Great place for your pets to go whilst you are away. The owner, Meg lives and breaths her charges. We've booked out cat Wellington in for two stays this year and another in Jan 2024. Pre booking visits are actively encouraged so you can have a look round before booking.

Meg looked after our lovely boy for a month whilst we relocated to North Wales. Meg was helpful, caring and kind, fitting in and changing dates as required. Meg's cat hotel is a cattery on another level of cat luxury, so I have no hesitation in saying that this is the best service I have seen for pet boarding. Five star review for a five star service.

Absolutely lovely place took such good care of my fur baby, while me and hubby celebrated our wedding anniversary! High recommend! And my boy loved having his own holiday to make new friends.

A big thank you to The Pet Joint for looking after Pig so well while we were away. He clearly had a fab time watching fish tv, chilling on the chaise longue and watching the birds outside. A lovely touch having photos posted on Facebook (it is if you’re crazy cat people like us 🤣). Great communication and clearly so much care in what they do. Would highly recommend for cats, dogs and small animals 💕

Our lively labrador stayed with steve and meg and their canine companions while we got married and went on honeymoon. Not only did they go the extra mile by offering a chaperone service so our boy could be at the wedding they thoroughly looked after him while we were away. The daily updates of photographs of him enjoying his dog holiday put our mind at ease, he was not missing us too much. So much so that it almost looked like he was far more interested in where his canine pals where when we picked him up. I would use and reccomend the pet joint again and again. What can I say? I chose The Pet Joint after asking on FB for recommendations as I wasn't from the area. Originally booked in for a few days, our Puffle ended up staying for three weeks due to a stressful and uncertain house move. I never once felt like an imposition & was continually told by Meg that it didn't matter and Puffle would be welcome to stay as long as necessary. Meg is an absolute credit to petcare and I am in no doubt that she treats all her charges as if they were her own. I wouldn't hesitate to use The Pet Joint again. Thank you so much 🤗

We booked our two cats and dog in for a short break at Pet Joint and were suitably impressed. The care and attention was second to none and the rooms and furnishings were really luxurious. Our little ones enjoyed the experience and arrived back with glowing coats and lots of new friends. Definitely worth considering if you love your pet and want them to enjoy a home away from home! Meg and Steve provide a first-rate, top quality, dog boarding service. Like other dog owners who won’t use kennels, we searched for ages for a suitable alternative for our dog and found it at The Pet Joint. Set in gorgeous North Wales countryside, the dogs have large grounds in which to exercise, sleep in their own, very spacious, rooms and have round-the-clock professional care and attention. Highly recommended.

Meg's a trusting and caring pet mum. She took great care of Roger recently, really efficient arrangements and lovely, kindly approach. Would most def. Reccomend.

Left our two springers here for 17 nights, first time leaving them at kennels and they had a great time. Chris is lovely and they were very well looked after and very happy when we picked them up. Would recommend and definitely will be using again x

Lovely spacious pens with windows to look out on the countryside providing a calm quiet place for our very nervous rescue cat. Chris & Amy were able to help us out at short notice when our usual cattery was full & our flat undergoing some renovation work. Chris even got Doris in her basket ready for us to collect - what a service! In the past I have avoided catteries that were also kennels but here the dogs did not seem to be any kind of problem for the cats. We would use again & recommend to other cat owners.

I have left my dog Jack at Four Paws Kennels a couple of times now and he has always been very well taken care of . Whenever we go away on holiday we can relax knowing that Jack has somewhere to go where he will be happy and safe

Didn't have my booking even though I spoke to him on the phone before leaving to drop my pets off. Extremely rude! After leaving all flustered and getting home I realised that I had left my handbag there.. I sent 2 emails and placed several phone calls and texts to his mobile phone and his response was to turn his phone off!! My brother made an hour round trip to collect my handbag and was treated with extreme hostility.

Wow can’t praise 4 paws enough. I was so worried about leaving my little JRT Ellie in kennels , as we’ve had a bad experience with kennels before , but as soon as we came to pick her up I could see how happy and healthy she looked, she made a fuss of us and then turned back to be fussed my Chris and his lovely wife, I would not hesitate to leave her here again knowing how well she would be cared for. Thankyou so much for caring for Ellie and making her holiday enjoyable .

Our dog Lucy has been twice. She is a bit shy on leaving her but we know she will be well looked after by Chris. It's the only place we would send her for her holiday. Thanks to Four paws we can relax as well on our holiday.

My yorkshire terrier was very well looked after, she has never been to kennels before so i was a little worried but she had a great time , the rates are good will definitely use again.

Taking Miss Milly to the kennels was an anxious time for us as we had never put her in kennels before. We took the opportunity for a pre stay visit and took Milly along with us and we all liked what we saw. Great exercise paddock, walks and roomy kennels. The morning arrived, we were met by Chris, handed her lead to him and off she went without a care in the world!! We even received texts while we were away to let us know how she was doing. On our return, we were met with a very happy Milly and know she had enjoyed her stay, we will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Would really recommend . We have an eleven year Newfoundland who has never been in kennels before we were able to leave him at Four Paws without any concerns .when we were due to collect him there was an road traffic collision in the area causing traffic nightmare Four Paws were able to let Paddington stay an extra night at very notice . I couldn't be happier with Kelly and her family for taking such good care of my Boston, Bertie. They were warm, welcoming and you can tell they love being surrounded by dogs. They took the booking at short notice and also sent me some great videos and pics too. I could tell from the videos what a fantastic time my pooch had! Would highly recommend.

Definitely send your dog here! Kelly and Chloe looked after our Boston Gordy while we visited Wales from Liverpool for a weeks holiday. They were absolutely amazing! Our whole holiday would have been ruined as we couldn't have stayed in the caravan with the heat as it would have been dangerously hot for him of a day. He overheats really quickly and they definitely kept him safe. He was so happy going there and ran in as soon as the door was open without a backwards glance. It really is a home from home and I felt so comfortable leaving him there. I wasn't worrying all day if he was okay as I knew he was having a great time. As soon as you go in you just know they love dogs. Only downside is Gordy is going to miss going there now we are back home! Such good value for money as well. If we lived nearer he would be going full time

My little dog Hemingway is very precious to us and I was so glad we found Teddy's friends . We were away for two weeks and he had a wonderful time playing with Teddy and being part of a lovely family. We had lots of videos and photos and it was great knowing he was happy and not worrying about him. When we picked him up he had been bathed and pampered as well and I think he is actually missing his friend Teddy as well. I cannot recommend this pet sitting services enough and will definitely be a repeat customer. Lovely family who genuinely care about dogs

I am so lucky to have found Teddy's friends pet sitting service. Kelly is amazing. She has such a passion for what she is doing. Wilson our 2 year old cockapoo absolutely loves going and when I arrive, he races up the drive each time to Kelly who is always waiting for him, along with Teddy. Kelly's partner Craig, and daughter Chole are just as welcoming and the three of them, along with Teddy make a wonderful team. Everything is fantastic for the dogs, lots of toys, comfy beds, a clean secure house and garden, and a paddling pool for the warmer days. Kelly never takes too many dogs, so you know that she will have time for each dog, and they will be cared for during their stay. Teddy her own dog loves welcoming his friends and Wilson always comes home tired and happy after a lovely day with Teddy and his friends. Kelly sometimes baths him and gives him a doggy massage which he loves! I cannot praise Kelly enough, and feel so thankful that I can go to work knowing Wilson is safe. Its such a huge relief to have found Kelly who I know genuinely loves and cares for Wilson like I do. Thank you.

Teddy's friends is extremely friendly and welcoming a home from home feel were your Dog has the freedom to come and go as it pleases !! Kelly is great with the dogs and is Obviously a big dog lover and it shows in her manner towards your pet. My dog has had a terrific time there today enjoying fun with Teddy who is adorable. Kelly and her family really care about dogs. They have a big garden and the dogs have a good run of the house. She is very quick to reply and nothing is too much trouble. I thought my dog would not get on with other dogs but he can't wait to get in through the door! I would definitely recommend Kelly. I feel safe leaving my dog in her hands.

Buddy our 8 month old English Springer spaniel has been going to Kelly since he was 12 weeks old for day care, he's just done an 11 night stay while we went on holiday with Kelly, Craig her partner, chloe her daughter and of course Ted Kelly's adorable shih tzu. He honestly couldn't of been in better hands, she followed our routine with Buddy and even facetime us while we was away. She sent plenty pictures & videos of buddy, which made our time away from him a lot easier!! We picked him up & he'd had a pamper afternoon, he was so clean, fluffy and smelling amazing. He loves going to Kelly's and always comes home exhausted after a fun day playing with his friends. This makes my day so much easier when I pick him up after work as I know hes had plenty exercise throughout the day so he just want to get on the sofa and cuddle. I can't thank Kelly, Craig, chloe & Ted enough. Obviously with Buddy being a Springer he has lots of energy and hes never too much trouble for Kelly, Buddys formed a bond with Kelly and I'm at ease when hes there. She has a big garden which buddy loves to run around in. A clean, dog friendly, loving home and I'm so happy we found Kelly and i highly recommend to anyone. Thank you again xx

When my husband was rushed to hospital while we were on holiday in Caerwys I had no idea what to do with my precious rescue pups. I knew they couldn’t be left in a hot car but I had nowhere and no one for them to go to. I called Kelly and she said to bring them over and this was an absolute godsend! They’d never been to kennels (aside from the dogs home they came from) or day care and I was worried to leave them, but Kelly kept me updated and meant I could just worry about my husband not my fur babies! Thank you so much Kelly, Cookie and Hobnob had a fantastic fun day with you after a stressful night. I’d give 6 stars if I could!

I recently came up to Ryhl for work, bringing my frenchie humphrey. This family team is amazing, very friendly and sensitive to my concerns with leaving him somewhere new. It is obvious they love not only their own dog, but those in their care also. Cannot reccommend them highly enough, they are brilliant. I felt so comfortable with them that i had no problem leaving humphrey overnight while i travelled for work, i always get bsck a very tired, happy puppy. I will definitely be using them again when i return in the new year.

What a gem! I can't rate this service highly enough! Took my dog for an overnight stay, he had a fab time. Kelly and her family kept us up to date with the fun he was having and sent us photos and videos of his day. When we collected he was smelling of baby talc and dressed with a bow tie 🥰 thank you so much, will definitely use you again.

We’ve used Ailsa’s Creature Comforts service for quite a number of years and have been so happy with the care provided. Both our last boxer dog, Alf, and our latest boy, Percy have loved their little holidays with Creature Comforts which, in turn, makes our holidays more relaxing knowing we don’t need to worry about them. Highly recommend!

We have used the services of Ailsa at Creature Comforts on several occasions short and long stays for our two dogs and they are so happy. We were so overjoyed to find this wonderful home boarding business as we had found it difficult to find anywhere apart from kennels which our boys hate. Alisa is so kind, caring, accommodating and calm and looks after our boys as if they were her own! What more could you want for your beloved pets, we wouldn’t use anyone else, Creature comforts gives you peace of mind knowing they will be well cared for allowing you to relax while your away. We always return to happy healthy dogs which to us is priceless.

Ailsa and Andy have provided first class care for our 2 spaniels and a crazy terrier! We go away regularly and sometimes for fairly long periods, and our pups are always well looked after and happy - little terrier LOVES being with the other residents! This is a Godsend for anyone looking for the personal touch for their precious dogs.

When we first moved to Wales I was worried that we wont find a 'kennel-free' option for our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rocky, when we have to visit family in South Africa. But finding Creature Comforts came as such a relief! Ailsa has now looked after Rocky twice - both short and long stay and I would use her again and again. She has a lovely friendly demeanor which immediately puts any pet at ease. Rocky loved his stay with her as she treated him like he was part of the family - the same way we treat him at home. He was taken on numerous walks and was allowed to roam free,in the same way we do on our walks at home. I am very very happy with Ailsa's service as she takes the time to get to know each dog individually and cares for their personal individual needs as a result. This is great, as no dog is the same. We were away from our beloved Rocky for 4 weeks and I did not worry once as I knew he was in the best hands possible. Will recommend Creature Comforts any day! Definitely using their service again.

I will only use Creature Comforts to board my dog. It means that I can go away without any worries, assured that she is being properly cared for. Ailsa has also always been very flexible with both short and long stays which has helped me organise anything from a weekend away to a 3 week break. Highly recommended and much better value than kennels.

I have used creature comforts a couple of times now and have My Dog Tess booked in again in October. I would recommend ailsa I have no worries leaving Tess with her I know she is being well looked after Tess wasn’t sure the first time she went but was happy when I picked her up Second time she went she Was happy to see ailsa and just jumped straight into her car as if to say bye mum I’m off lol.i would recommend ailsa without hesitation and Tess as found her Second home i wouldn’t send her anywhere else thank you so much ailsa for looking after my baby.😊

We have used creature comforts now for around 7 years and I will not go anywhere else . From the moment you meet Ailsa and her family then you know your dogs are in good hands and you can then enjoy your break or holiday without a care . My 2 dogs actually cant wait to get out of the car when we arrive as they love being there . I genuinely feel as the dogs feel it's a home from home and the value of that is immeasurable

What an amazing service! Bruno had such a great day being well looked after and playing with Donut. It gave us real peace of mind knowing he would be well cared for and we felt we could really trust them. A real selling point was that they picked him up and dropped him home which was one less thing to worry about on a hectic day. I’ll definitely use them again and will be recommending this to all of my friends.

First visit today for my cockerpoo, Dexter, to play with Donut....lovely warm welcome from Mark and Carys and Donut with his entourage!! Really happy with the service provided. Photos and video sent during the day of Dexter having a fab time running free in complete safety. He's one very tired doggy tonight...that's got to be a first!!! I can’t rate Donuts highly enough. They were so patient with my nervous dog having her for short visits while she became more comfortable. It’s a joy to see her running in excited to be with them.

Can't recommend enough, I was worried at how one of my dogs would cope, Cary's took this on board and had no worries. Both Carys and Mark made us feel relaxed and comfortable knowing the dogs would be secure, warm and knackered from playing with Donut.

Outstanding family run kennels, my dogs have always been looked after and come home in great shape and very happy. All the staff are helpful, friendly and great with the dogs. Thought it was only fair to post a review give the recent experience, absolutely Outstanding customer service. I had an issue with my car, and they assisted me with jump leads and a vehicle to jump it with. Never experienced customer service like it, I was already incredibly happy with the kennels but this is just next level service. Thank you all, for all the times my dogs/dog have stayed and for the extra help yesterday. Rob (vinnies dad)

Excellent service provided by all the staff at Hafod y Bryn. Barney our cockapoo had to do an extended stay which was sorted with no problems at all. He gets so excited when going to stay there so we know he's well cared for which is very comforting.

Second visit this year for Charlie and Kato and obviously well looked after. Pens are clean and all the residents appear to be comfortable and settled. We have used this cattery for a number of years and last year Charlie was unwell but the prompt attention of the staff probably saved his life, for which we were most grateful. We would have no hesitation in boarding any of our pets here at any time in the future.

Amazing cattery in a beautiful location, nice and quiet and peaceful, great service with fantastic rooms for your cat, plenty of nesting options for them and sufficient litter trays. I had my male one year old there for 16 days at a very fair price, catered for his diet needs perfectly, very tentative and caring towards him he’s come home happy as ever I will definitely be using them again. Thank you for looking after Dragon :)

Our dog struggled with over excitement when seeing other animals, since we have used the kennels he's so much calmer and content and has become a more social able dog

great kennels. staff very friendly & helpful, really good prices too. very clean & well maintained. check on google maps before going as sat nav may not take you all the way there but on the whole is very easy to find. my dog loved it, shes only been in one other kennel & was always stressed when collecting her & she did pong a bit. however these kennels seem to be a lot cleaner & more up to date as she was not at all stressed when we collected her & she smelt lovely. we will be using these kennels all the time now.

1st time my 8 mth old collie Barney had been in a kennel. I need not of worried, I was sent photos and a video of Barney via text while away and watched him playing with his friends. He was so happy and healthy when we went to collect him, he would have gone back into the play area if we let him. Have booked Barney in for another 2 visits.

My Grace absolutely loves this place!! Go’s in happily to Rachel, is always attended to, goes on proper decent walks and is exercised how she should be for the size of her and she always comes home extremely happy and tired out which I think important because it shows she’s not just sat left to her own devices. Makes me happy knowing she’s content and enjoys the company there with the other dogs. I wouldn’t leave her with anyone else. ❤️
