was hard as we were smitten with these two very lovable and cuddly doggies. We were very happy to be selected and would return in a heartbeat!
