We are so grateful to Harriet! She stayed with our cat Frida while we were in New Zealand. Frida has chronic kidney disease and had a flare up while we were away. Harriet was absolutely brilliant, organising everything, taking her to the vet, and keeping us informed all along. It was a worrying time, especially being so far away and with the added difficulty of a huge time difference, so it was a big relief to have such a reliable, proactive and caring housesitter. We would definitely have Harriet back and highly recommend her to others.

Emma and Simon looked after my dog Nala and my mums dog shelby when I got married in the area. They had such a great time. We felt at ease leaving our fur babies with Emma and Simon as it was clear to see that they are as mad about dogs as we are. There was also a Google photo Album shared with us throughout their stay so we could see how content and happy the dogs were playing with Emma and Simons own family and fur babies Would highly recommend hounds on holiday to anyone Thank you Emma and Simon for taking such good care of Nala And Shelby.
We have an anxious Cockapoo, Oscar who I was nervous about leaving to go on holiday, but after visiting Emma & Simon (and their dogs Wanda and Merlin) with Oscar to make sure everyone was happy, we could see they were absolutely committed to ensuring he had the best time while we were away. They ask about any likes/dislikes your dog has, how you like them to be fed etc. In case of emergencies they have your pet insurance and vet info, dogs are apple ID tagged once they arrive for safety(which I found especially reassuring) The great part was receiving photos and messages daily so we could see how he was getting on. Seeing him having cuddles with everyone and lying on the sofa with Simon giving him belly rubs we knew he was happy and relaxed which was great. Absolutely recommend 100%
Emma, Simon and family are such lovely people who truly care and love your beloved dogs! I was so nervous about leaving our dog for the first time when we went abroad for our wedding but they honestly put you at ease. From little messages to photos and videos daily honestly made me smile to see him every day while we were away. Seeing him out on walks, socialising with other dogs and especially having cuddles on the sofa with everyone is just what Alfie needed while we were away.. Definitely Hounds on Holiday!! 100% recommend to anyone!!
Our little Willow (chihuahua cross) stayed with Emma and Simon overnight this week. Willow is blind and diabetic (insulin injections twice a day). It was her first stay away since the diagnosis and then going blind. We were very worried how she would cope within an unfamiliar environment and people she doesn't know. But she managed brilliantly with the excellent help from Emma and Simon. Not only did they look after Willow making sure she was safe, ate her food, had her insulin, but also updated us with photos throughout the day. Our dog Finnley's first stay here and what a wonderful and caring place for him to stay.Hes an old man with diabetes and blindness and was cared for wonderfully and we were so happy that he was safe and had his insulin, but also updated us with photos of his time there, which reassured us he was happy. Thank you both so very much for your kindness.
Our little Westie is our pride and joy and we were reluctant to leave him at a typical kennels. We found Hounds on Holiday and arranged a meet and greet at their lovely home. Emma and Simon were great and took to Rab straightaway. Rab loved the dogs there and had great fun in the garden which backs onto beautiful fields for long walks. Everything was communicated very well and we arranged a trial sleepover. Emma and Simon set up a Google photos share and very actively updated it through the sleepover, which was very comforting. When we went away we were completely satisfied and confident Rab would be cared for incredibly well. We had many daily photos where he was treated like one of the family; exactly what was needed. I cannot recommend this couple enough. Genuine dog lovers who treated our boy like a prince. Would definitely use Emma and Simon again. Thank you very much, Hounds on Holiday. Superb!
Fantastic! Tilly had never stayed away from home and we were apprehensive about who I'd be happy sending her to. We needn't have worried as Emma and Simon really did treat her like one of their own beautiful dogs, we received regular photos of her playing and enjoying her time away with her new doggy friends. We cannot recommend Hounds on Holidays enough we're so happy with by far the best doggy care you could hope for. Tilly had the best time!

My very spoilt pooch was looked after beautifully for one week. Simon and Emma sent me photos every day, gave my dog his medication and treated him like one of their family. I would definitely recommend Hounds on Holiday.

Debbie took the time to understand our needs and get to know our Labrador before finding him the best possible fit while we were away for 10 days. She found a family who already had labs and who welcomed him into their home with open arms. We received regular pictures and updates while away. Couldn’t recommend Debbie and team enough. They are professional, friendly and above all care about your pets as much as you do! X
We came across We Love Pets Hereford simply from seeing a lady in a clearly advertised red t shirt walking a dog down our road. We were in need of a dog walker due to going away for a few days and from just that first sighting she looked so kind and caring, and the dog genuinely looked like he had a smile on his face! I immediately found the website and contacted Deb who got back to me right away and we had a lovely chat about my beagle Lexi on the phone first and then she came to the house for a little encounter with her personally. That went really well and Lex wouldn’t leave her side! We arranged the days and times that Lex would be walked and where everything would be left as well as discussing her individual needs and routines. The ladies who came to the house to walk her did an amazing job and everything that I had asked them to do. We also received some lovely photos of Lexi on every walk they took her on which was really reassuring. The house was left exactly as I had left it but with one very tired and happy dog sprawled on the sofa! We have used We Love Pets Hereford a few times now and Deb has been so wonderful, even when I’ve rung her last minute! We will always recommend to any friends or family and will most certainly continue to use their reliable and passionate service in the future. My usual pet sitter recommended We Love Pets as she was unable to look after our basset hound while we went away for a couple of days. Debs was lovely to communicate with and the meet and greet went well. She asked lots of important questions about Logan which was professional and reassuring. We were given daily updates on how he was doing, and it was wonderful to see him getting cuddles and going out on walkies. On coming home, Logan was relaxed and evidently well taken care of, and the house was just as we left it. Like many of you out there, it is of the upmost importance that you find the right people to walk and care for your fur babies. After meeting Debs at We Love Pets, Hereford. It was clear to both my wife and I that they really care for your pets and want what’s best for them. We’ve been with Debs and her team for a few months now, and couldn’t wish for more trustworthy, reliable and accommodating dog walkers than what we got. I'm so please with the care that Debs has given our Cat Gertie, I enjoy the daily updates and photos I received from her about our cat. So reassuring when you are away from home and wondering if they are OK. Debs also brings in the post , waters plants etc. An absolute Godsend.
Debs and her team did a super job of feeding, looking after and keeping our 5 cats very happy for 3 weeks. It was very reassuring to leave our cats in we love pets capable hands, particularly our diabetic cat which has to be injected twice a day. They visited twice prior to us going to have test run to make sure we were all happy. We will definitely continue to use we love pets great services.
Debs was fantastic - our cats loved her and warmed to her straight away! You can tell she cares a lot about animals, demonstrated by how she got down on the floor to greet our cats - they’d never responded so well to a stranger before, it was amazing! She went the extra mile for us, literally, by coming a bit further out of Hereford than usual to make sure our 2 cats were well looked after while we were on holiday. She did a thorough consultation with us so we felt confident all information was communicated and kept us updated everyday how our cats were doing. We highly recommend her and will be using her services again, for sure!
We are relatively new to we love pets but so far very impressed with the service. We have a very anxious Labrador who takes a long time to trust new people. Deb has been very patient and has put in a lot of time and effort into building a bond with our girl, to ensure she is comfortable and happy. Would highly recommend!
We used We Love Pets Hereford for our wedding to look after our dog for the day as we wanted her included in the day but knew it would be difficult to have her around all day. I couldn’t recommend them more. Debs was amazing, kept me updated and informed of all requirements and ran everything so smoothly. Lovely Tracey who is dog boarder for We Love Pets recently had our miniature dachshund for 9 nights for the first time. We loved the regular updates & photos so we didn’t worry about him. We could tell Ron was very much at home & loved Tracey as it’s not often he settles on people’s laps because he is so energetic. Debbie was brilliant in keeping us updated and we had a few meet & greets beforehand to ensure they knew all of Ron’s needs. Our Ron came back home & he’s been his happy little self so I really feel like it was a holiday for him too. We will be booking again very shortly for our next holiday! Thank you so much for having our Ron & looking after him so we didn’t worry whilst we were away.
Our dog, Stanley, stayed at Larkholme for the first time this weekend. We left our dog with the knowledge he would be well looked after, as I had previously had an appointment to look around the premises and was very impressed with what they offer. I was impressed to learn that there are always 3 members of staff on-site. The day we come back from our getaway saw severe floods hit many parts of Herefordshire, Claire was flexible in allowing my parents to pick Stanley up, outside of their normal opening times, before the floods got too bad. Thank you, we received a very happy dog when we finally made it home. We have found our new kennels of choice! William
Amazing owners who do know how to look after German Shepherds. We have two. They are amazing with them and caring. Would highly recommend for all dogs and cats. We have used them for every holiday. They give us comfort and peace of mind, knowing our dogs and two cats are in a safe and friendly holiday home.
Our cat stayed for 9 days with Larkholme for the first time while we were on holiday and it was great. They were very professional, very friendly. It was obvious they were going to make a fuss of him during his stay. You are allocated a specific drop off/pick up time which makes it very relaxed for your pet. He came away with a very nice goodie bag when we picked him up. Have already booked him in again for two weeks in the summer.
Clare and family have created a fantastic place for pet holidays. Our girls have stayed multiple times and always enjoy their stay. The Facebook photos during their stay show us the girls having fun. When we pick them up it is clear that they are healthy, happy, and have had a fantastic time. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
If you want peace of mind for your pup, this is the place. There may be cheaper options, but all of the staff here fill us with confidence that our little guy is well looked after. The daily photos allow us to check in, and he always appears to be enjoying his holiday as much as we are our own.

Herbie our 11 month old Boxer appears to have loved his two night stay. First time for Herbie, but we have used Larkholme for a number of years. There's since been a change of ownership and I still wouldn't use anywhere else.
Our 2 Papillons have stayed here twice, they absolutley loved it. They were very happy and looking smart when we picked them up. They had been looked after very well indeed. The owners and staff are lovely and very helpful, would not send our dogs anywhere else. Also the daily photo updates on Facebook put your mind at rest when you are away, you can see how happy they are.
The first time we've used Larkholme and after the boys (2 Rotties) stay of six days I can highly recommend. The initial booking in and information given about their care and stay was excellent, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We dropped the off the boys and immediately felt at ease. Daily photos of the dogs and cats were posted and all having fun playing, they came home happy and clean with a little treat bag. This is the best kennels we have used in Hereford, couldn't be happier. Boys booked in again for their next little break. Big Thank you to everyone at Larkholme.
Woodys Petcare looked after our 2 cats whilst we were on holiday, both cats were really relaxed and content when we got home so we knew they had been we'll cared for. We also received updates and knew they were in safe hands. Highly recommend and we will be using them again.
A caring and well-managed dog boarding centre that ensures the welfare of each dog comes first. I trust Sarah because she is insured, lisenced and genuinely adores dogs. They have so much outdoor exercise and are never left to boredom.

Our beagle Poppy absolutely loves going to Cosy Toes for her holidays always very happy wagging her tail. It's great to be able to take her to the kennel and settle her in, owners & staff are super friendly. I love that she never comes home stinking of kennels as they are super clean, highly recommend
Our five dogs stayed recently at Cosy Toes. Ellie is amazing as are all the staff. The kennels are spotless as well as the exercise areas. They all came home after a 12 day stay happy and healthy. Would recommend 100%
Used the kennels for the first time in a while. I have to say I was impressed by the new owners. Harvey clearly had a fantastic time. I did put my dog in the kennels and went to collect him out from there. I personally like this as I don't like the thought of my dog going somewhere that I can't see it proves to me that they have nothing to hide. Harvey was exercised well and was extremely happy when he came out. I wish you every success at cosy toes Ellie and Di. Harvey will be back 😉
Just come back from a few days in Hereford, I stayed at the Travelodge, my dog, Bracken, stayed at Cosy Toes. The Kennels were spotlessly clean, and smelt fresh, the whole kennel area was light and bright and the sleeping quarters were well heated.. Ellie and Di, the owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and Bracken obviously enjoyed it, going by the wagging tale. Will certainly use Cosy Toes again..
Og absolutely loves it at Cosy Toes Kennels. He comes out of his kennel to sniff me and have a fuss but wants to play with the kennel girls which shows you how much he loves them. He also loved the owners son showing him how to do agility see saw. It’s the first time I have felt safe leaving him and knowing he is being well looked after. He can be a bit hyper with craving attention but they understand he loves to have LOTS of fuss and play.
Used these kennels prior to the change of ownership and am pleased to say that the new (well four years or more!) owners have maintained the high standards of care. No hesitation in recommending this kennel.

My dog bella has been going to cosytoes for Two your,InJuly 2015 I took bella to cosytoes for a weeks holiday on approaching the gate I was met by the new owners of cosytoes did not feel welcome. Bella wosntn't greeted at the gate I had to put her in the kennels myself. On the return I had to collect bella from kennels myself with the new owner stand behind the fence it seamed she hadn't been walked all week she went complete crazy when I pick her up she never be like that before it seams there only interest in taking the money first dogs come second definitely not to be recommended under new owners Adam

I have a beautiful Doberman, she does amazing in day care, so I started for look for one closer to work and seen this one. I went to find out more, to my surprise they won’t take her because of what she is. They didn’t even give her a chance. Recommend k9 cares. Much more open to taking you dog based on it character rather than it’s reputation. Really hope reconsider in future.
Absolutely love this Doggy Daycare! So helpful and supportive with nervous dogs. They worked with mine to help her settle and now she's so much better with other dogs and in different environments. Such a welcoming and nice environment. Dogs offered lots of enrichment activities and play opportunities. Isn't over full so dogs have room to play but also find a quiet spot if they need some down time. Like that when you collect you get a report of what your dog has been up to that day which is good to know as they undertake enrichment games and social activities to develop on training etc which you can carry on at home. Would 100% recommend here to anyone looking for doggy daycare.
Cannot fault the care my dog receives when he goes to Home from Home. You can tell from the moment you walk through the door that the whole team care for each and every dog as if it were their own. I have noticed a big difference in my dogs confidence in meeting other dogs since he has been going. Jo and James have created a safe enviroment for dogs to socialise well with each other. Arthur has only been a couple of times so far but has absolutely loved his experience. The team have been immensely friendly and welcoming, and you can definitely see their passion and love for all the dogs! Arthur will definitely be coming back!

The owners are passionate about dogs and it shows in their care. They managed to fit us in with weeks to spare before our holiday. I was nervous about the dog staying somewhere new but I shouldn't have worried. He had a great time and was well looked after. Will be using them again next year.
Excellent service and highly recommend. Just collected our puppy after the break away and it’s the first time he’s been away. We were sent photos during the stay and had communication throughout his stay here. Secure premises and have already booked in for him to stay again.

Absolute madhouse. Staff nice enough but untrained. Nearly killed my dog by playing with hosepipe with her all day. Owner Paige tried to blame my dog for being obsessed with water. She’s a border collie and very clever but funny enough can’t turn tap on herself. Thank God Holmer vets saved her life, only just. Paige couldn’t care less. Wouldn’t even pay excess unless I signed a document to say it wasn’t their fault when it clearly was. Go to K9 now. Responsible owners with well trained staff. Far more organised and calming for your dog. Also their opening times are not what it says on website, they open later and close earlier. False totally inaccurate advertising.
Can’t recommend this daycare enough! We have two teeny dogs who absolutely love Paige and her caring team! Paige has been really understanding of our schedule, always professional, and we think it’s a good price for two tired doggies after a day of fun :)
Bellas trail day today which went really well. Thank you to Hannah and Lilly who were polite, informative and excellent when I dropped and collected Bella. Look forward to having Bella come to the Wags Club a couple of days per week. Thank you. As you can see Bella is shattered!!
