Gary and Dibs are the sweetest cats, I stayed in the summer so they were out happy doing their own thing most of the day and coming in for some strokes every now and then. The house is in such a good location and Holly and Dave left a super handy guide of instructions they've put together - extra nice to have a great coffee machine to use!
This house sit is everything previous sitters have said and so much more! Charles and Elizabeth's beautifully architectured, cosy and welcoming home sits on a tidal river, surrounded by rolling green hills, animated by the ever changing light and clouds. It is truly a nature and peace lover's haven. Free from the background hum of civilization, owls hoot across the water in the night, and swans dance a spontaneous ballet in the water's early morning mirror reflection. Morning coffee in the beautiful terrace garden stretches out all day... Oscar and Phoebe are without doubt the perfect sitter's companions and couldn't have been more affectionate and well behaved. Enormous thanks to Elizabeth and Charles for making me feel so welcome and for sharing their beautiful home. An absolutely delightful patch of English paradise. What more can I say: I highly recommend this sit!
This was our first sit and what a lovely experience! First and foremost Milo is such a sweet boy, enjoyed walks, bath time, playing with his toys and a good snuggle! Edwige, Greg and family super sweet folks, welcoming and helpful! The mountain cabin was very comfortable, quiet in the most beautiful surroundings with use of the community pool made our month long stay a memorable one! 💜
Victoria, her beautiful home, and her cat, Narissa, were the greatest. I had the best time & Narissa and I are now BFF’s. I would do this sit 100x if I could. Highly recommend!
I had such a nice stay with Jean, Martin, and Molly. Jean and Martin are such friendly and warm people and really did everything they could to make me feel at home in their beautiful home. I arrived the night before they left and had a lovely evening with them chatting about life and going over everything I would need to do while they were away (feeding the fish, watering the plants, feeding Molly, and giving her meds). Molly was a pleasure to watch, she is very sweet and would come to sit on my lap every evening for a nice long brush. I would love to sit for Jean and Martin in the future.
What a beautiful sit with the fabulous Calvin! Such a stylish and modern home in a trendy pocket of Denver with easy access to cute cafés, restaurants and supermarkets- as well as easy public transport connections. Calvin was a delight to sit. He's a huge loveable teddy bear who welcomed me right away- you can tell he truly loves people. Kayleigh and Clayton have him super well trained too, he knows his house rules well, is responsive to verbal commands on walks and settles really easily at night. He's incredibly affectionate but also knows when to give you a break, and is really cool to either chill with you or do his own thing. Kayleigh and Clayton were the perfect hosts too! They made me feel totally prepared and confident for the sit with really clear and simple instructions. Communication was super easy the whole time too, and I really appreciated how comfortable and at ease they are with the house-sitting process. Thanks so much guys!
