Our sit caring for Archer and Louie was just terrific! Archer is a gentle and well behaved girl who loves your company, her walks and drives in the car. Archer was happy to walk twice a day when the weather allowed, she walks well on the lead and is happy to walk longer walks up and down the Kiama hills. Louie is an independent boy, once he gets used to you he is then is up for lots of cuddles on your lap. Louie comes and goes at his pleasure and will let you know when he wants some attention. Robyn and Dennis are lovely people who made us so welcome in their very comfortable and clean home. We really enjoyed meeting them to share lunch prior to them heading off on their trip. A very detailed handover was given and there is also an excellent information book if you need it. We would absolutely recommend this sit and are hoping we can return in the near future. Such a great sit in a very comfortable home in an excellent location. It's very peaceful, with friendly neighbours. Go to the top of Lesley and Mike's pretty tiered garden and just take in the view! Sonny and Bunty are such lovable, affectionate cats who love a lap, both at the same time, if you've got your feet up. Really easy to care for. It goes without saying there is a lot to explore in the area! Lovely walks straight from the door, hilly area, mind you. There's The Black Horse Inn at the top, so, a nice walk downwards home.... A walk along the canal is just right if you prefer a level one, and if you base it around The Lavender Bakehouse you'll also get fabulous coffee and food. If you like pottering around antique shops the pretty town of Tetbury is within easy reach. Lesley and Mike are friendly and easy going. We had great communication with them before and during the sit. Thank you both. We hope to return :)
We just completed our sit on Piers Island with Maodao the 19 year old senior citizen feline who is resident at Ming and Michael`s home. It was a great experience , very comfortable home with cozy wood burning fireplace. This time of year the island is super quiet with many residents away. There is a great library/fire hall and very friendly,helpfull neighbours. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully Maodao,Ming and Michael found everything in good order. Cheers Don/Nattanya
For someone who is a psycho therapist, where is the compassion and positivity when writing a Review? If you have nothing positive to say then say nothing at all 🙏🏿 You have undermined my integrity, professionalism and care. I’m am very saddened, shocked and disappointed with your personal review. As a permanent house pet sitter I take my responsibilities very seriously and make sure what is asked of me I achieve to my best ability with diligence, passion, consciousness and love and kindness. I have only had good vibrations from hosts since starting this journey 6 years ago. Also stating on a review assuming private health issues again totally unfounded, this should not be publicised on any website. You were actually aware it was the hire car being too big for me that caused me to be anxious. The cat was sick when I arrived and was constantly coughing and sneezing but was assured the Vet had been informed and nothing the Vet could do. Of course this would contribute to her not eating as well as her sinuses were blocked. I gave her the food requested and it was always there for her. The bowls were sometimes cleaned twice a day. I would never leave crusted food out and not immediately change it 😳 Being accused of not feeding her is very upsetting and again unfounded. The floors and patio were cleaned daily. The upstairs patio was very dirty on arrival and so I couldn’t use that area. Below is a statement from one of my regular sits to reiterate my integrity, professionalism and positivity. I’m writing in support of Sandi who has house sat for us many times and has become a valued and extremely reliable support to our family. Her care of our dog, cat and fish allows us to go away without any worries and we know we will return to an impeccable house. Peter and Sarah’s pets are smashers! Paddy, the 12 year old Labrador, is deaf as a post and lovable as anything. Henry, the 1 year old, is still very puppy-like, but a full grown dog. He is a proper character and great fun to be around. The cats, Charlie and Lola, require zero maintenance, and are at their most excited when it’s time for breakfast! The chickens need feeding and cleaning out twice a week, but it’s not a big job, and in return they provide some superb eggs for your breakfast. They have their own little house where they need to be put away at night. The walks on the property and around are lovely, and there are some nice little country pubs to try. Sarah provided comprehensive instructions and was always available for a message or phone call, if required. As we left, we told Peter we would gladly take the dogs home with us, at the drop of a hat. We would recommend this sit without hesitation and would hope to return someday ourselves.
Housesitting for Kit and Mark was an absolute pleasure and really made my trip to San Francisco fantastic. They were both very friendly and communicative and made me feel very welcome and at home. Bird is one of the coolest cats I have ever met with a really lovely personality. Their home is in a very central location, I would highly recommend this sit.
