Prime Pet Care are excellent! A reliable and well ran service, really know dogs and felt comfortable straight away letting them look after and take care of our young dog. June looked after your dog from when he was just a small pup. Once he got old enough he moved to doing two walks a day with Alan. Can't recommend these guys enough!

I have followed Prime Pet Care for 11yrs and although I don't live local I value the expert advice given over my cat Teddy. June and Alan are very experienced. I had the pleasure of June's company at Crufts last year and saw for myself her love of Dogs. Their knowledge of breeds and behavior is essential, and is reflected in their care and advice. Prime Pet Care have been walking and pet sitting for Tilly our 7 year old labradoodle since she 6 months old and she has loved every minute!! I can not recommend Alan highly enough for his professionalism and fantastic manner with her, family friendly and reliable. We’d be lost without them!

Gillian has been walking my two dogs for over 6 years - since they were puppies - and has never once let me down. She is very reliable and it Is clear that she loves the dogs and what she does. Even though the dogs are meant to be walked for 1 hour the dogs tend to be gone a lot longer which is great when you are working. Gillian always goes above and beyond. Highly recommend her.

Gillian is absolutely fantastic. She’s such a friendly girl and was amazing with Ruby. She really does care for your dog. She only charges you for a 1 hour dog walk but Ruby was always out far longer which makes you feel a bit better if your out at work. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Gillian is absolutly Fantastic with my Staffy, helped her feel more confident with other dogs and even got Penny off the lead without running off, shes great with all the dogs and Penny always comes home shattered and looks forward to getting picked up by Gillian the next day.

Hazel looked after our Springer Spaniel Lacey while we were away on holiday. We were nervous to leave her behind as Lacey can get overwhelmed with new places and dogs but she fit right in. Hazel made sure to update us with lots of photos multiple times a day which made us feel right at ease - we could see how much Lacey enjoyed her holiday (especially stealing Fara’s bed)! We will definitely use Hazel again in the future.

Our 12 year old rescue dog, Brooke, spent a couple of nights here in August 2024 and loved her stay. We were a little worried beforehand as Brooke has only ever stayed with family but, honestly, we shouldn't have been at all concerned. Hazel views each dog's stay as their holiday and makes sure that they are integrated into the home, have plenty of walks and attention. We got lots of updates and photos to show that Brooke had settled and was enjoying her stay. Brooke is already booked in for a couple of additional dates following a successful stay :)

This is the second time Yogi has stayed with Hazel and family and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. I have always felt so comfortable leaving our dog Yogi with them and look forward to the daily updates and photos. You can see truly how happy yogi is when he is there. Your dog will be treated like family at the bed and bone dog home boarding and we love that. We are so grateful to have such wonderful people look after our fur baby while we are away.

Hazel looked after our dogs while we were attending a wedding and they couldn’t have been looked after any better! She sent me loads of photos and pupdates over the weekend and I could see they were happy and comfortable. I would highly recommend using this business as your dogs will be in safe hands. Rocco and Freya, both Spaniels, had a fantastic time on holiday with Hazel, Malcolm and family. The whole experience went very smoothly from the initial meet and great, trial sleepover and holiday time. I could tell from the initial meeting that Hazel and Malcolm both love dogs and made such a fuss (and friends) with them very quickly. Hazel was great at keeping me up to date with all their adventures on their walks and chilling at their house on the couch! Really a home from home experience! They had a fab time and got on so well with their dog, Fara. I would fully recommend Hazel - 100% and Rocco and Freya are so looking forward to their next holiday. Thank you both so much, it allowed me to relax and enjoy my holiday!

We boarded our two golden retrievers in September and could not recommend highly enough ! Our dogs were loved and cared and it was a joy to be away knowing they were being so cared for. Hazel and Malc have such a well run professional caring business and I will be using their service again for sure

Phoebe came to stay with Hazel and family for 3 nights, it was her first time staying away without us so I was a bit nervous but was put at ease immediately, from the meet and greet beforehand, dropping her off and lots of lovely photos and updates over the time we were away! I will definitely use Bed and Bone again it’s so nice to know she is being well looked after in a lovely home environment, when we picked her up although she was very excited to see us it was also lovely to see her obvious affection for Hazel so a big thumbs up from Phoebe too.

We felt from the outset that Hazel and Malcolm would take great care of our dog - they were kind, caring and very conscientious, asking all the right questions and meeting her (and me!) before she went to board with them. Our dog is a bit of a velcro dog, and we certainly felt she was well looked after and loved during her stay. We got lots of photos which was really reassuring as Vesper looked like she was having a great time!

Highly recommend Bed and Bone Boarding. Hazel is lovely and took care of my dog like he was her own. Lots of walks, pictures and updates. I have already rebooked. My dog loved his stay ❤️

Heidi loves her time with this family. They treat my dog like she’s their own and Heidi never wants to leave. They take her great walks and I get so many fabulous updates which makes me feel confident that she’s in great hands. Heidi and I are so grateful for them and their excellent service.

Absolutely amazing service! We left out 8 month pup here for 2 weeks and he didn't want to leave! We were kept up to date with pictures on Facebook, and could tell he was really happy there. Karen is absolutely lovely and provided an incredible service, not to mention how reasonably priced it was! Couldn't recommend Barking Mews enough.

Absolutely great. Cats well looked after, cattery was clean and comfortable. The fact that you are able to take their toys, scratch posts and beds makes them more relaxed. Cannot recommend Karen and her family highly enough. Best animal boarding facility around

Poor customer service. I got involved in a debate with Barking and West Lothian Council. All claimed I should have read the terms and conditions. I believe our dog has a continuous cover with her vaccines as do multiple vets. I was given the payment details before I received the booking form. In fairness to Barking, they are following the guidelines given. So my disagreement is with WL. However, a promised refund was never given so poor customer service.

Our wee cat stayed her for a week or so and he was well looked after. He came home happy and healthy. We were lucky to get the cat a place as they are very popular.

Absolutely lovely kennels. Great spacious gardens where the dogs can exercise and fabulous owners that treat your dog as their own and give them loads of love. Seeing the Facebook photos is also a great way to see how much fun your dog is having on their holiday. Highly recommended

I have been bringing my cats and dog here for sometime now and I'm always happy with the level of service I get from Karen and co. I know my pets are in good care which is a big relief. Excellent service and good facilities all round for my four legged friends.

We have been taking our dog off and on for years and can't fault anything, you are made welcome, as if it was just yesterday you had been there, our dog loves going there and she knows exactly where to go and she always goes happily. I would not put her somewhere where she was not happy to be.

Training with the Lothlorian team over the last few years has been the best thing I have done for myself and my dogs! Especially when it has come to training my little dachshund. Training has opened her world up so much more than I imagined and I love watching her thrive

As a dog trainer it can be hard to find good practical upskills, but I have attended two courses at Lothlorien recently and loved them both. Claire's style is funny, no nonsense and conversational and each time I have come away with lots of new things to think about. Oh and thanks to Heather for the tips on teaching a reverse middle! Will be back in 2025 for more! 🐾

Having completed some training with Lothlorien before, they were my first choice when I got my new puppy. The information and training I received has massively improved my relationship with my pup. Claire was fantastic at personalising what we learned to suit our particular circumstance and ways we could expand on what we learned beyond the classes. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lothlorien to anyone looking to learn and improve their bond with their dog through training.

For the past year my dog, Benji and I have been going to Claire's Dog Club... I cannot recommend this highly enough!! Benji loves it, I love it. Each week we work on learning new skills and training new behaviours. Claire is such a fantastic trainer and really gets you thinking about every aspect of your relationship with your dog. Claire was great and really helped our reactive dachshund gain confidence. It was great to have her support and feel like we were approaching training in the right way. Highly recommend the Walk and Train service and looking forward to starting classes!

We used the Walk & Train service for our dog and I can’t thank Claire enough for the help she has given us to not only understand our dog better but also provide us with the tools to manage his behaviour and give him the outlets he needs. We felt really supported with the ability to have constant communication with Claire and she provided us detailed weekly updates and personalised training plans. In the space of just two short months, he’s like a completely different dog and we feel more confident on walks with him. I would 100% recommend Claire and Lothlorien to anyone looking for dog training.

Joined both puppy and then juniors classes with my puppy Poppy. Classes were great and we learned loads. Poppy got to meet other pups and had a blast. Heather was our trainer for both classes and she was great. We’ll definitely be back for Focus classes.

Claire took time out of her busy schedule to help us with our rescue boy who was experiencing high levels of anxiety. He wasn't connecting with us, and we weren't getting through to him at all. Once the training was underway, there was a sea change. Almost immediately, he was more engaged with us and looking to us for guidance and approval. Steadily, using the techniques and thought processes we learned from Claire, our boy has just become happier and happier.

I can’t speak highly enough of all the trainers I have been involved with at Lothlorien dog services - Claire, Heather and Gillian. As a first time dog owner I took my dog to puppy class, domestic dogs and juniors class and I fully believe that my dog is the way he is due to the fantastic skills I was taught at Lothlorien. I learned how to build a foundation and develop a strong bound with my dog. Claire is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of dog handling and I found her knowledge invaluable. I would highly recommend Lothlorien to anyone looking for an experienced trainer!

Amazing puppy classes for my little pom Fudge. We both thoroughly enjoyed them and they've given me more confidence as a new puppy mum. Claire is super knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have (and I always have loads haha!). Will definitely be joining the junior classes next to continue our training with the added bonus of socialisation with the other dogs! Thanks again!

It wasn't there to use the facilities but to purchase a machine tool, my wife enjoyed her chat with Mairi, as we have rescued lurchers and this facility has plenty of scope to care for your dogs, with a safe area to let them run free.

Dogs loved the time there. First time was a little hard to find the field but once you know where your going its fine. Love the small pen to drive into and let dogs out of car before and after the field run. Will go prepared with towels to dry the off or in my case ill take some water and towels as my lab decided to roll in the only mud patch, which had been covered to reduce this bit he moved the cover and rolled before I got to him. He was happy but muddy. Field was well kept, grass cut and didn't come across any one else's dogs poo!

Mairi is great with all the dogs and treats them all as if they were her own highly recomended 🙂 …

Good sized secure field to let the dogs run free

Unfortunately, my dog was involved in an ‘incident’ while in their care. I spoke with bark n fly on the phone at 12pm 7th of March while at work and was told that a dog had ran over to mine and had bitten him on the ear (“nipped”) and there were some marks left underneath his front shoulder. We were told that he did not need picked up early and was fine after the incident as he was acting like himself. I was told it was up to owners if they wanted to opt for stitches on the ear or let it heal itself but to possibly get some antibiotics from the vet to avoid infection. I had booked my dog into the vet just to be sure. I was told the dogs had been separated and that the other owner would be told about the incident. I was also told that it would’ve been my dog that would get moved groups in future as he had been placed with the larger dogs. When I arrived to collect my dog, he came limping down the steps and I initially was looking for the cut on his ear when I noticed there was a major cut on his leg. After seeing my dog close up I could tell he would need stitches at the top of his leg and there would definitely be no ‘owner choice’ in regards to his wound. The worker told me he had been asleep for the last 2 hours which is very out of character for my young beagle and he has never done that while at day care before. I told the worker that he clearly needs stitches and they looked at his wound and addressed my dog and asked him if he had been “licking it while I wasn’t watching”. No amount of licking could have caused the open wound on his arm, I had no response to this and picked him up to go to the vets. I could see that my dog had been bitten multiple times and this was not a result of playing. I had to lift my dog to the car as he refused to walk any further and I left in tears. After taking my dog to the vet, they could see that he would need stitches and booked him in for the following morning. He had to be injected with antibiotics and painkillers, wound cleaned and given a cone to stop him making the cut worse. My insurance covered the £550 vet bills but I paid £160 excess for his injuries. In his procedure he had to get 3 different lots of stitches. After seeking a dog walker, they also had a look at the injuries and described it as he had clearly been mauled by the other dog. I was not told that the other dog who had done this would no longer be allowed to attend the daycare and I also feel upset that their owner will not know the extent of the incident and will not hear the final outcome. I had no confirmation about what had been said to the other owner. I wish that I had known the extent of his injury and I would have collected him straight away and taken him to the vet rather than him being hurt and left for 4 hours. Since then, Bark N Fly told me that they would pay me back the excess amount of £160 which took 2 months to receive back. I am only posting my experience now as although I stopped using their services I feel that other dogs owners should know about my dogs experience using Bark N Fly.

We've used Bark n Fly's services several times now and have been impressed each time. The gentleman that does the pick up is always kind and patient, and when we went to the place in person the staff were also helpful. We thought the facilities were impressive, too. Our dog (pictured in our local park) is very nervous of people but Bark n Fly assured us she'd be okay and have been most professional. I would absolutely recommend them if you need your dog cared for.

My pup Daisy loves the day care facilities at Bark n Fly. The pickup/drop off service is really handy. Daisy recently stayed for just under a week in the boarding services and had a great time, I appreciated the pictures of her playing and living her best life! Will definitely keep using Bark n Fly and highly recommend

This is the first time we have used kennels for our two dogs Winnie and Mylo, Dawn and her team were great and helped us get everything organised for their stay. Winnie is a typical outgoing wee white fluff ball but Mylo is quite a nervous dog but they were so good and caring with him and the genuine affection shown by Abby and the other staff helped him relax, come out of his shell and enjoy his stay. This was our first time using the boarding service at Bark n Fly. When we picked our Westie Mara up after a wee, she tried to run back inside the building - so she must have absolutely loved it! Staff were friendly and gave some nice feedback on her stay. We will definitely use you again when we go away.

20 min waiting for someone at reception and nothing. Looks like I will lose my appointment at 10am due to not being able to leave my dogs for care. If you leave your dog here make sure you have enough, more than enough time. Looks like a nice place but no one at the front. Edited review - Don’t know how to reply to the “lies” I called - someone said would be there soon (disregarding the las two, dialled by mistake) so yes, there are calls. Be aware that someone answered so this is not a lie - perhaps you don’t know the call is registered on the callers phone. I was there at 9:22 with one of my dogs outside - took the picture because I knew this would be contested. So, yes, I did follow the instructions given in the door and yet nothing. Again, looks like a nice place but give yourself plenty, plenty of time and maybe someone will be at the reception.

Fantastic day care and boarding centre. Very friendly and helpful staff, and super convenient pick up / drop off service. When our dog was a puppy we really liked that we could get her acclimated to being away by starting with a half day at day care, progressing to a full day, and then to overnight stays. Our dog always loves her time there and comes home very sleepy from all the playing!

The Bark n Fly is amazing! They’re services are great! They picked up and delivered our dogs and both drivers were friendly, helpful and so patient with Ruby and Leia! We also could follow them on Instagram and check how much fun the dogs had playing around! They arrived home very happy (and equally exhausted because of the great time they had). I have no words to express how grateful we are to have found such nice people to take care of them while we are away 💙

We have a very active 18 months old GSP, who has struggled with home boarding so decided to try Bark’n’Fly. The team were very knowledgeable and gave us great advice on how to help her adjust to staying overnight. Coco has now been going for 3 months and her separation anxiety is gone! She recognises the staff and can’t wait to play in the fields with all the other dogs. We love checking Instagram to see if we can see a picture of Coco having fun on their account! I recommend the team and the set up, especially if you have an active dog, it’s great for them to be able to play all day

Miriam looked after our Cavapoo puppy Max for a week. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough. We had regular updates on Max throughout the week who was well looked after and cared for. We had complete piece of mind during our holiday. Miriam was great to deal with, she also provided us with a lot of useful tips and suggestions with Max going forward. She is very knowledgeable about dog breeds in general. Brilliant service and Max will be back for his ‘pawlidays’ again soon 🐾

Honestly what a genuine lovely lady miriam is although she was fully booked on the dates I needed she went above and beyond with lots of helpful information moving forward, recommend advice she gave, the amount of time she took out her own day to talk with me reassuring me and going threw option I'm so grateful for. I would highly recommend her service based on our own chat for the last 2 hours nothing was a problem if anything I have gained knowledge/ understanding of my own wee dog this lady is hands down a lovely soul thank you Tanya x

I have been using Bespoke Home from Home Dog Boarding for many years - the first time was just after Miriam started it all! Border collie Mac was just a young dog then and he was always well cared for and given that extra special love and attention that you want for your special pet when you have to leave them. We have had 4 different carers over the years and all have been excellent. We now have two dogs, 2 border collies Mac and Midge, and whenever we leave them, we are confident that that they are in safe hands and that they will be cared for as you would care for them yourself at home. Sometimes, it is hard to tear them away and bring them home, they have had such a great time!! Thank you! :)

Unfortunately she couldn't board my dog, but she spent a lot of time with me trying to help me out. A very helpful lady who gave her time when she didn't have to.

Bespoke Dog Boarding was highly recommended to me by my vet. I telephoned the owner of the company and we had a detailed chat about my dog and his requirements, also his daily routine. I was most impressed by the owner of the company and can tell that she clearly is very knowledgeable about dog breeds in general. I was concerned that my dog who is a loveable middle aged lab, would be home boarded alongside, for example, a "Staffie" but after reading these other reviews, I am delighted to say that dogs who some may consider as potentially dangerous breeds would not be allowed to board with Bespoke Dog Boarding. This gave me peace of mind. I then met with one of the dog carers, who fell in love with my boy straight away and vice versa. The carers home and garden was beautiful. We spend over half an hour with the carer and played with my dog in the garden. I could see how happy he would be if he were to come here for his holidays. I have now used Bespoke Dog Boarding 3 times this year already as the service is fantastic. The dogs receive 3 or 4 lengthy walks each day, loving home comforts, constant companionship and I also received updates during my holiday followed by a selection of beautiful photographs after my holiday, showing Bailey having a super time with another 2 dogs from different families. When I collected him, he didn't want to leave!!!! I have now highly recommended Bespoke Dog Boarding to all of my dog friends. I would advise others to make a booking months in advance of your holiday as they are usually fully booked 6 months to a year in advance by all their regular clients. However I have sometimes asked for a short notice booking and if they have availability they will take Bailey. To the team of dog carers who may read this, thank-you for providing me with total peace of mind and I look forward to using your service for many more years to come.

Used Miriam for my dog Bailies 14 years at least three times a year and couldn’t fault her. She dosnt take dangerous breeds which I feel is a great thing as it is only for the safety of our own dogs . I can’t beleive the below negative posts when thease people have even used the company because they didn’t make it through the strict criteria . Well done Bespoke for not taking any dog just to make more money . Fabulous service and genuine dog lovers .

Murdo has been looked after by Colin & Mary on several occasions. His second home, I have no problem leaving him and know he'll be well looked after with lots of walks and cuddles.

Eza and Tom looked after our Alfie for four nights and he had the best time. They sent us lots of photos and kept us up to day with how he was getting on throughout the week. We had complete peace of mind everything was ok which helped us relax during our break .

Amazing kennels this is our first time using them and our 3 fur babies were so well looked after for a week due to a wedding abroad. My two cockers love going to Gordon & Laura's kennels. He's been looking after them since they were 6mths old and they're now 5. Never any problems getting them fitted in. Whether for a day visit or two weeks. They get picked up and dropped off, all at a convenient time. He supplies the food we feed and they're walked often. Lovely clean, heated kennels. Thanks guys

I have now used Station View on three occasions and would have no hesitation in recommending the services. Our rescue dog is very wary by nature but Gordon clearly knows dogs and has a calm and reassuring manner. I can't honestly say Elmo loves going to stay at kennels, but I'm confident when he is there, he is in caring and safe hands.

First time using kennels for our dog Callie who stayed with Gordon for 11 days and from booking we felt she would be in safe hands. Kennels are very well appointed and clean. When we picked her up it was clear she was happy and in good hands as she had eyes for Gordon and his team only. Awful for us but great for Callie, thanks to outstanding care. Callie cried on the way home but settled into her home easily. Thank you Gordon for all you and your team have done to look after our precious girl.

Our Dog Henry was at Station View Kennels for a week whilst we were on holiday. Would 100% recommend Gordon and the team. Went to collect our dogs x2 dogs were smelling badly when came out of kennels , definitely to small for 2 large dogs , I know you will get a kennel smell but not like this was really bad , it’s like our dogs were kept in a lot of the times it’s unfortunate that you can’t see what goes on behind closed doors especially when your away , don’t think we will be back .

I am honestly struggling to put into words how highly I would rate Station View Kennels. We had a booking for 5 dogs for 16 nights whilst we were away on holiday, this was the first time we left our dogs but I can honestly say we will never use another kennels for our dogs. They were so well taken care of from the minute they were dropped off, and when we picked them up - they were so happy and ran back into the kennels! You can tell Gordon knows his stuff about dogs and really, truly cares about them. Unfortunately one of our dogs, Brodie, fell unwell whilst we were away and suffered a seizure which has never happened before. Gordon constantly kept us up to date about how he was recovering, as well as discussed the vet visit with us. Anyone who has left their dogs in kennels will know your biggest fear is when they fall unwell, unfortunately this happened with us but I honestly cannot praise and thank Gordon enough with how well he handled the situation. Truly the best care for our dogs & we will absolutely be booking again.

Feel totally confident that our dog will be well looked after. Gordon is so genuine in his care for the dogs. He is friendly and offers an outstanding service.

Absolutely first rate kennels, run by the friendliest person you’re ever likely to meet. We were staying in the area on holiday and as our two dogs are getting quite elderly we didn’t want to drag them around with us. Recommended by the campsite, we called Gordon and we’re lucky enough that he had some space. Quite simply a man who loves his job, and is infectiously cheerful, Gordon is a wonderful kennel owner. Our two dogs were glad to go back on the second day and Gordon was clearly very pleased to see them. We would not hesitate to recommend Station View Kennels or Gordon.
