We loved our stay at Stephanie's house, she and Geoff are so kind and nice people. From our first conversation before HS to when they got back home they were friendly and great friends, they showed us everything in the house and the neighborhood where they live. The house is very nice and just a few minutes from the beach. Even though we stayed in the rainy season, Bang Tao was beautiful. They provided two bicycles for us that really helped us to get around. About the pets: Pixie, Nacho, Frida and Misty are adorable, loving and super smart animals. Frida and Nacho enjoy being outside, but when you call them, they come back inside. Pixie and Misty prefer to stay indoors, they will be by your side all day long. When we were cooking or working, they were always around us. They both love cuddles and treats. Misty is taking medication, but this was not a problem. She is a good girl and easily takes her pills in her food. We walked with Misty during the early evening, but not for long distances because she gets tired. We love our days with these fur friends. We already miss them. We really enjoyed our stay with Kerry. Robbie, Rita & Freddie are lovely cats and we really liked looking after them. Everyday they became more confident with us and within days I had them on my lap. Kerry was very warm and made us feel very welcome in her home. This was our first 'cat-sit' and I hope every stay is as good as this.
We had the great opportunity to sit for Brendan and Thomas who were the loveliest hosts with the most beautiful home and cats! They were so kind to have us over for dinner the night before and made us feel very welcome. We even got a tour of the charming old town of Avallon, where you can wonder the old streets looking for croissants, markets, shops and delicious French cuisine. Apart from the charming town, we also got to enjoy the stunning house and garden. Most of all we got to enjoy the company of Bluey and Suki, who we are going to miss a great deal. They are so affectionate and are always looking for a cuddle and belly rub. They also have the sweetest personalities and they were an absolute joy to look after. We would love to come back and can't recommend this housesit enough!
It as the best 2 weeks spent in Tromso with mature alaskan husky Jack. I was not even dreaming to meet such a calm, lovely furry friend, whom it was difficult to leave behind. Jack is mild in nature, loves cuddles and attention, so we had something in common. It was great to have him around. We spent most of the time together, hiking, exploring the area, going to the beach, as both of us love outdoors activity. And if I left him alone for some time, I was missing him short after already. But nothing wonder, if the owners are great , so is dog. Nicole and Jesse are just fantastic and welcoming, so is Jack. I wish to be always available for Jack, when needed. Thank you Nicole, Jesse and Jack for memorable , unforgetable experience in such a great house and nature. Jack, I miss you a lot!
Cannot say enough good things about this sit. Elizabeth & Josh were extremely gracious hosts, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. All of the requirements & details of the sit were very straightforward and clearly communicated, and - of course - Simon & Calpurnia were a great pair to hang out with for a few days; they were a very friendly combo, easy to care after, and I had no trouble warming up to either of them (and vice versa). A wholly positive experience all around. Recommended.
We arrived on time to be shown the ropes, and meet their beautiful and loved Benson boy. Anne and Andrew's home is lovely as is their large garden. The en-suite guest bedroom is very comfortable, with large comfortable bed, lovely linen and towels. We slept soundly every night. They also offered us the use of their bicycles. We didn't use them as we preferred the local walks with Benson around Swindon Village, footpaths and fields. We experienced a prolonged heat wave while there, so Benson loved cooling down swims in the streams on outings! There is also a nearby park where we got to meet many dog families. Benson enjoyed the social time there! Thank you Anne, Andrew and family for trusting us with your home and precious Benson boy, especially since this was our first experience with Trusted Housesitters. We had a wonderful, relaxed and comfortable month long sit at this home. We will miss Benson! We highly recommend this sit in the Cotswolds.
