Cat & Chris… the perfect house sitters 😻 We first met in February… but due to scheduling issues on my side, the sit was cancelled. I’m glad we kept in touch, and could make this one work! Great communicators, easy to interact with and so kind and considerate towards my home, my travel schedule and little Doris! Self sufficient, with cute updates along the way… I arrived home to a spotless apartment and a very happy kitty! I can’t recommend Cat and Chris enough, and would love to welcome them back any time.

This is the second time Trish has taken care of Oscar and Nietzsche for us. We couldn’t recommend her enough. Trish was familiar with the house so was happy to let herself in and make herself comfortable. We received plenty of updates and pics of the cats and we could tell they were so happy having cuddles with Trish. Our flight home was delayed and Trish just went above and beyond cooking us a delicious dinner for when we arrived home. The house was immaculate and even the laundry was done. We look forward to welcoming Trish back in September to take care of the cats (again) and our pooch Betty.

Absolute best of the best. It was obvious how much they love pets. I felt like my dog got to have a camp or vacation experience when in their care, and it showed when I came home and he was clearly hoping they were walking through the door and not me! They gave him great outings and spoiled him with love and attention. They took great care of my home and were self sufficient and communicative of all the fun they were having.

Judith was a fantastic sitter. The house was clean and tidy and Smokey was happy and relaxed. I would be very happy to have Judith sit for us again.

Andrew and Susanne were ideal house sitters. Though my pet passed away before their trip, we still had them watch our apartment and plants. They were very detail oriented and I have no doubt they would have provided excellent care for our elderly dog. They were so attentive and respectful of our place. They left our home neat and tidy with sheets on the beds ready for us to crash after a long flight. They thoughtfully also left a watermelon (our fave) in the fridge, and a beautiful orchid on our table complete with a beautiful handmade watercolor of the view from our flat. They even bought us an additional clothes drying rack which we now wonder how we did without! We would definitely have them watch our home again without hesitation. More importantly to us, they were such friendly and interesting people that we feel now that they are not just house sitters, but friends we hope to visit in England someday.

Easiest five star review I’ve ever given. Daniela and Michal did an incredible job communicating throughout the sit. They sent pictures and videos, watered out plants, cleaned up after themselves (including washing and drying sheets and towels!) It was delightful meeting them for coffee beforehand to meet Lily at a comfortable place and talk through the details of her care. Stacy and I really enjoyed having them and we hope they come back to Lisbon soon!

We could not have been happier with Cherry and Andrew. Ahead of the sit, communication was very straightforward and practical. Clearly Andrew/Cherry are seasoned sitters who knew exactly what questions to ask and what information they needed. They immediately put us at ease and radiated reliability! We were in touch regularly over the week - having been asked how much contact we wanted. All in all, lovely people who cared for our property - and more importantly, our lovely Gertie - exceptionally well! The house was left immaculately clean. Would not hesitate to repeat the experience - if they’d have us! Thank you.

Julia sat for us, initially for 3 days but helpfully extended her stay when things changed. She kept us informed of progress and was very understanding when one of the cats needed extra care. Thanks Julia!

Nicole was amazing! Even though her personal circumstances changed she honoured the agreed house sit and looked after Berti and the plants for 6 weeks; through the regular photos Nicole sent I could tell Berti was very relaxed and happy - even accompanying Nicole on 6 mile runs!! Nicole was organised, an excellent communicator, kept the house spotless and just a lovely friendly person all round. I highly recommend Nicole as a house sitter, I would be more than happy for her to look after Berti again.

We are so grateful to Kate and Stuart for house/pet-sitting for us. It was our first experience of leaving our animals with anyone and we knew we were in safe hands. They are such a lovely, capable couple and we would highly recommend them. Their communication was great and they left our house beautifully clean and tidy. We would love them to come and sit again.

Emma and John have been our first experience of using house/pet sitters. From our first message from them we felt hopeful that they would be a good fit for us. When we then arranged to ‘meet’ online their warmth and kindness shone through. They were easy to communicate with and generous with their advice and guidance. We arranged for them to stay with us the night before we went away so that they could meet Sweep and Grey and familiarise themselves with the house. Sweep immediately took to them and we enjoyed a lovely evening all together before we left early the next morning. We headed off feeling confident that Sweep was comfortable being left with Emma and John - he happily went to their bedroom to wish them good morning as we left! Whilst we were away they kept in regular contact sending us pictures and updates as to how they were all doing and Sweep was clearly having a wonderful time with them. We couldn’t recommend Emma and John highly enough - they made our first experience of house/pet sitting an easy, comfortable and enjoyable experience. We returned home to a happy dog who had clearly enjoyed making new friends and sharing his home with them!

Simon took excellent care of our cat Tibby. He was very friendly and helpful. Easy to contact and dealt well with our slightly shy cat. A fantastic house sitter.
