Great first experience with this app! Thanks for the stay
Stuart and Michelle are warm, communicative and accommodating. They prepared a delicious meal the evening prior to their departure and explained and wrote down all important details of which I may need to be aware. Their house is cozy and quaint and has a lovely back yard garden with a view of the jagged peaks of the Pyrenees. Their dogs, Albi the male black and white Border Collie and Willow, the female blond English Settler are sweet. They are captivated with continual play and relentlessly keen on chasing a ball. I threw their balls for hours, amused with absolute pleasure at the dogs’ patterns of behavior and boundless energy. It was a very pleasant dog sit. Their home is serene and quiet, surrounded by fields. the town of Pau, with a chateau, is not far away with its own historical significance as the birthplace of King Henry IV.
Linda is a terrific host! She put lots of time and efforts into making sure that everything went smoothly. She is very sweet, warm-hearted, caring, and helpful. She taught me a lot about Marz and Mellon. Linda’s home is extremely organized, neat, thoughtfully designed, and inspirational. She even went beyond her obligations to generously share her fine collection of books with me, among which my favorite is Anne Carson’s Short Talks. Marz and Mellon are among the cuddliest and most affectionate and intelligent kitties I took care of, despite Mellon’s gentle scratches on my arm when he was sitting on my laps and belly. They were very understanding and emotionally attached to me, for which I felt grateful. To sum up, it was an inspirational, rewarding experience to sit for Linda. I deeply appreciate her time, input, and trust in me, and feel grateful to her for letting me care for her kitties and house and for teaching me so much. Thank you, Linda!
Emma and her family were very welcoming and it was a pleasure to look after Stella. The home was modern, spacious and organised and it was great to explore the Glen Eden area on walks with Stella!
I had a great time with Storm and Django! Spending time with the very well-trained dogs was an absolute blast! Storm and Django are lovely, intelligent dogs who beam energy and excitement. it was an incredibly memorable experience with lots of local walks and adventures. I would 100% recommend that anyone looking for a sit to apply here! Thank you very much to Marc, Sally, & co. for letting me stay at your wonderful home!
This was an awesome sit. Andy and Elly were very gracious and the pets were above and beyond charming and easy to care for. Having never experienced NOLA, we enjoyed our walks through charming neighborhoods starting just a few blocks south and into the market and The Quarter. A LOT of choices for things to do. We are compelled, in fairness to our Sitter Community, to relay just a few concerns. The neighborhood is a bit alarming, but we found it to be very friendly, and although the home is mostly tidy and kept, it needs a deep cleaning.
