We had a fabulous time at this sit. Karen and Richard are a very easy-going, friendly couple and communication was helpful and regular. The house is very spacious and comfortable and is situated in a very nice area, only minutes away from the local train station, with regular direct trains to London. Hampton Court Palace is a short train ride/20 min walk away and a must-visit whilst there.The local areas, shops and pubs are within easy walking distances and are charming. Local dog walks are very accessible from the house and Sage knows her way around very well! The animals are easy to care for and all is provided for their comfort and care. Sage the dog, is an absolute gorgeous bundle of fun and affection. She was very quick to get to know and to be comfortable with us. After a few local walks I was able to let her off the lead and her recall was great - helped with treats! She is very easy to be with and loves her cuddles on the sofa and her 'fetch' games with her numerous toys in the house/garden. Hazel, the house rabbit does not take much looking after; just feeding and cleaning up her pen. Sage does like to 'help' which can be quite amusing! The house has all that is needed and with the adorable fur babies to take care of - this really is a super sit - highly recommended. Thanks Karen and Richard for choosing and putting your trust in us - it was an absolute pleasure.
We had a lovely stay at Rachael and family's waterside Port Macquarie home. The animals were a pleasure to look after: Bruce and Gus are easy and well behaved, Priscilla the cat is independent and chilled and Harley the talking parrot entertained us with his amusing repertoire. Shops nearby as well as nice swimming beaches (need a car). Even saw some dolphins when we took the canoe out. Rachael left clear instructions. All in all, a great sit and highly recommended.
I had a lovely time caring for Rudi, and for Boo and Mouse too although i admit that I didn’t see them much. All my instructions were clear and easy to implement/follow when needed. The home was lovely too and is very centrally located so dog walks, buses and shopping and things were a snap. I’d gladly come back Mel!
We love our pet sitting experience for Juliet. Her and her husband Jon are both super friendly and welcoming, conversations were always easy and fluent. Nando is an adorable furry kitten which is impossible not fall in love with. Looking forward to come back in a future opportunity. We strongly recommend this sitting to everyone who loves cats and countryside.
This was an absolute gem of a trusted house sit!!! Sharon was incredibly kind and had great communication both before the sit and throughout. The boys Coby and Kevin were so sweet and calm. We enjoyed giving them lots of pets, taking Coby on walks at the park nearby, and watching Kevin explore in the backyard. Sharon's home was clean, spacious, cozy, and the hot tub was in the backyard was such a treat. Location was also great- quiet neighborhood with beautiful mountain views and still so close to downtown. Overall this was a very straightforward and relaxing house sit with wonderful pets! We are still missing Coby and Kevin and can't wait to pet sit them again someday soon!
Looking after Lola was an absolute pleasure—she's such a bundle of joy! Hailey and Todd were lovely too. They were super easy to communicate with throughout the housesit, despite travelling in an entirely different timezone. Haily provided clear instructions on how to look after Lola and was even happy to meet us beforehand to show us around the apartment building. We'd be more than happy to look after Lola again. We miss her cuddles already!
