Yet again another superb experience with zeewoi. Madison and Erik were a delight. We had arranged the sit well in advance and despite a change before the sit everything went smoothly. They are so enthusiastic, open and joyful to be with. They quickly got to grips with all the house stuff and got to know Ollie, (their description of him fits him to a "T") Long sits, and Thailand inevitably throw some curve balls but they handled everything with confidence and ease, treating the house as though it were their own. We returned to an immaculate house and a relaxed and worry free Ollie. I hope that Madison and Erik continue to find the sits that they deserve, they sure earned it in our eyes. Eppy and Jonathan were the most gracious hosts, I couldn’t have asked for better! Their home is very comfortable and close to Oxford and London. Eppy made a wonderful welcome book with instructions on all the electronics and appliances, etc. And sweet, precious Islay—I loved just cuddling with her while watching telly, and letting her show me around the town on our walks. Willa and Arlo are an adorable duo with priceless quirks and boundless energy! Willa would stare lovingly into your eyes and was patient and calm, while Arlo would clumsily barge on to your lap for endless snuggles! Both are incredibly affectionate and a joy to be with. Walking them was easy too. Amy was wonderfully friendly, generous and helpful throughout. Her apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the neighbourhood is quiet and pretty for taking the poochies for their walks. Thanks for everything, Amy!
Penny was very accommodating and was happy to make us as comfortable as possible. She has 2 dogs. Bella, the mother of the puppy Mary Lou, was a pleasure who loved her walks and was very friendly and loved to play. We had no problems at all with her. Penny did tell us that the puppy was not yet house trained, so we tried to encourage her to use the training sheets but we did not succeed in the 4 days that we were there. It required a bit of cleaning up which we were happy to do. We told Penny that we were in Reading to spend Christmas with our children and new granddaughter. She wanted us to assure her that the dogs were not left for longer than approximately 2.5 hours. We timed our lunch to ensure that my daughter would go to Penny's home and spend some time with the dogs while we prepared lunch and we could be back shortly after eating. We left her home tidy, as we found it, and the dogs fed, walked and watered until Penny's friend could arrive after our departure as arranged. We were at Penny's home from the 24th to the morning of the 28th as Penny had extended her stay in London, and we had our next sit arranged from the 28th. We found Penny to be a very pleasant hostess.
