We feel very lucky to have been able to petsit Blue and Elfie, possibly the two sweetest dogs you'll ever meet! Perhaps they get their characteristics from their parents, because Felicity and Derek were very kind, accommodating, and humorous hosts. We felt very welcome in their absolutely beautiful home, and we were quite content taking the dogs out for their daily walks on the nearby trails, and then coming home to snuggle in for the rest of the day. We got the chance to overlap with Felicity and Derek for a night before they left, at which point they showed us all the ins and outs of caring for Blue, Elfie, and their home, as well as their nearby walking trails. Blue and Elfie are affectionate, playful, fantastic trail walkers, and so well behaved. We had so much fun going on their favorite walks and hikes and ending the night cuddled on the couch together watching a movie. We would consider ourselves very lucky to be able to return to this petsit and spend time with Blue and Elfie, and would do so in a heartbeat.
I had a wonderful time looking after Tiggy and Tom. They are such lovely cats. A wee bit shy at first but after a couple of days it was lovely to see them running about and having fun. Even sitting on my lap and purring!!! Much to Jacqui's amazement when I sent her the video and photo evidence. The house is very comfortable. I had my own ensuite bedroom with a lovely view across the fields. It was a short walk to a large Tesco supermarket and an M & S food store. A further 10 minute walk takes you right into town so no need really for a car. There is also a cinema and lots of cafes and restaurants. There was excellent communication with Jacqui throughout the sit. They treated me to a lovely meal before they headed off on holiday. I cannot recommend this sit enough as Tiggy and Tom are adorable. Just back from a wonderful sit at Williams lovely home near Tewksbury. Due to the timings and the weather we were able to get a brief handover from William which was supplemented by a very comprehensive manual which provided all the information we required for both home and animal care. The chickens were very easy to look after. The dogs, Rosa and Bonnie are fun and affectionate; the loving interaction between both of them and the cats Ede and Tiger was uplifting. Thank you William so much for sharing your lovely home and pets with us.
