Kim and John were very welcoming and generous hosts. We were offered a high quality en-suite room in their wonderful home which is set in a beautiful part of Cornwall. The garden, views and surrounding countryside are all exceptional. We found Bella and Raff to be genuinely delightful company – really lovely temperaments and very well behaved. Each day we took them to the same dog-friendly place – Golitha Falls – which is a stunning location that the dogs clearly love. Talk about boundless energy! It was great to see them having a great time in and out of the water. Both were very responsive off the lead … Raff returned when called and Bella is a sucker for a stick! So it’s very easy to put them back on the lead and absolutely no problems with children or other dogs. Raff does pull when on the lead so you need a bit of strength to keep him in check. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Bella and Raff - it was great to just slump with them in the evenings. The chickens were easy to look after and provided eggs every day. It’s worth knowing that there are no walks directly from the house … we took the dogs in our car. Great house, great pets, fabulous location and a highly recommended house-sit.
Stephan was very welcoming and the house is a beautiful place to spend time (especially with the pool 50 m to go). The location is away from the city but you can reach the center of Dubai by bus. Public transport is cheap and works quite well. Tapsi is quite independent and comes and goes as she likes. Still you can feel, that she does appreciate company. She will tell you what she wants anyway. Coockie is young, full of energy, very playful, affectionate and loveable. She is very funny and I will miss her. But she needs a NO now and then :-)! Stephan has established a clear routine with the cats, that makes it easy to keep them happy. I had a great time there and thanks to Stephan to give me this opportunity! I sure do recommend this sit!
Keeping Bailey has been a real pleasure! It's adorable, easy-going and knows how to make itself understood when it needs something (especially when it comes to scratching! ). Nicole's home and neighborhood are very pleasant to live in, and really perfect for taking Bailey for good walks and getting to the various tourist spots without any problems.
What an amazing week we had ! Ann and Adriano really made us feel at home. Bella is so sweet and the appartement was amazing ! We definitely recommend !
I had a fun time looking after Lilah! She was very sweet and enjoyed having company. I noticed she was at her happiest when we would go on walks around the neighborhood but also found comfort in lounging by the TV at the end of the day. Claire made the entire experience smooth and easy from beginning to end. We were able to communicate before we met in person to make sure this would be a good match. Keeping in touch with a few pictures and some general updates during the sit was also great. I felt that I was also able to reach out in case anything came up. The neighborhood itself was also a plus. Just a short walk from grocery stores, shops, and Lake Merritt. Easy to find street parking too! Overall, I had a great experience. I’m going to miss Lilah!
