A great sit to finish our 3 month journey . Beau and Luca we're amazing buddies for 5 days . We had such a great time walking with them and playing in the yard . We fell in love with these 2 snugglers . Kelly and Tony we're the best hosts ever . Please do not hesitate to come sit for these 2 babies !!
We had such a wonderful time taking care of sweet and handsome Gotham "The Most Interesting Cat in the World, and playful and young Joker "Monkey Mouse Cat." Both of them are affectionate, and are full of character. They love to spend time playing and hunting for lizards in the garden, and also like their nap time on the patio. Responsibilities are easy - have fun with them, feed them twice a day with snacks in between, keep the water bowl clean and full, and of keep the litter box clean. There are birds to feed and watch, potted plants to water and enjoy, and a humidifier to empty twice a day or so, and mail to bring in. All easy peasy. Andrea and Phil are the epitome of Southern hospitality. We arrived after a long drive in the rain and they welcomed us with smiles, grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. We cherished the time we were able to spend with them too. Fantastic conversations, and lots of laughter. There home is beautiful and comfortable and easy to maintain, and Peachtree City is a gorgeous golf cart community - lots of trees, lakes, restaurants and shops. It's all about quality of life. Highly recommend this sitting experience, and hope to return to do it again.
Here is our fairytale story about our royally splendid stay at "Castle de T.W.G." by the graces of Your Royal Highnesses Tabby, Whitey, and Gingy. Mr. Ondrej, the eminent Private Secretary of the Your Graces, certainly wasn’t lying when he said three cutest cats, ah-hem, three Your Royal Highnesses! Your Royally High Adorablenesses Queen Regnant Tabby, Crown Princess Whitey, and Duchess Gingy must be - aside from our own furbabies of course - the most indulged, adored, and doted on kitties we’ve ever met. From the first encounter, we just knew it was to be an enchanting love story that would go down in history as the cuddliest and the most affectionate, and that we would be indulged, adored and doted on in equal strength and passion in return. We just knew, we’d be covered from head to toe in the furs of these ladies’ luxurious, royal fur-coats by the end of it, and that upon our return home to our humble abode, that we’d be carefully picking them up with our fingers strand-by-strand into a golden filigree keepsake box, for these furry remnants would have become very precious and dear to our hearts… It was our fondness for the Kingdom of Prague that led us to accept this special 3.5 week staycation invitation to the Castle de T.W.G. de Benátky nad Jizerou. About half an hour from Prague and massive shopping complexes, and about an hour to many fascinating cultural and natural sites of Czechia, Benátky nad Jizerou is a small town in Central Bohemia not lacking in significance, with it being a home to an incredibly beautiful Baroque manor house and once upon a time the astronomer Tycho Brahe. How serendipitously we, the admirers of astronomy and gastronomy, ended up here as if by complete alchemy at an otherwise unknown town where there exists a hipster burger joint, a slick cafe-bakery, and a real gem & find of a restaurant called Bílý Páv serving exceptionally prepared modern Czech dishes at a local’s price (highly recommended; we ate here at least two times a week)! And our luck would have it, the town would go on to hold, on the new year’s day, a spectacular, awe-inspiring choreographed fireworks display to the music of 007 Skyfall that could rival that of any big city NYE fireworks! But we digress… When we arrived at the Castle, Mr. Ondrej had our coach parked inside the securely guarded Castle walls by the entrance, by the Castle gardens. How wonderfully convenient, as we were to tour by coach the Castle surrounds during our stay. Filled with natural light across the vast open space with so many windows, the Castle de T.W.G. was a palatial Royal Residence Spectaculaire, indeed fit for furry (and non-furry) royalties, featuring a grand foyer, a dining hall to the left distinguished enough to host a dinner banquet with all sorts of pawliticians & fursonages, an impressive gourmet kitchen, surrounded by a ballroom/entertainment area big enough to host all sorts of royal events (theatrics & such), and corners flanked by scenic lookout towers for the Highnesses, where much bribing for royal favours with exotic and decadent treats from far corners of the world are known to take place (hush-hush), as well as sunbathing sessions on those gorgeous sunny days, with fursonnels at Your Graces’ service, providing all-over-body stroking of their lavish furcoats. To the right was a chamber for official royal household matters, generous spaces to plan out Your Royally High Adorablenesses’ world domination through intergalactic-speed internet. Up the grand staircase was our resting quarter, an enormous bedroom fit for kings & queens, with all sorts of evening entertainments sourced from all over the world available right in-front of the luxurious bed, with an intimate area for Your Highnesses to enter in the middle of the night for scandalous gossiping and pleasure-giving & -receiving sessions (shhhh, no one needs to know). Down the long and bright hall was an extravagant bathroom, colossal in its size one could attempt pilates or yoga before one indulges in the heavenly shower in two sensational ways - rainfall or waterfall. Oh, how terribly opulent! As for the Highnesses… Duchess Gingy, the dame of the Castle with intense, green, almond eyes, majestic in her thick, glorious ginger hair, magnificent in her once-upon-a-time-a-famous-ballerina pose. She may appear at first a little brusque here & there, but surely that is to hide her soft, vulnerable, kind, and gentile heart. Honourable and thoughtful in character, she personally greeted us without fail every morning to demonstrate her deepening affection for us. A passionate gourmand she is, perched gracefully on top of the dining table, Duchess Gingy ruled the realm of the dining hall, making the utmost effort to ensure the Castle serves up the best cuisine there is by vigorously taste-testing and quality-controlling every dish served. Our most profound moments with Duchess Gingy took place at the dining table whereon Duchess would lounge sensually and we’d take turns to discuss the politics of late over Mousse à la Tuna or du Bœuf. What an absolute one-of-a-kind charmer and a rare beauty she is, luminous in her jet black & snow white fur with those jewel-like crystalline eyes, the gorgeous Crown Princess Whitey, whose sweetness and affection shall be renowned across all feline kingdoms, and declared the sweetest and the most affectionate of all. In contrast to her delicate constitution, Your Spirited Highness possessed so much cheek, joy, audacity, confidence, and spark, we were utterly bedazzled and spellbound by her. An exquisite social butterfly, one of delectable manners, Crown Princess Whitey swept us off our feet and took our breath away. From day one, she showered us with head boops, butt boops, nose nudges, cheek rubs, pawing, belly reveals, and full-body floppies... How we felt so blessed! On the third night, to our euphoria, we were visited by Your Highness, who climbed onto our bed and demanded a pillow talk. Since then, we spent our evenings in bliss with Crown Princess Whitey, captivated and hypnotised by her sumptuously making bread and kneading, as we reciprocated in return with hours-long strokies and full body massages. Oh, Your Highest of Highnesses Queen Regnant Tabby, a true fascination and an intrigue she was, who ever-so-elegantly reclines on her stately sofa, covered in precious and plush artisan furs, draped in her luxurious dark mink coat, commanding the world around her with benevolence, patience, affection, honour, and brilliance. The venerated ruler of her kingdom, her mind so discerning and intense, her heart so whole-hearted and steadfast, she ruled quietly in careful steps to ensure her Castle’s quality of life & standard of living were maintained and protected. Not one to take bribes, within a few days of passing Your Highness’ secret tests, she opened up to us with fervent fondness, buried us in avalanche of affections, kneadings, and boops, even as far as to take us away from sightseeing activities to have us all to herself. We were overcome with proud emotion and elation, as Queen Regnant Tabby extended her fierce loyalty, influential friendship, and unbreakable alliance until our much sad departure. Last but not least, we were so incredibly thrilled to have gotten acquainted with the two honourable hooman servants of the Castle, unwavering in their commitment, devotion, and dedication to Your Highnesses. They thoroughly indulged us the visiting benefactors, assisting diligently at all times to ensure our stay was comfortable and our engagements with the royal kitties went smoothly and easily. Dare we say a special friendship was forged between us all for the love of Your Graces! Miss Shelby, the very fabulous Lady-in-Waiting, full of wit and cheek, an irreplaceable confidant and an absolutely delightful friend to Your Royal Highnesses. How lucky are the Highnesses to have her in the royal household! A walking irresistible marvel she is, we were gifted endless laughter and jolly camaraderie during our entire stay at the Castle, and our mutual affection was such that we acquired a secret channel to continue our light-hearted banter thereafter. We’re thrilled to have met such a superb biped specimen - a new forever friend, surely! Mr. Ondrej, the eminent Private Secretary of the Your Graces, was a rather very cavalier man, a knight in furry armour if you will, ready to protect & serve the royal household with his exceptional management of the Castle. He was the authoritative guide to everything Castle de T.W.G., and with his kind guidance we never got lost and nothing could be amiss. If we may speak frankly, we’ve yet to meet a man - aside from our very own Honourable Sir Tim here of course - so devoted, loving, caring, affectionate, and tender to the royals. Indeed most deserving of his title! All in all, we are beside ourselves to have been so blessed to have been chosen as the distinguished patron benefactors to the Castle de T.W.G. de Benátky nad Jizerou, and it shall be a very proud story we will be telling our Gentle-men & -women peers with utmost high recommendations.
What a really enjoyable time taking care of Zara & Olly and the home of Emma. While we didn't meet in person, communication was excellent and the Welcome Guide thorough. Zara & Olly are real sweethearts and easy to care for! Petting, brushing, topping up the auto-feeder and letting out are all that was required... Zara will keep you company in bed at night. Their home had everything needed for a 2 week stay and is an easy to get to location. Bus stops to and from the city center and the train station, were minutes away. It's also off of a main street so traffic noise was at a minimum. There's also a sitting area in the lovely garden, weather permitting. Oxford is a beautiful city to wander around and explore. This was a great sit, and I highly recommend coming if you get the chance! Thanks Emma for your trust! I'll be watching for an opportunity to return!
I recently had the opportunity to sit for Emily. Emily’s apartment is nice and homey, situated in a fantastic location with plenty of breweries and coffee shops nearby. Beech is a loving and cuddly cat. We spent most nights on the coach watching tv together. It was a joy to have Beech as my company during this housesit. Taking care of her was a breeze, as they were well-behaved and easy to care for. It was cozy, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I'm already looking forward to being back!
Let's Start With ... François (The KING): THE most adorable, cuddly, furball you can imagine. In true KingCat fashion, he is snuggly, loving and affectionate on his terms and timeline, and my only true complaint about him was his devastating rejection of my snuggles when he was ready for lunch. Steve: Excellent communicator, fantastic host. And above all, Francois is happy, agile, and patient with his caretakers like us, to which I give Steve all the Cred! House: Cozy, inviting, comfortable, and the location simply cannot be beat… Want wine? You can’t swing a dead cat (oof, what a bad vernacular phrase for this website) without hitting a famous winery. Hiking? Breathtaking trails within a 5 min drive. River lounging? The Russian River beach is a VIBE, just down the slope of the house. Foodie? Both Michelin Stars and cozy cafès burst at the seams within spitting distance. Francois and Steve are fabulous hosts and guarantee a fabulous experience.

Our dog Sophie spent all of her holidays, several each year, with Jane over some 11+ years. She loved going there and got on very well in the company of Jane's three dogs. We now have a new puppy of six months and hoping Jane will take her for puppy days when she is a little older. Jane has always sent photographs showing what your dog is doing which is very reassuring.
This weekend was the first time Izzy had stayed at Happy Pets - excellent service from a very caring lady. I have booked for end of July already!
In 2010 Jane started helping our family by looking after our lovely Labrador Pippa. Pippa was an anxious dog but Jane worked her magic, slowly gaining her trust increasing her length of stay from 1 hour to overnight and even one holiday of 3 weeks! Jane loves all the dogs as if they were her own. It's not just the walks and feeding , Jane actively interacts with the dogs during the day playing games and having fun. Sadly our Pippa died and now we have Molly, a rescue with issues! So once again Jane is slowly building the bond between them. Jane has so much experience and knowledge of dog behaviour and has given helpful advice in training Molly. Dogs that get to stay at Jane's are indeed lucky dogs and do have A Happy Pet Holiday.
Found Jane and her business Happy Pet Holidays through the Good Dog Guide and so pleased I did! She has a deep understanding of dogs and provides a home environment where you can feel confident that your dog will be well looked after. She sent us some photos and info during our week trip and you could tell when we went to pick him up and he had had a happy holiday too! Thank you Jane from very happy customers (dog and family) xx
I was going away for 4 nights and luckily found Jayne to look after my 7yr old Multipoo. I had an initial meet up at Jayne’s home followed by a half day trial to test the compatibility of our dogs which went very well so both Jayne and I were then sure a short term stay would work. I found Jayne to be calm, friendly and welcoming who clearly offers a loving environment for dog care by having them as one of her own in her home which is exactly what I was looking for. On my return, my dog was very happy and relaxed after being on long walks(5k) during her stay and Jayne took her time to give me feedback which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Jayne for any dog care you require and can vouch you won’t be disappointed with the loving and safe care your dog will receive.
My labrador Winnie has been enjoying holidays with Jane for many years now. When the car pulls up she instantly recognises where she is and gets so exited! She loves Jane and we can enjoy our time away knowing that the dog is happy and well cared for. The photo updates are very welcome and add to our peace of mind. I'm very happy to recommend Happy Pets Holidays.
We have left our little doggy Veuvie with Jane a few times and she has had a wonderful time. Jane takes the dogs multiple walks a day, which Veuvie loved. She also has a great garden which is perfect for the dogs to walk in and out. Jane is amazing with dogs. Veuvie absolutely loves her and now gets so excited when she realizes she is going to stay. Can’t recommend Jane enough. She is so helpful and extremely caring with dogs.
Jane kindly looked after our 2 year old Vizsla, Indi, for two weeks in September. Indi was very comfortable and at home with Jane, and her dog, Daisy. We were kept up to date with photos and video clips, and when I went to pick Indi up they clearly had bonded, which was lovely to see, and so reassuring. I have every confidence in Jane, and when we go away again, I shall have no hesitation in booking Indi at Happy Pets Holidays. Jane, thank you so much.
Jane looked after our 6 year old Labrador Rufus at very short notice when we had to be away for a few days. I can thoroughly recommend her services. We have already booked him in again for later this year as we will require more help.
We wanted someone to look after our two dogs whilst we were on holiday. Luckily, Jane had availability and the dogs could not have been happier. When we returned they were very pleased to see us but really didn’t want to leave Jane!
We first came across Ingrid and Kate when personal circumstances and a couple of unweildy crutches mean't we needed a little help looking after our 2 yr old Irish Setter! Having never needed pet care services in the past we were a little unsure what to expect and of course that we were trusting someone we'd never met before with the little furry grenade that had so quickly become the centre of our universe. We needed'nt have had any concerns and within the course of a couple of days, which included an initial visit to meet and great and her first walk with the group, it was clear that she was in the best possible hands and was really enjoying adventure and high times with her other, new, four-legged friends. We've since explored a whole range of services DPC provide; walks, day care, home visits and evening drop-ins! We've been so lucky to find Ingrid and Kate. The Bean clearly loves them and we absolutely love what they do and now can't imagine what it was like before they came along. Even more so lately as within a very short space of time the Bean was laid very low following some hefty surgery for such a young thing. With tyical gusto she's bounced back but what has been absolutely amazing has been the way that Ingrid and Kate have been so accommodating and in particualr helping us with the Bean's recovery whilst she been convalescing. We could'nt recommend Ingrid and Kate highly enough. Both for us as owners but particualrly for the Bean they provide just the most amazing service, a home from home on day visits and as a bonus are both wonderful, wonderful people too (also not forgetting Reuben who's doing a cracking job reinforcing the Bean's paw work!). Keep it up guys, awesome job. Steve, Nicky and of course the Bean.
Ingrid and Kate have been walking my dog Merlin every week for nearly a year now. I think they are absolutely brilliant, and Merlin agrees. As does Munro, my partner's dog. The dogs love them, and enjoy every walk. Both Kate and Ingrid clearly care for the dogs, give a debrief after the walk, and do everything they can to fit in with our wishes.
I cannot recommend these people highly enough. Kate provided a thoroughly professional, decent, well priced service. Our cats were looked after better than we look after them ourselves and we were given regular updates and sent videos almost every day. We arrived back to happy cats and our home just as we had left it. Thank you so much. We will always use you in the future.
Kate and Ingrid are fantastic at looking after our cat Baggy when we go away. They are incredibly professional and it's a great peace of mind to know that she is being left in such good hands. We can't thank you, or recommend you highly enough!
Bertie gets so excited when Kate and Ingrid come to collect him. He gets a great walk every day and they are really flexible if he needs a little more time with them. I really appreciate that whilst I’m at work he is having fun and being well looked after.
I would highly recommend Ingrid and Kate - our dog Otis absolutely loves spending the day with them and it is so reassuring to know he is having a fun and stimulating time with kind people who really care about him. Particularly love the ‘pupdates’ from walks etc - so nice to see him enjoying himself! Total peace of mind when we’re both working. Thank you for everything!
Kate and Ingrid are great and Max always comes back from his walks happy and exhausted. They are friendly, flexible and Max adores them which is all we can ask for. A great team and highly recommended.
Katie and Ingrid walked our Border Terriers for a week while we were away. They were fantastic. Definately use them again no hesitation.
Lovely ladies, so kind and helpful with looking after our hamster and bearded dragon. Thank you both.
Excellent service - highly recommended. Our dog seems very very happy there.
What an absolute pleasure and great experience for us and our 5 month old bundle of joy. We thought our puppy wouldn't want to come home. Heidi is amazing, very flexible in covering some holiday time and gave great advice to us new dog parents. First choice every time.
My two beagles were looked after so well. Heidi and Stephen are wonderful people, no where else comes close to muddy paws and I won't leave my two boys with anyone else from now on. Absolutely fantastic.
Heidi has been looking after our pets for many years. We have 2 cats and a rabbit, and Heidi visits each day whenever we go away to feed them and look after them in our home. She takes super care of them and is lovely to deal with and really reliable. I highly recommend Heidi and Muddy Paws as we always know 'the gang' are in safe hands when we are away and have confidence that we will be greeted by happy pets when we return. Thank you, Heidi 😊
I’ve used Muddy Paws for many years now, starting with our gerbils and now Heidi regularly walks and looks after our two dogs - a 10 year old mini labradoodle and a 1 year old viszlador (who is quite a handful!) Heidi has been brilliant! Always does her best to accommodate our dates and times and will go out of her way to do so. The dogs always come back happy and I know that with Heidi they are really well cared for. It’s lovely going on holiday and not having to worry about them. Highly recommend!!
Muddy Paws has been providing me with dog walking for the last 4 years, 4 days a week, every week for my beagle Angus. Heidi is prompt, reliable, great value for money and really flexible. Her knowledge of dogs, breeds, behaviours, training and feeding tips have been invaluable. I cannot recommend Muddy Paws highly enough. Absolutely awesome. Would choose again and again. I am a genuine customer and provide real genuine feedback.
Our cocker spaniel has just come back from a fun filled week with Heidi. He’s a sociable dog and loves the company of the other dogs as well as all the lovely walks. Heidi is very professional and takes the time to meet dogs before a possible stay, which is great. We are booked in for further stays over the coming months and feel confident about our cocker spaniel having a lovely holiday while we are also away.
Our parrot Stan has been going to stay with Heidi for approximately 10 yrs often for a month at a time. Heidi is extremely professional and we have total confidence that Stan is really well cared for. We have no hesitation in recommending Heidi and her services.
Heidi is very professional and knowledgeable about so many types of pets. She has been taking care of our pets for 6 years and I do not ever worry at all about leaving them in her care as she is very caring and she has them all under control.
Heidi is very reliable and professional, and always tries to meet our changeable timetables, and the dogs love her. We are so happy to know that they are safe and happy with her.
Sorry you felt the need to leave poor feedback, whilst we take every feedback seriously I don't actually believe you have ever used our services so I would be grateful if you could remove this and add it to the business it was meant for. If I am wrong I would be happy to solve any issues you have had personally
We have been sending our dog Elton to Honeys for 6 months now and it’s the best thing we could have done. Jovana sends photos to let us know how his day is going, and was reassuring at the beginning when I was worried. I trust her completely with Elton and he loves going with her every week - it’s definitely his favourite day! Thank you for taking good care of him :)
We have been sending our Paola to Honey's with Jovana since she was a few months old. Jovana and the team at Honey's have played a very important role in shaping our Paola into the loving and well behaved doggy that she is. They do take very good care of the dogs at the same time teaching them important life skills. Would highly recommend Honey's any day ! Thank you once again Jovana and the team at Honey's Doggy Daycare :)
Fudge is always so excited to see Ross in the morning and you can tell that he really cares for the dogs’ well-being. From making sure the light is on when he gets home (as fudge is afraid of the dark), to making sure fudge’s equafleece is off so he is comfortable when left. It really is the little things that shows that your dog is cared for and their needs are catered for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend
You only have to visit Honey's during the day to see what a wonderful time all the dogs are having. Jovana, Mark and Maaicke really do run a fantastic experience for the dogs and, of course, the owners benefit too. The facilities are top notch and very environmentally sound. Mark and Jovana have so much dog experience and are so good with all their animals that each dog really is treated individually. I know it sounds like a cliché, but a day at Honey's really is like having one-to-one boarding.
We have been using jovana for dog-care whenever we go away, for several years now. Totally trust her amazing dog handling skills. Our dogs have a wonderful holiday whilst we're doing the same!! Peace of mind is worth the journey from Suffolk! !
My pooch has been going to Honey's for several years now and loves it! She runs at the door and wags her tail when she gets picked up ever day. The team are very reliable and professional and have never let me down. Jovana always goes the extra mile when needed. Brilliant service, Woof woof :)
Brilliant doggy daycare - my dogs love going to Honeys to play with friends! I always know my dogs are having a great time and looked after by Jovana and Mark as if they were one of their own.
I have recently started using Honeys after a friends reccomendation, my dog is so happy to go off with jovana and has a fantastic time with his new friends. They are very professional and I know my dog is in safe hands whilst I am at work.
Our dogs go to Honey's every day and love it! They play chase with their friends, swim in the pool, run around the agility course and then snooze in the cosy beds. It's great knowing they're so happy while we're at work
What a great place and a geat space for dogs - Sadie and Rags just can't wait to get out of the house and into Jovanna's van when she calls to take them to the day care.
Josy’s on trial, just about seven weeks in now out of 3 months. We were initially looking at 1x a week but we like when Josy goes out to play and she seems to like the humans there. What would make it five stars for me is if there are updates that included her more often on socials, as it’s usually other dogs probably the active ones that attend regularly. And some same dogs are always featured on their socials, wish I could see what mind is doing more often. They do give an update if asked but I don’t like having to keep asking, if only they posted more in general on socials. Other than that the guy that mostly picks Josy up, she seems to like him a lot. No complaints about customer service. Dog is tired when home which is a good sign. Just a very overly curious pawrent.
My girl Willow absolutely adores Duncan’s Doggy Day Care! The staff are amazing and very knowledge which has been very helpful for me as I’m a new dog mum. Willow has been going since she was 3 months old and has learnt some invaluable behavioural and social skills I wouldn’t have been able to teach her on my own. The facilities are brilliant and Willow is always exhausted when she comes home. The staff took this beautiful photo of Willow too while she was doing some training, thank you!
I cannot speak highly enough about Duncan's doggy daycare! As a previous staff member, I immediately realized how incredibly passionate each team is about their role, showering every dog with the love and attention they need and deserve. It's heartwarming to witness the dogs having loads of fun playing and socializing in such a caring environment. I highly recommend Duncan's to any dog owner looking for a safe and loving place for their furry friends to spend their days :)
Duncan his family and team are fantastic dog lovers and always make my dog welcome, in-fact when I drop Benson off for a stay he jumps out of the car and trots right in he doesn’t even look back that’s how much he loves it at DDDC
The care and attention paid by Duncan and his team is refreshing and reassuring in this day and age when everyone thinks they are a dog care business. Professional with an executive level service and purpose built facilities in a beautiful part of the Surrey countryside. Recommend strongly.
My 11 week old puppy (Poppy) went absolutely crazy for the food and treats. They came in gorgeous recyclable bags (with her name on it!) delivered in the fastest time! Honestly I am so impressed at the service and quality of everything. I wholeheartedly recommend giving their food a try. Next to test is their new raw food...
Toto has absolutely become such a confident dog thanks to Duncans! He has been going there since he was a puppy and always LOVES going to Duncans. He definitely knows when he is going there and just completely adores all the staff members that come to pick him up. I love Duncans too because I have peace of mind that my dog (cough cough baby) is secure and having a blast while I work. I decided to not neuter my dog so he will stop going soon but trust me when I say I will cry on his last day as he loves it so much! An absolute ace of an organisation! If you ever change the neutering policy please let me know!
Channa enjoyed Duncan’s care in her early years as I was working and he and Jess were an absolute Godsend….100% would recommend without hesitation 🐶❤️🐶 …
Dolores is so excited when I drop her off at 'Duncan's' for a day of fun with all her puppy friends! She is only 8 months old and she's been coming to Duncan's since she was just 4 months. They have helped her with positive development and socialisation with other dogs as she was a little nervous at first and she is turning out to be a great little puppy with lovely social skills. I would highly recommend Duncan, Eleanor and the team if you are thinking of sending your puppy or dog to Duncan's. The team are very knowledgeable with dog behaviour and you can see they really enjoy working with dogs, which is so important. Duncan's have a huge estate of land for the dogs to have fun, its like the equivalent of a theme park for humans! When I tell Dolores in the morning "You are going to Duncan's today" she gets so excited and runs round in circles before jumping in the car. That is how you truly know its a positive environment for your dog or puppy!
Duncan's Doggy Daycare has been an essential part of LouLou's life for 8 years, and I couldn't be happier with the care they've provided. LouLou adores her time there, and it's evident in her excitement every time she is picked up. The training she received as a pup has laid a solid foundation for her placid and obedient behavior, and I'm grateful for the positive impact Duncan's has had on our precious princess. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-notch care and training for their beloved pets in beautiful surroundings in Surrey.
I can't say enough good things about this doggy daycare! My cocker spaniel, Hunter, absolutely loves it! Paul, Julie and the rest of the staff at Busy Tails are exceptional and accommodating - on top of that, so attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the dogs in their care. Hunter absolutely loves his time there - he waits at the door in anticipation each week and always comes home happy and exhausted. I trust the team to drop him off and I love how clean he comes back after muddy wet days too. The facility is well-organised, and offers plenty of activities to keep the dogs engaged and active. It's clear that the staff go above and beyond to ensure each dog's well-being and enjoyment. A big shout out to their social media team too, the photos and videos on Instagram are amazing to see each day, I love it! So yes, safe to say I wholeheartedly recommend Busy Tails to anyone looking for top-notch care for their furry friend!
My puppy Henry attends here once a week and has such a good time! He is really excited at drop off he can't stop woofing and tail wagging to let everyone know he's arrived. He is in an area with dogs of a similar size and plays constantly throughout the day, it has been so good for his socialisation from a young age. Then he comes home happy and exhausted. I am really grateful to all the staff, he clearly is very well looked after 😊
Maisie almost takes flight with excitement when her second family comes to collect her for the day! Worlds away from her first trial day when she was incredibly nervous and wouldn’t leave our side. Her days there definitely helped build her confidence and she clearly loves it! Julia, Paul and the team are always contactable and help with general doggy questions which is great for first time dog owners. The dogs are truly their priority and as well as being safe and cared for, they have great fun in generous surroundings.
Honestly, Busy Tails are amazing!!! They were recommended by a few people and from his first visit we new our boy would love it! He loves going and and whines if I don't get out the car quick enough when we arrive, lol!! I was always a bit stressy leaving him with people but watching him get so excited when he sees the staff makes me so happy :) . My husband and I's work schedules can occasionally change and they are always so accommodating, even at short notice. Worth every penny!!! x
Our dog Henry has been going to Busy Tails for three years and I’ve always been really happy with the service. Henry always trots off happily with the staff when the van arrives and the staff are always friendly and professional.
Our Mia used to have the absolute best times here! (I think she preferred being there to home!) Julia, Paul and the team loved and cared for her..and spoilt her! We visited once and spent an amazing day with all the pups - came home exhausted and filthy...loved it! Can't recommend Busy Tails enough...they care and love every pet they take care of as if it was their own. How lucky they are to be surrounded by all that love and fur all day long! Wishing them all the best of luck in 2021 and onwards...
Simba has been going to Busy Tails for the last 2 years or so and just loves it! He eagerly awaits collection in the morning and gets dropped home, exhausted & happy in the afternoon. Paul, Julia and their whole team have such a passion for looking after all the dogs in their care and do so with friendliness and professionalism. The facilities are outstanding - as well as lots to keep the dogs happy & entertained, there’s also some rest areas too. As well as all of this, the site is safe, secure and really well looked after.
We had arranged a visit to Busy Tails. We were made most welcome by Julia and all the lovely staff. The dogs were very pleased to see us too. Very happy dogs, some running around having fun and playing, some just relaxing enjoying the sun and some having some lovely cuddles. Happy place for dogs with space to enjoy the outside and space to relax inside or outside.
Frankie has been going to busytails for the past couple of years & loves it so much. From her seamless pick ups / kisses with james, to lap cuddles all day long🩷 thank you busy tails x …
Highly recommend as a doggy day care. We had our pup go along twice a week from when she was 4 months old, and she has become such a well socialised young dog. We think this was largely down to Busy Tails and her interactions with all the other pups! They are always very professional and prompt to collect our pup in the from Wandsworth, and great value compared to other day care option around the area and in SW London. They look after the dogs so well and regularly post photos to their instagram of the dogs during the day. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for day care for their pups!
My dog Lulu can be a bit tricky and with my wedding coming up, my usual carers won't be available. So I turned to Home From Home Dog Boarding to start building a connection with a capable carer. We were introduced to Monika and Alessandro who turned out to be more than perfect. They have great experience with bigger and stronger dogs. Lulu had a great weekend and I didn't worry once whilst I was away for the weekend. They sent great updates and took Lulu out for day trips and were so accommodating when plans changed and I needed to pick her up later than planned. She had a great time and is already booked in for more holidays and I can know that I can focus on my wedding next year and not worry about Lulu enjoying herself as well!
We have used home from boarding twice now and both times they have been excellent. We have you two different carers for our dog Skye and both times they have been brilliant! Keeping us updated with messages and photos both times. This is a great peace of mind that your dog is safe and in great hands. Please pass on our thanks to Maddie for all her efforts on the last stay. Thanks again home from home boarding
Ive used Home from Home dog boarding for years now and can honestly say they are the best. The usual carer they went to wasn’t available so they stayed with Natalie and her husband H. Such a lovely couple, who adore dogs and have lots of experience. I got daily updates and went away knowing they’re being looked after. If anything happens to one of them there’s 24 hour support from Home from Home. Staff in the office are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended
amazing couple Pam & John looked after my anxious girl. She had such a lovely time she was unsure about coming home!! Thank you for a perfect couple who I woukd trust again.
Our cavachon, Teddy, is always so happy staying with Ilona (and her husband, Ian). She is very knowledgeable, full of kindness and common sense and offers the added bonus of a great sense of fun. Ilona has been very accommodating whenever Teddy has stayed with her. He settles in quickly, which is comforting, as we know he's happy and that allows us a worry-free break. We greatly appreciate the photos of Teddy (often with very amusing comments) that we receive regularly when we are away.
I had a tricky challenge to sort. Having secured a hard won place on a round the world yacht race who could look after my precious pup for months? I found the answer with Home from Home. They were 110% helpful and supportive from the moment I contacted them. The person they found to look after my dog was wonderful and took the very best care of her. All watched over by the Home from Home team. Thank you all for your wonderful service. I highly recommend them.
We cannot thank Home from Home Boarding, and especially Nicola, enough for the amazing care she provided for our 7-month-old dachshund puppy, Remi! This was our first time leaving her, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The company was incredibly efficient and quick to get in touch, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Knowing that Remi was in the hands of someone who genuinely cared for her and gave her undivided love and attention 24/7 was such a relief. Nicola was FANTASTIC! She made us feel so comfortable from the start and kept us updated with the most lovely ‘pupdates’ that brightened our days while we were away. It was clear how much Nicola cared for Remi, and it gave us complete peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands, if anything Remi has been returned better behaved than when we left! We highly recommend Home from Home Boarding and Nicola to anyone needing a trusted and caring home from home for their furry family member. Thank you so much! 🌟🐾
First time using Home from Home Boarding for my boy. Morris was placed with a lovely couple who treated him like he was there own. This made my holiday worry free knowing he was in safe hands. Will definitely be using again . Thank you Joyce and Dave.
This is the second time Eddie and Vera have looked after Tiago and despite there being a year in between stays he was so excited to see them and return to their home. It is so reassuring for my wife and I to know that he is happy and well cared for by them and we are very grateful that he too had a wonderful holiday! Thank you Eddie and Vera! The Home From Home booking experience is straightforward and easy and we are very happy that it provided us with great carers for our dog.
Excellent, efficient and friendly service from Home from Home. The lady they found for us (Pat) is delightful. So lovely with our dogs and has a beautiful garden which they loved. Can highly recommend, thank you.
Rob has been walking Millie my slightly nervous rescue dog for 3 years now. He’s so good with her and she’s very happy on her walks. Rob is flexible, has the dogs best interest at heart and frequently posts pictures on his webpage so you can see what fun the dogs are having. Would highly recommend him.
I have owned four Rottweilers over the past 15 years and Rob has walked all of them. He has always been completely reliable and I'm sure all of my Rotties enjoyed their walks with him. He has been willing to step in at short notice and recently, when I was looking after my daughter's English Pointer, was happy to take her out while I got in a round of golf!! Rob has almost become one of the family; I trust him completely and I know he felt the loss of Blade, Charley, Alice and Soldier almost as much as I did. Thank you Rob.
Moss (our border collie) absolutely loves Rob and Angela. They've been walking him for 5 years and I can attest from the smile on his face and how much he sleeps after he gets in he's had a good walk.
After having a bad experience with another dog walker. Walking Woofers were recommend to me. Since the first meeting Walking Woofers were professional, friendly and the dogs were very important to them, as if they were their own. Walking Woofers have been walking are two working springer spaniels for many years and they enjoy their time out with Walking Woofers and you know your dogs are in safe, caring hands which is so important to any dog owner. I cannot recommend Walking Woofers enough for anyone considering a dog walker. You know your dogs will be safe hands and have a great time.
We were introduced to Rob several years ago & would now be lost without him! Our old boy Chums no longer walks but is always pleased to see him. Olive walks with him on a regular basis and truly looks forward to it. Rob is kind & very agreeable to changing times, for which we thank him! We would have no hesitation in recommending Walking Woofers to walk & care for your dogs.
Rob and Angela of Walking Woofers have been walking my dog for nearly 13 years now. I would be lost without them not only do they walk him they care about him, look after his well being and always let me know if anything does not seem right with him. He has a long walk and always comes back refreshed and ready to relax for the rest of the day. I would not hesitate to recommend them so if you want a reliable, caring and genuine person to walk your dog then Walking Woofers are the ones to pick.
Rob from walking woofers is fantastic- I have a lot of shift work and last minute changes and Rob is always happy to accommodate my last minute changes . Our family dog loves seeing him and always has great walks which Rob captures on camera for us to see.
After breaking my arm i got in touch with Walking Woofers to walk my Rottweiler. I am so pleased I did. Initially it was only meant to be temporary but because it made such a difference to Jason's (dog) temperament going from a teenager to an adult., I kept them on. I also do not need to use kennels as Rob will sleep over and walk him the next day. When I come home it is if I have never been away. he is so much happier. Not all dog walkers will take on large dogs. I would highly recommend Rob and Angela.
Rob has been walking Max our Ridgeback for 7 years. Rob is extremely reliable, Max looks forward to his walks with Rob and the pack of dogs. At times when Max needs ‘special walks’ due it ankle sprains and needs to be walked on the lead this is easily scheduled within Rob’s day. Thanks for all your walks, Elizabeth
Rob and Angela have been looking after our dogs for 11 years. They have known all our dogs since they were puppies - currently two Ridgebacks and one Parson Russell Terrier and have always been completely reliable as well as being flexible to meet our dogs needs. They come highly recommended - not least since we would have struggled on occasion without their support.
Fantastic facility with people who really care about the pets they look after. When my dog was doing hydrotherapy with them, he absolutely loved his visits (and the squeezy cheese!) Highly recommend using Oak Ride Farm.
The cattery at Oak Ride is brilliant! The team are so lovely, they clearly love the animals and care for them amazingly. The first time we took our cat she was quite nervous but the team gave her so much attention that she settled quickly and had a great stay. The team were also great at sending through photos and email updates to us which put our mind at rest. Our cat has now completed two stays at Oak Ride with a third booked for the summer and every time she has come back happy and healthy. Thank you Oak Ride!
My cat has stayed at Oak Ride Cattery a few times and I wouldn’t hesitate to send her there again! She had only been to one cattery before and she wasn’t herself when we got her home but after staying here she’s been as happy as she had ever been, we could really tell she’d be taken care of and given lots of love and attention. You can tell the people who work here put their everything into making sure your cats have an enjoyable stay! I also really appreciated that they sent me a photo and an update half way through our trips!
My cat Halloumi has stayed at Oak Ride quite a few times now and he always comes home happy and healthy. Their facilities are clean, well cared for and spacious. Their staff are friendly and attentive to the animals, making sure play time happens every day. I know I can always trust Oak Ride to take care of my little guy while I’m away, and I would highly recommend them to others!
I cannot commend the cattery enough. I used Oak Ride to care for my cat, Flo, whilst home renovations were carried out. She was not just cared for but loved by the team for 4 months. Paula especially took Flo under her wing. I received updates & photos & when she returned home was happy & well. Flo, had not faired particularly well in a cattery previously, so I attribute this success story to the care she received. Following that positive experience Flo stayed happily on several occasions, I think she enjoyed the attention she received more that from me!! 😁 I would have no hesitation recommending anyone. It’s in a lovely location & the staff all welcoming.
Our cat Willow stayed here for a week. She seemed very happy here and we could tell she was well looked after during her stay. She is a fluffy cat and needs regular grooming and her coat was well maintained. Such friendly staff and you can tell they all love the cats and their jobs very much. Thank you! Will definitely be using this cattery again in the future :)
A really friendly, efficient and professional grooming service. We have one of our dogs booked in for regular hydrotherapy and Oak Ride coordinated this with getting our most recent rescue thoroughly scrubbed and shampooed in their walk-in shower (during a lunch break!) as he is too big to get in the grooming salon bath. We took away a different coloured dog to the one we brought in! Very good value for money, we could never have got the same results at home or done it as safely as here. Highly recommended.
Just collected my 2 kittens from Oak Ride Cattery. They seemed to be really happy and content with their stay. They were interacted with and played with regularly, a particularly huge thank you to Hannah who took them under her wing! I had regular updates on them as I was worried because they're young, if they'd be OK. Also they had plenty of 'run' time out of their room. Will definitely use them again next time we go away!
I’ve been taking my senior Labrador ladies to Oak Ride Farm for Hydrotherapy since 2017. Its a highlight of their week. Weekly sessions have made such a difference to them, its been essential to their well being. Do we recommend Oak Ride Farm? Yes....absolutely! We travel 23 miles to get here. Thank you ladies - Carolyn, Mandy, Paula for your professionalism, expertise and especially for your care, attention & accommodation for Tess & Kayla.
Rex had been lame for a while then had his operation. His hind legs were all out of kilter. The hydro therapy was great fun and they really helped sort the poor mite out. And it was fun to watch him in the tank too! Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
