Sharon and Paul are the MOST resourceful pet/house sitters we have experienced and enjoyed in our first 13 months of using zeewoi. Sharon's communication was exactly as we had requested - one text message per day about how our Wesley was doing with maybe a photo or two. She even took the time to make a collage photo one day! Wesley was very loved on and well taken care of. Sharon and Paul tended to our flowers and plants as we had asked (which, during the heat of the summer, is quite a bit to ask but they kept all things flourishing!). When the washing machine would not work they did not reach out to us at first. They used their property management experience to troubleshoot what went amiss and fixed it themselves. They even left us a nice thank you note with a gesture of how much they enjoyed our home by leaving a lovely bottle of wine with the thank you note. We hope they head to Tampa again in the future - they feel like friends.
Stacey and Dave sat for us in early December while we were out of the country. They were kind enough to travel the day before so we could meet, get to know each other, and show all of the quirks re our two chocolate labs. They are smart and friendly, and we immediately were comfortable with them, as with our pups. To no surprise, they were exemplary—took perfect care of the dogs, were in touch frequently with updates and were conscientious and fastidious. Our house was in perfect shape when they departed. We would recommend them highly and hope to meet up with them again.
Liese was a great sitter! Communication before and during her stay was easy, and while we were away Liese kept in touch with lovely updates and photos. She provided all the animals with such attentive, loving, and thorough care. She exercised the dogs, gave them inventive and fun games to play, made sure all meds were given on time, and gave them lots of cuddles and attention. When we came home it was obvious that both dogs and cats considered Liese a member of their pack. Liese also did a great job of caring for the house. It was just as tidy as it was when we left - if not more so. I would heartily recommend Liese as a housesitter, anyone would be lucky to have her.
This was a really positive experience. Great communication throughout, an excellent handover of the home and animals and a nice supper on the afternoon before they left. A charming, very clean home, with excellent cleaning tools and supplies making it so easy to keep it like that for their return. The guest room and ensuite were very nice. The two labradors are a delight, so well trained and lovely. Kate showed us their favourite walk on the handover which was very helpful. Arthur the cat came in for food but otherwise did his own thing. The lovely garden area that needs watering is close to the house and is easy to manage. The local pub has excellent food and there is lots to do in the area. Very Highly Recommended.
