Bridget was amazing. Regular updates with photos of Rico, extremely clean, courteous and thoughtful. She was respectful of the house, and self sufficient. She played with him a bit every day and won over our rather shy, blind cat in RECORD time. We couldn’t believe he was already sitting on her lap after day 3. Knowing our little guy, this could have only happened through exceptional care, lots of play, good energy, and solid instincts about animals. She even left us a little welcome home note. Look no further :)
It was such a pleasure to sit for Samantha. She responds quickly and gave clear directions to find the place. Sweet Pooch was a bit shy but did come out and talk to me after a couple of days. The apartment is lovely and very clean! I would happily take care of Pooch again.
It was lovely to meet Simon and Ruth on the day of the handover. They are both very welcoming and generous and gave us full details of Lugo and Florences daily walks and their favourite places. Their home definitely has the wow factor and it's difficult to stop staring at the view from the balcony. However, it was Lugo and Florence who made this the perfect sit. They kept us entertained all week. Lugo is the more active of the two, is very playful and loves his walks and particularly swimming with Florence sometimes needing a little more encouragement preferring to go somewhere in the car. Both are very good at recall and walk well both on and off the lead and no problems with meeting other dogs. There are lots of places to go to for walks either from the doorstep or in the car. Towan beach and St Mawes castle were our favourite spots were Lugo loved swimming and Florence paddling. We are both missing our morning greetings and early evening cuddles. Thank you all for a memorable week.
A warm welcome by such lovely people. Mike and Di are energetic interesting and very kind hosts. The cats are calm and pretty much take care of themselves. Just need a little tlc and gentle reassurance. A beautiful and comfortable home and delightful garden full of produce. Anyone would be lucky to stay here.
I had a great time taking care of Amira and Sabrina. They were timid at first, but especially Amira warmed up after a while and then we had lots of cuddles and chats (she's very vocal :)). Sabrina wasn't cuddly, but she enjoyed playing with toys and keeping a safe space between us, which worked perfect as well. The communication with Ema was very easy and we chatted during my stay as well to keep her updated about how the cats are doing and if they feel comfortable around me. Emanuelles home is very beautiful, bright, clean and in a great spot to explore the CBD. South Melbourne Market and Flinders Station are just a 10 Min walk away. I can highly recommend sitting for Emanuelle and I'd love to do it again in the future!
