Martha and D. Scott were amazing to work with for this housesit. They were communicative and very informative of how to take of their home and pet. Junior their cat was easy to take care of. By the end of my sit, he began to warm up to me like we were old friends. The home is just outside of Knoxville, and I was able to travel into downtown to visit shops, coffee shops, and local adventures. The neighborhood was very safe and beautiful tucked away on a Dogwood Tree trail (Martha drew me a picture for how to go on a nice walk through their neighborhood). Thank you for an awesome and a safe place to stay!
Serina and her husband David made us feel so at home for the weekend, explaining everything that we could possibly need to know and recommending great places to take Buster on his daily walks! They also made sure to stay in communication with us throughout the sit in case we had any questions. We had a great time with Buster! he is such a sweet dog- very friendly and happy to be left alone for a few hours. He loved cuddling up next to us on the sofa and his long walks to Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park. Overall we had a wonderful experience with this house sit and would highly recommend Serina and David if you are looking for somewhere in London to house sit!
Sara, Pete, and Oliver were all very welcoming. Gizmo was a fun cat to look after. He liked playing with toys, chased squirrels and birds, and then when you're ready for a rest, he is too. The home is clean and every part of the house is comfortable, in and out. The house is also in a perfect spot for getting to parks, grocery shopping and catching the bus to Derby. Sara and Pete are very organized and great communicators. We appreciate all that Sara and Pete did for us as there was some above and beyond. I highly recommend this sit.
Mowgli was a wonderful cat to sit for and very friendly and approachable. The house was super comfy and such a nice relqxing garden to hang out in. Many excellent inexpensive restaurants nearby on Federal Avenue. Emily and Reed were so nice and easy to reach with questions.
I had a lovely time caring for Belle and Big! Belle was very affectionate and loved to be pet at every opportunity. She was active on the cat treadmill and could be found napping on the kitchen chairs under the skylight. Big enjoyed his head pets and spent much of the time on his couch throne. Jonathan was easy to communicate with. We were able to do a walkthrough before he departed so that I could familiarize myself with the space, the cats’ feeding routines, and the plant watering needs. Jonathan’s place is gorgeous. The loft is artfully designed, comfortable, and filled with natural light. I loved taking in the art installations in the hallway and watching new pieces rotate into the gallery on the first floor. The building is located amongst a pocket of utility companies and car shops about a 10 to 15-minute walk to two stops along the E Line. Quick Tip: If you don’t already travel with an eye mask to filter out light while you sleep, I would recommend one for this sit. I would accompany Belle and Big any time!
Victoria was very kind to us. She was very flexible and friendly, and her house was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Nala and Pippa were also so calm and sweet! Nala was always following us around the house and loved to cuddle with us, and Pippa took her time to get used to us, but finally she got close to us. The location is incredible! Very close to the Q metro line, and there are also many good restaurants and shops nearby, a very good place to stay with a nice company 🐈⬛ and perfect for touristing!
