I honestly wish I could give more stars. Our pups were so happy with Sam for 2 weeks! She left our home spotless and a note next to a bouquet of flowers. She was great to talk with and put me at ease since this was our first time having someone we didn’t know stay in our home and care for our pups. Easy to communicate with and we are incredibly grateful that she stayed with our pups!
Timm was a good sitter overall and left my place super tidy and my pups seemed happy! He also stayed calm when the key to my unit stopped working, let me know, and at my request called a locksmith - so he handled that like a pro! My only two suggestions, is that I only ask my sitters to check in with me once a day, but I had to reach out for an update and it'd take hours for him to respond which made me anxious. I also asked to not let my pups interact with other pups while I was away - however I received photos from my neighbors of my pups meeting their dog, against my request. These were the only two negatives.
I had such a great time minding Boris. He is the sweetest little man. He took his time to get to know me, but once he decided I was cool, it was snuggles, sleeping next to each other, watching Yellowstone together. He required administration of fluids via needle. He handled like a champion. He loves to yell at you if he’s in the other room and wants you to come in and pay attention to him. We had chats on the balcony and watched the people go by. It was great. Lorraine was super lovely. Available at any point for any questions. The flat was fantastic. It’s right on the Highbury Field and walking distance to 2 tubes and an overground. Not to mention buses galore. It is a really safe, green, beautiful area. I really enjoyed walking on the high street eating at yummy restaurants, pubs and cafes. It’s also an easy stroll up to Angel if you want to keep shopping. There’s a mini Waitrose, mini Tesco and mini harvest nearby that’s super convenient. I absolutely loved my time with Boris and would recommend hanging out with this little man to anyone. Thanks Lorraine for your hospitality and a great stay!
