We could not have asked for better House Sitters. A very pleasant and courteous couple, Jen and Dave cared for the house as if it were their own including watering the vegetable garden and potted plants. The house was sparklingly clean on our return. They were amazingly caring and conscientious with our chickens and our tortoise spending lots of time outside with them every day. They sent photos and updates daily on the pets activities. Communication before and during their stay was excellent. Whilst they were waiting for us to return on the last day, they did all the laundry, sheets and towels etc and remade the bed. Jen also made a tomato and Mozzarella flan for our supper which was very thoughtful and delicious. We would be delighted to welcome them back if they wanted to house sit for us again.
Meegan was such a flexible and helpful sitter, I wish there was a way to leave 6 stars!! Our plans changed at the last minute, resulting in a bit of a panic on our part, but she never batted an eye. The pets were clearly in love and if the pictures we received during our time away were any indication, they had as nice a holiday as we did. As clean as we had left the house, it was even more clean and well cared for upon our return. A nice touch too was the detailed report on the pets and our home that Meegan sent a few hours after the sit ended. This was a really nice touch. I highly recommend Meegan for future sits as she was flexible, caring and responsive (even when I wasn't able to be due to unforeseen Wi-Fi issues at our vacation spot!!).
This was our'Maiden Voyage' in trying out TH for our home and two dogs. We Feel incredibly lucky to have found Ellie and Tyler. For nearly 3 weeks, they managed and maintained our home, the lawn (yes even mowed it) and cared for and entertained our 2 dogs. We could not be more thrilled with them. Delightful, reliable and thoughtful at every task. I would have them back in a heartbeat. They also travel with their own mid-sized dog, Birdie, who was gentle, patient, playful and the perfect pal and mentor to our two smaller dogs.and like any dog/pet owner, they impressed us with their genuine love & attention to our dog's health and daily exercise routines...even taking them on a couple of short local hikes and outings. Thanks so much Ellie and Tyler. We appreciate your personal care for the dogs and relaxed & responsible care for our home. You both were such a blessing. We enjoyed knowing that our place and animals were in good hands. Best to you both and here's to more visits in the future.
