Cat Sitters in Lisbon, MD

Jean and Frank were fabulous pet/house sitters. They sent us frequent photos of the dogs, they were gracious about administering several meds as our dogs are older, and they took meticulous care of our home. We communicated frequently and I knew that Baily and Daisy were in good hands. I highly recommend them as pet/house sitters. They might come with their own dog, Leo, who fit right in and as a bigger dog, was kind and gentle with ours. We arrived home to a very clean house. Don't miss the opportunity to have Jean and Frank in your home caring for your pets.

This is Zack’s 2nd time sitting for us and both times he has been great. He was able to get an issue under control with our oldest dog and handled it like a champ. I Forgot to let him know contractors were coming to install solar panels but he was very understanding. He took good care of our 3 dogs and our home. He is welcome to sit for us anytime.

Batya and her sister took great care of our pups. Communication was good and she was able to work with us as our schedule changed multiple times leading up to the trip. Because she was traveling out of town with her dog and were unable to do a meet and greet prior to the stay, there were some unanticipated situations that made the stay more challenging, which she took in stride (mostly our boy dog being too friendly with her girl dog). I was very surprised that during a trip to the park, they had the car windows rolled all the way down with the dogs in the car, leaving Snoop able to jump out on a busy road. Luckily everyone was fine and we appreciated all of the updates and communication throughout the process!

I was really hoping for a smooth experience with Duncan's pet care, and while Duncan seems like a nice person, there were several issues when I returned home that I feel need to be addressed. First, I explicitly stated that I did not want guests in my home, but my neighbor—who, while being a bit nosey, is generally helpful—mentioned that Duncan had someone over without my knowledge. This was quite concerning, as respecting my home and rules is important to me. Secondly, the cleanliness of the kitchen was not up to par. When I returned, I found sticky substances on the counters, around the sink, and residue left on the stove. Additionally, two pots stored in the cabinet were stained with what appeared to be the same food residue that was on the stove – one was my cast iron skillet. Cleanliness is a basic expectation when providing care, and this left me disappointed. The most disturbing issue, however, was the handling of the litter box. I had to throw away my broom and dustpan because they had been used to clean up cat waste that didn’t make it into the LitterBot because it was stuck in a cycle. It was clear that one of my cats was forced to relieve themselves outside of the litter box, and the way this was dealt with was unacceptable. Finally, Duncan notified me of a broken doorknob, which I had to report to maintenance. I later found out that it appeared to have been pulled off rather than being worn down by normal use as I assumed when I received the text. While I’m not sure how this happened, it was just another frustrating issue on top of everything else. I'm generally not picky and try to be understanding, but these problems left me disappointed with the care provided. I hope Duncan takes this feedback constructively and improves these areas for future clients.

Jennifer is amazing. We couldn't imagine better for our cat and our home. She took great care of our pet in our absence. We heard from her every day by photo and video. Our cat was treated like a little prince and loved Jennifer. We found our house clean and tidy, Jennifer took good care of it. She was super organized. More than adorable, attentive and caring, she's the ideal person if you're looking for a petsitter. Our only regret: not having her at home for every trip. Thank you so much !

Margot and Dennis were wonderful house and cat sitters. They quickly bonded with our two kitties and provided them with lots of love and attention while we were away. They provided regular updates and photos. Margot & Dennis are a lovely couple who took great care of our home. I recommend them and would consider them again for future housesits.

Sharon was just a wonderful sitter. She has an engaging, positive personality and is full of energy. We were happy with the updates and photos of 2 content Goldens, whether on a trail or chilling by her feet. It is so wonderful to go away knowing your fur babies are loved and cared for in their own home. Will need to come up with a trip so we can invite this special lady back.

We couldn’t have asked for better house and pet sitters than Matthew, Jennifer and their daughter Paige. Matthew was communicative from the get-go and throughout the stay, it was easy to see our pets took a liking (loving) to them, and they took excellent care of the house. We have a skittish cat who gets extra anxious in our absence and he regrettably had potty problems while we were away longer than usual, so we’re extra grateful that Matthew went above and beyond with troubleshooting and clean up. Absolutely no reservations recommending them for any future housesitting gig.

Magda was the perfect sitter! She cared for Karl as if he was her own, and was reliably responsive to all questions and concerns I had when I traveled. When my return flight was canceled and I had to delay my reunion with Karl for a few days, Magda happily worked with my to get Karl to my friend’s place before she left. I would happily have her sit my dog again!

Antonella and Clay came for their second summer. Arlo immediately remembered then from last year. They are the dream house sitters. We could simply trust that everything was in good hands. Their communication with us was great. We hope they will come again. You couldn't find better sitters!

Anna and her two kids were amazing with our home and took incredible care of our pets. Our (sometimes cranky) dog loved them immediately, which gave me such a sense of relief! I'm so grateful to them for a great week where I didn't have to worry about anything back at home.

Ingrid and Jeremy were awesome! Very attentive and clean, would have them sit again!
