Wow, what a fabulous stay with Bramble and Peanut! All the thumbs-up, plus 100… David and Alexandra are excellent hosts. We so appreciate their trust and kindness in welcoming us into their home. We were very prepared for our stay and had wonderful support nearby if needed. Their home is so comfy, we had everything we could need (including fresh eggs from the chickens!). Bramble and Peanut are pure joy, we had so much fun with them. We loved the long walks with Bramble, who was in her element bounding about the farm, looking for whatever might be in the hedge or in a hole. Peanut claimed a spot on Blair’s lap whenever possible, and also engaged in rounds of “chase” (with us and Bramble). We are so happy to have met this fab family. A huge thank you to David and Alexandra for your hospitality and friendship. We so enjoyed meeting you and are grateful for the opportunity to experience this lovely part of England. We will forever have fond memories of our time on the farm with Bramble and Peanut and hope to cross paths with you all again.
I felt so fortunate to be able to spend time in Amy's house, along with pet hosts Ellie and Henry for the perfect staycation. I am local to the area and the neighborhood in which the house is located is perfection--very safe, quiet and walkable to the waterway, Market Street, and Hughes Landing where there are grocery stores, and wonderful places to shop and eat. Amy is very kind and quick to respond to any questions you may have, easily reachable by text or phone call. The home itself is well appointed, with everything you could need during your stay. Comfy places to sit inside and out. I spent a lot of time on the back porch with Ellie and Henry as the weather was so nice. There are three guestrooms to choose from upstairs, all lovely and very comfortable. As a single woman staying in the house I also appreciated that they had lights on a timer that come on in the evening, adding to the feeling safe factor for me. The kitchen is top notch and has everything you need should you want to cook or prepare meals for yourself. Both Ellie and Henry are such sweethearts and so low maintenance. Ellie is the perfect hostess, always with you making sure you are ok, very adorable. I had no problems being able to give her the medication she takes, she eagerly gobbles it up in her "treat" without issue. Henry is affectionate and always at ease, lounging on top of the sofa or on the back porch. I really enjoyed their company during my stay and so looking forward to spending more time with Ellie and Henry in the future when the opportunity arises! Would definitely recommend--5 stars all around!

William and Brandon were incredibly welcoming from the start. Their communication was exemplary, ensuring a smooth experience before, during, and after our stay. Their professionalism and warmth as hosts, reminiscent of their Airbnb hosting expertise, made us feel right at home. Luka and Fredo were a joy to care for. Despite Luka’s blindness, he was easy to manage, and his condition posed no problems. We made sure to keep an eye on them during feeding times, so Luka could eat in peace. Both pets, with their cat-like independence, were affectionate and made for cozy companions on the couch and outdoor lounge. The house offered all the comforts one could ask for, including a comfy bed, a beautifully designed kitchen with everything we needed and convenient parking right out front. The backyard was a private sanctuary, featuring a hot tub and pool that were perfect for both the warm days and cool evenings. Altogether, this house sit was a delightful experience. The combination of a comfortable home, lovable pets, and thoughtful hosts made our time both enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to future opportunities to care for Luka and Fredo. If you get the chance, jump at it.
We loved watching Mars, Silver, and Polo! They were a ton of fun and such sweethearts. The majority of the day they napped, always near us, and we walked them twice a day. They were very affectionate and snuggly and we loved getting to know each’s personality. The home was very unique and Katy and Tim were great! Would definitely recommend this pet sit, and we’ll miss the pups!

John and his team are outstanding! We’ve used Bakers Dog Care services weekly since we got our English Bulldog and it’s been such a positive experience. Our Millie gets excited when they come to feed her and take her out. They care so much about the dogs, the bowls are always washed filled with fresh water treats given etc. My work schedule changes weekly and John has been so accommodating always available. I just want to share what a great person John is. His love and compassion for animals is beyond measure. He took care of my dogs like they were part of his family. He had also given me some food suggestions that helped my boys eat a more healthy diet. His partner who also came in to walk my dogs spent time with them that they needed while I was away. John was nice enough to help us out last minute and watch our black lab Adonis overnight and he had the best time ever! John and his wife are so sweet and clearly love animals. It is with great enthusiasm and not an ounce of hesitation that I recommend Baker’s Dog Care. They have been professional, reliable and all around wonderful since the moment I called for them to walk my pup. This may be a little long, but… I came home from work one day too sick to walk my dog, so, I called them based on a friend’s referral. They walked my dog 3 times a day for the next 10 days as I was unable to get out of bed. They also checked on me every time they came to the house. When one of the walkers was concerned that I looked worse than the day before, John, the owner, called to see if I was ok and offered to bring soup or whatever I needed. Since I began using their services I have taken in 3 fosters, 1 at a time. The walkers have been super helpful and accommodating with each new foster and the owner even let me borrow a crate. One of the fosters has had some trust issues due to neglect / abuse / no socialization. John spent some time visiting with my foster pup to build trust, a few times, before taking him for a walk. They are all professionals who truly love the dogs. I cannot recommend them enough. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. 🐾💕
We used Baker's Dog Care a few times and each time Lila came home so happy. She reminded me of a child who didn't want to leave their day care because they were having too much fun! The second time we went to Baker's, Lila started barking when we were at the top of the block! By the time we parked she was pushing against the car door. This was a few months after our last visit! Both John and his wife took care of Lila like she was their own beloved dog. They were so respectful of our needs and concerns. We had used another dog care facility before so we know what Lila looks like when service is NOT good. This was not the case here. Lila came home buoyant, clean, smelling great, and filled up with kisses and love. She had none of the trouble that other dog places will tell you is "normal" when you bring your pet back home - no "readjustment" or feeding issues at all. Quite the opposite. Lila came home happy and content. I highly recommend Baker's Dog Care with no reservations.

It’s so hard to find someone you can trust with your dog, especially if you have an energetic crazy hound like me. But Bakers is the best and I trust them completely. For anything to dog walks to boarding, ti helping us out in a last minute pinch, they always make sure the dogs are safe, cared for, and happy. Couldn’t recommend them enough.
Love the Perfect Pooch. I found them through Google and Yelp reviews and the reviews are so accurate. I was so worried as a new dog owner and they treat my dog with such care. They started watching him before he was fully vaccinated so more pet sitting and they were fantastic. I got tons of updates and pics and they truly care for the pets. They’re great about notes and requests and did a great job feeding him and keeping him entertained. I most recently tried their overnight service which was fantastic and didn’t disrupt my puppy’s routine. I always feel like my dog is cared for by folks (especially Joy!) who love dogs and take extra care to treat my puppy with kindness -highly recommended.

Maggie is pure joy. She's also a 55lb diva who needs a long walk every day to keep her being a pure joy as my workday co-pilot. I had a scary experience with a solo dog walker, and then I found Leeland, who heads the Perfect Pooch. Lili, Gable, Raeven and sometimes Leland herself walk Maggie both alone, and sometimes with great buddies. I've seen them outside from a distance, and know how Maggie is super excited when it's time for their arrival. Maya stayed with Maggie while we were away, too. I feel confident and very comfortable knowing Maggie gets her walk (no matter the weather). The portal is very easy to use for communication, and payment, too.
I have been using perfect pooch for cat sitting for several months now. They have watched our cats during several trips. It is easy to schedule via their app, they are reliable, take good care of our cats, and always send follow up notes and pictures. As an added bonus - they also leave our apartment tidy - vacuuming up litter and taking out the cat food tins.

As a very satisfied customer of the Perfect Pooch for a few years now, I have relied upon them for overnight pet sitting, walks, and at-home puppy sitting for three of my large breed dogs. I am so incredibly grateful to have them in my life. Leeland is a joy to work with, and the walkers are highly skilled, well trained, loving, and perennially punctual. However, an even higher recommendation comes from my dogs—they are so happy to see the walkers when they arrive that they completely forget I exist.
My experience with The Perfect Pooch has been overly positive. The business owner is very responsive, and helps to do all booking, scheduling, payment, and messaging through a commonly used app. All employees have been trustworthy in my home, including the business owner who shares in the workload during busy weekends. Employees are largely detail oriented as well as cat-friendly and very patient even in the face of very shy cats who can lock themselves in a room.
I've been using The Perfect Pooch NYC for about a year now, and they take the BEST care of my little chihuahua! He was a COVID puppy, so I hadn't had to leave him with a walker/sitter before, but Leeland and her team are so professional, caring, and warm that I felt comfortable instantly. I recently boarded my dogs with Donna, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! It was their first time boarding, and I was a bit nervous, especially since one of my dogs has epilepsy. I can't say enough great things about Le Pooch Chateau! Donna and her team took such good of my pups! It's the first time in 5 years that i was able to tear my husband away from our dogs!!! He's always worried that no one would care for them the way we do. NEWS FLASH!!! Le Pooch Chateau did just that!!! We have two smallish dogs (9lb and 23lb) and the accommodations couldn't have been better! Clean, spacious, and Donna did everything to accommodate my rheumatoid arthritis girl. I highly recommend Le Pooch Chateau to everyone who's looking for a highly reliable dog boarding facility. I will definitely be boarding my dogs with Donna and her team from now on.

Le Pooch Chateau is the one and only place i take my babies to. The entire staff is amazing. They treat every dog with love and kindness. They pet them and play with them. The rooms are cute and clean. My dogs love everyone there (and trust me when i say that my male dog barely likes people hahah) The owner, Donna, is the sweetest lady ever! She is very kind, respectful and wants to do the best for my babies to have a great time. She was able to get my dogs to socialize with other dogs and she did that by being very patient, professional and kind. Debbie, Danielle and Chris are also very loving with my dogs. Everyone is! And you can really tell they do it with passion, not as a job, but as something they love doing. I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Thank you for everything you do Le Pooch Chateau. Donna and her staff are fantastic and true animal lovers. We boarded our 2 dogs there for a night and they went above and beyond for our boys - from special accommodations for the grumpy guy to playing fetch with the younger one. The place was immaculately clean and they have a variety of spaces for the pups. Extra bonus, we had them groomed as well. Our dogs came home handsome and happy! Donna was super great at communicating and flexible to meet the dogs needs. You can tell she just wants the best for the dogs. It felt like leaving them with our favorite trusted aunt who happens to be in the dog boarding business - we had complete peace of mind while out of town.
I brought my Woodle, Willow here for a week and it was wonderful. This was our first year trying to plan vacation while owning a dog. We trusted LePooch Chateau to take care of Willow while we were away and I'm so glad we choose them. They sent pictures to keep me updated and let me know how she was doing during the week. Elena is a wonderful person and fabulous with animals. She has been taking care of my rescue dog since 2019, and I feel so lucky to have found her! He warmed up to her immediately, and she is kind and patient with him. Elena follows any specific directions exactly (including leaving certain lights on etc.) - she even goes so far as to do extra things if she thinks it will help, like giving fresh water if the bowl is running low. Elena is communicative, very reliable, and truly cares about all of her clients. Chauncey is always happy and content after Elena's care and it is clear that she does an exceptional job. If you need someone to care for your pet, choose Elena!

Elena is wonderful!! She took care of our 2 dogs (including our special needs diabetic dog who requires insulin shots) during a family vacation. Elena is the only person I trust with my elderly, chronically ill cat. She’s incredibly diligent about administering all of her supplements and medications (which can be tedious), and always makes sure to check in if anything changes or if she has questions. Elena always sends pictures of my cat and her prepared food bowls at every visit (and of the empty bowls to show that she has eaten well!) — this really puts my mind at ease when I can’t be there to take care of her myself! She is always trustworthy and reliable — in two years she has never been late or missed a visit — which is the most important quality in a pet sitter. It’s a bonus that Elena truly cares about my little one’s wellbeing and is respectful of my home. It’s a big deal to trust someone with your house keys in NYC, and I would recommend Elena to anyone without hesitation! Elena has watched my senior dog twice and he absolutely loved his time with her. She sent me lots of updates with photos and videos and she managed all of his medications without issue. Elena is wonderful! I highly recommend her, I loved that she took time to come over and meet my dog Theo before my trip so that they could meet in his home where he was most comfortable. This past week was the first time that I had left Theo with a dog walker who wasn't family, so I was a bit nervous, but Elena was extremely communicative and sent lots of photos every day. She even FaceTimed me on the first night because Theo was a little skittish, but then he warmed right up to her! She walked him twice a day and fed him, and I appreciated that she was always quick to text if she had a question or needed clarification to make sure Theo was fully taken care of.

Alberto walked my black lab for a full year. He did a great job, even with my dog not being comfortable with men he was able to form a great relationship with him. Additionally, if I needed a last minute walk he was always able to fit my dog in. The only down side I wish they did have was GPS navigation but other than that the app was easy to use and helpful. This dog care service is the BEST! Took care of my dogs (and sometimes even me;) post surgery when I couldn’t walk my two by myself. They are amazing, caring and love your dogs like their own! Always reliable, always on time and dogs LOVE them! Such good care, rain or shine complete with rain coats! I’ve also observed them coincidentally walking my dogs on my way home from work and they looked so happy and treated SO well! I can’t thank Baker’s enough for getting me through the toughest two weeks on Crutches and saving my dog’s sanity from cabin fever! Highly recommendable!!!!!

The first call we made for dog service was on the first day of a 1,500 participant event where we realized we didn’t have the services our clients would need. His responsiveness, love and clarity of what needed to be done quickly to serve at his highest in such a short time was epic for the whole event to go on flawlessly. We used J&J PetCare during the summer of 2023 to take care of our two dogs (a yorkie and a chihuahua) over the course of 10 days when we were away, and we couldn't be more impressed with the service! They made apartment visits twice a day for our paper-trained pups, ensuring they were fed, had plenty of fresh water, and were treated to delicious treats. What really stood out was their attention to detail and the love they showed our dogs. They sent us regular videos and pictures, which made us feel so connected to our pups while we were away. It was clear they spent a lot of time playing and engaging with them during each visit, keeping them happy and entertained. Additionally, they always cleaned up the wee wee pads and replaced them with fresh ones, which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend J&J Petcare in a heartbeat. Their level of care, communication, and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be using their services again!

I can’t say enough about J&J Pet Care. They are incredibly reliable, professional and trustworthy. We frequently take unplanned weekend get aways, and J&J is able to take our puppy without advance notice. My dog really looks forward to seeing Jorge every morning! I get update pictures from every walk and my little guy comes back very exhausted from the amount of exercise he gets which is great! He’s also learned to use the bathroom outside which is a great success. Now a days it’s very hard to know who to trust with your fur babies. Overall we are happy with the service. J&J walks our dog Coco daily and on most days we get a photo of Coco showing her having a wonderful time on her walk. They are reliable and flexible and have really helped us out in emergencies. It is apparent that they LOVE animals - so gentle and loving with our pets. We highly recommend them. They sent us this photo of Coco on her walk one day (see attached).

Julie and Tyke were able to take my 10 year old bulldog at the last minute and allow us to leave for Thanksgiving. Tyke was amazing with my needy dog and provided many updates throughout the day. My dog and cat love Julie and her team! They do dog walks and I use Julie's Jungle often for pet sitting as I travel a lot for work. Julie, Mita, Kevin and Erica give so much love and I am always confident leaving my pets in their care. They send pictures often and I can see my dog and cat snuggling up with them. Pedro is an excellent dog walker. I have recommended him many times to neighbors and friends without hesitation. He is very attentive, reliable, and caring. I have a senior dog that Pedro has been taking care of (because a great dog walker does more than just walk your dog) for the last four years. He is incredibly patient and loving as she begins to slow down in her golden years. I’m grateful everday I leave the apartment knowing Pedro will be there to exercise and spend time with my beloved dog.
I couldn't be happier with Pedro and Hot Paws Pet Care. My pup can be a bit of a handful so I was a bit nervous about finding a walker for her, but I knew from the moment I met Pedro that she would be in good hands! Pedro is *obviously* a dog-lover and has a lot of patience. He is also extremely communicative and reliable; he has NEVER not shown up for a walk and has never canceled on us. It is SUCH a relief not having to worry about my dog while I'm at work! I also always receive text updates about the walk, which is great. All I know is that my dog absolutely adores Pedro. BOTTOM LINE: You can't go wrong with Hot Paws Pet Care. P.S. While Pedro is our every day walker, I have met two other walkers with Hot Paws Pet Care and both were great, too! It was important to me that my dog could expect the same walker every single day, which Pedro accommodated, but for two days during which Pedro was out of town we had sub walkers. Pedro was gracious enough to give plenty of notice about his trip AND set up a time for me and my dog to meet the sub walkers beforehand to make sure everything would be good. We had Pedro dog-sit our 2 dogs at our wedding recently at Wave Hill in the Bronx. He was TREMENDOUS! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter. He was amazing to work with and such a great guy. He took phenomenal care of our dogs (1 big dog and 1 little dog). The dogs were honestly upset to be leaving his care at the end of the night. Pedro was a class act. He dressed incredibly well and was such a pleasure to work with. We were so happy we found him!
Pedro has been taking care of our Jack Russell since 2013 and she absolutely loves him. Since Pedro has been with us, we've noticed a reduction in our dog's anxiety around other dogs (and even people), and he and Vincent have always demonstrated a genuine care for her well-being. Pedro and Vincent have been walking my large, lazy dog for nearly 2 years. He is professional, flexible and easy to work with. He is always cheerful and pleasant and really cares about our dog. Our dog can be quite resistant to getting off the couch to walk during the day - especially in the summer or if it's raining - and Hot Paws can always get him happily out the door. They are awesome and a real asset to the neighborhood!
I hired Pedro to take care of my GSD while I was working out of state. Pedro did an excellent job taking care of my pride and joy. He promptly gave me updates every time he completed a walk and kept me up to date on his mood. I even got to FaceTime with my dog which I think help put both our minds at ease. The Hot Paws Pet Care team is amazing!!! Pedro has been walking my cockapoo Gigi for a few years now and she absolutely adores him! He’s so loving, playful and understanding with her!
