Dorian and John are just the best people and sitters! If I could, I would give them 1,000 stars! They loved Luna (who can be standoffish), took excellent care of our house, were easy to communicate with, and had a kind easy vibe that floated around the house after they left. We were so pleased with the service they offered to us. Thank you Dorian & John!!

Ronnie and Holly cared for my cats and house for over a week, and I could not have been more pleased. They are nice, pleasant people. They communicated with me regularly, and I felt completely confident that my pets were in good hands. I appreciated the fact that they understood my kitties as individual felines who are quite different from each other, and I could see that they were getting plenty of attention. Holly took my older cat for walks on his leash (something I don't often get around to). They kept up with the litterboxes, and were tolerant and understanding of Delilah's rather imperfect litterbox behavior. They also managed to keep up with the rather extensive plant-watering. Ronnie and Holly are very competent people in general, and I felt comfortable knowing that if something went wrong they would know what to do. In fact, Ronnie even fixed the handle on my microwave, which had been loose for a couple of years. I don't think anyone could go wrong with this duo! They are welcome back to my home any time!

The entire family stayed at my house. I can not begin to express what a great family this is. My dog was loved on and my house was immaculate when I came home. In fact, it smelled and looked better than when I left. They were all so sweet and I would love to see them again for any sit, or just to say hello. Great people, great family, great sit!!

Jane is not a recommended petsitter if you have cats or if you want the house to be treated properly when you are away. 1) When she arrived the day before our departure, she didn’t show any interest in the cats, I had to suggest her several times to interact with the kitties in order to make sure the cats were used to her smell. 2) She acted in a superior attitude when I was giving instructions about how to feed the cats or understand their routines. 3) Since the moment we posted the sit offer, we were clear about the simple tasks: feed the cats 3 times a day, play with them, brush them, keep the house safe and clean, inform twice a day about what the cats ate with photos and videos. Her level of communication was minimum by whatsapp. Example of messages “Nala has not appeared yet this morning”, “not much to report”, “everyone has eaten well”, “all well fed”, “too busy feeding, taking pictures and answering your texts” 4) When we arrived the house was dirty (her bathroom had not been cleaned at all, she had not vacuumed nor mopped the floor, the kitchen was sticky) the basic rules of the house were cleaning the floor, kitchen (to avoid ants) and I specified the products to clean bathroom/toilet before leaving. The minimum ALL petsitters had done in the past before leaving were cleaning the basic areas. 5) Two windows were unlocked, when safety issues were explained as a main concern. The biggest window with access from the street was not locked with the screw (anyone could have entered the house) and the window of the guest room was not locked with the handle 6) She never sent a message after leaving the house making sure everything was ok and telling us if the cats were ok. Conclusion: We could clearly see she doesn’t like animals, especially cats, she came just to have a free place to visit the area (which is a very touristic place, mainly this time of the year, when the accommodations are really expensive), she had a bossy attitude and was clearly annoyed by our explanations of how to take care of the cats and house, her communication was not fluid (I had to send a message asking her how were the cats almost every day in order to get feedback), she was a person that clearly did not care about the basic level of cleaning. The only thing she did was feeding the cats at least once a day. When we arrived the cats were really hungry.

Vanessa is the most diligent and reliable sitter we’ve met. We’ve asked her back to sit multiple times. Our pets love her and she keeps our home so clean while we are gone. 100% recommend.

Amy looked after our dogs for 10 days while we were away, and she was the ideal dog sitter and house guest. From the first time we chatted, Amy was warm, had great communication, and loves animals. Amy clearly communicated her arrival and departure details. During her stay, she was very considerate, responsible, and sent daily photo updates of our boys. We arrived home to a freshly cleaned house, and she even asked if there was anything we needed when we arrived back (as we landed around 2am). While Mars and Zorro were very happy to see us, Mars looked into the guest room to see if Amy was still there before going to sleep. I would highly recommend Amy to look after your pets and home, and I hope she will come back to our place many more times 🥰

Gina and JaJuan were five star sitters. Great communication from beginning to the end of sit. Arrived as scheduled and most importantly our little monster Luna loved them.

Cat did a great job taking care of our pets and home. She is very responsible, mature, and attentive, and she communicated well before, during and after the sit. The cats were well cared for, the house was clean and tidy with everything left in great shape, and the garden was well-tended - not an easy task this time of year! We were glad to have Cat stay here and she is welcome back any time.

I could not have asked for a better pet and house sitter than Anahita. She was so attentive and careful with my bunny and made sure she was comfortable and he would be safe before agreeing to sit. She was very responsive before and during the sit. And she left my place in perfect condition. She even washed my sheets! I’d be happy to have her back anytime.

Mona and David made it super easy to organize since they gave us full details of when they’d arrive and kept in communication with us throughout their stay. I’m glad we were able to both help each other out with accommodations and pet care even though our schedules weren’t perfectly aligned (I had to ask neighbors to come by to help out before and after their stay). The pets seemed well when we returned and our house was tidy. The only thing we had to clean up was some cat food that wasn’t rinsed out of the cans before being thrown into our kitchen recycling bin (which made it super stinky!) and some cat food that wasn’t wiped up off our island or kitchen floor. Other than that, appreciative of them looking after our pets and home! Thanks, Mona and David!

Jami went above and beyond in caring for both my home and my pet while I was away. She kept me updated daily with thoughtful messages and adorable pictures of my dog, which really put my mind at ease. Her attention to detail and genuine love for animals was clear from the start. I would happily welcome Jami and her sweet dog Vina back anytime. Highly recommend her!

Alisha and her daughter Kati were so amazing! They planned the sit as a mother/daughter writers retreat (I'm truly excited to read Kati's book!) They were able to come by the house before I left on my trip so I was able to give them the full tour - I really love when sitters make the time to do that. Oh! And get this! Alisha read my entire Welcome Guide before arriving which honestly blew my mind. During the tour, she asked about specific things that I mentioned in the Guide and we were able to cover her questions straight away. Alisha & Kati also showed up with all their food & supplies so they wouldn't have to leave to get them after arriving - that's so smart! Alisha says she does this so the animals are less stressed out. She really is a true professional. I ended up hanging out with them a little longer than planned because they were so awesome. When I finally did grab my bags to head out I noticed that Kati was sitting on the floor playing with my dog and cat - loved that! During the sit, Alisha gave me updates here and there - but I wasn't bombarded by them. They also were able to coordinate with us to plan the best departure time so the animals wouldn't be alone too long before Kenny and I got home. When we arrived home the animals were exceptionally calm and I swear the house was cleaner than we left it. All in all, they were the best and we would definitely have them back in heartbeat.
