Laura and Austin were incredible! I coordinated with Laura and she was super cool and confident with all things cats. Knowing Laura and Austin had cats of their own was a bonus — they just get it. They were self-sufficient, communicative, and very clean. They took great care of Smallish, including administering insulin shots twice a day without any issues. They sent me regular pictures and updates on how he was doing and even offered to alter their plans out of caution when he threw up. We felt totally safe to enjoy our time away knowing Smally was in good hands, and we’ve already discussed having Laura and Austin back in the future. 10/10 recommend!!!
What a lovely sit with amazing Mr Dash who we fell head-over-heels in love with! He's so regal, and quite the gentleman. So much fun to go walking with him through the neighborhood and around the lake, and snuggle with him on the couch - all while enjoying the awesome lake views. Susan went through everything on a call before the sit, showed us everything on our arrival, and made she we had everything we needed for a successful sit. She's fun to communicate with and a lovely host. Her home is clean and comfy, and in a nice townhome community. A great sit to relax or work remotely with a good view and all kinds of birdlife, including cute and chirpy Zen and Berry, they are so sweet! Thanks for a lovely sit Susan, we hope we can make it work again!
Joni and Denis are the most incredible people. They invited us to come stay the night before they left to go over everything, and we had a wonderful dinner with them. Conor was so well behaved and incredibly sweet. He will stay close to you wherever you go and loves cuddles and attention. We already miss him! Their house is so peaceful and quiet up in the forest, with a beautiful garden and pool. After they got back, we stayed an extra night just so we could spend more time with them. They went above and beyond to make us feel like family. We couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you Joni and Denis for everything 🙏🏼
Sophie and Hugh were simply lovely. Their home and gardens are absolutely stunning. They made me feel very comfortable in their home. My accommodation and en suite was gorgeous and decorated out of the pages of Country Life magazine with views of the gorgeous Oxfordshire and the horses and pool. Gruffy is the best companion. He is sweet and loves to be right by your side adoring you. He was a true delight to go on walks and hang out with. I already miss his good nature. The horses were very easy to care for, and I had no previous equestrian experience. It was wonderful truly waking up to the beauty of the Oxfordshire countryside in the little picturesque village. As it is a distance from resources, you do need a car. However, you can walk to the Greyhound gastro pub in the next town, which has amazing food and beer. I love to return to help Sophie and Hugh out the next time they take a break.
We had a great time with Norma! It took her a little while to warm up, but she began to show her personality while we were there, and we soaked up every minute. She really enjoyed her toys and fetching her treats! Taylor and Dan were very nice and welcoming, and we were happy to have the chance to meet them & go over Norma’s routine before they left. Their place was very comfortable and well-kept inside, and we couldn’t have slept better in our bed there. We loved sitting out on their screened-in patio with Norma in the mornings, listening to the birds. Their home was an easy bike ride or drive to many attractions nearby. We hope to be back in the near future to hang out with Norma, again!
This is one of the best sits I've ever had. Marlee is reality easy to communicate with, and really trusting. I arrived and within 5 minutes they left for the airport -- such a breeze to deal with. Their cats -- especially moo moo -- is a lover. She slept with me every night, haha. Their bed is AMAZING! And their apartment and kitchen is top notch. I love love love their place. Perfect bachelor pad and perfect sit. I couldn't have asked for more, and never would as they were accommodating and had everything stocked and ready, and most importantly, CLEAN (thank you for this), before I came. Love you guys. Definitely sit here if you like a quiet comfortable place to be you, outside of the city but close enough.
You’re home is very cozy. I only left twice. Maybe because I was so tired for 5 days, lol. Besides the stomach issues the pups had, they were an absolute joy. I love the love from them with all their different personalities ❤️ and they have super great parents too! Thank you for letting be grandma for s bit with your real babies. ❤️
