It was my absolute pleasure to housesit for Belinda and her lovely family. The house is amazing and in a gorgeous location. The wildlife around the house (inc some beautiful peacocks) and along the river is fabulous and the area is a walker's paradise. Echo and Tatty are just the most adorable dogs. They enjoy their walks so much and are so full of love they are a joy to be with and take care of. The chickens are a delight and the cats easy to care for too. So thank you Belinda for giving me the opportunity of housesitting for you and I am looking forward to returning.
I will thank Suzie and her 3 amazing dogs for being the most incredible hosts for the rest of my life. When Corona hit, I was at Suzie's home and she graciously allowed me to stay an extra 10 days, as all of my other Trusted Housesitter sits vanished because of people staying at home. I decided to head back to the States when it appeared that International travel was ceasing all around the globe. And still, Suzie and I worked together as a household. I was truly sad to go and trust that I will be back. Thank you Suzie, Tilly, Dylon, and sweet Benji. You all hold a sweet space in my heart.
It was a pleasure caring for Emily's home and sweet pups! The dogs were so adorable and friendly, very easy to take care of. Emily's home is very comfortable and I felt at home immediately! The area is awesome, so many fantastic restaurants and specialty stores within walking diatance. I would sit for Emily in a heartbeat!
Five lovely doggies in a big house in a very small village in Spain. The use of their care was necessary and very helpfull There are a lot of opportunities to walk in the surroundings with a lot of orchards Pete and Sue are very friendly hosts and even let us have my mother and sister to come and stay with us in their house. The dogs are very cute and loved walks and cuddles The wifi and televisions were perfect We had a great time👍
We had a great stay at Emma and Leo's farm. We received a very warm welcome and got on really well with Emma and Leo. We had a day and a half overlap before they set off on their trip with their son and during this time we received a good introduction to our tasks, which included watering the herb and vegetable garden, the baby plants and newly planted trees, as well as feeding the dogs and emptying the toilets. We were definitely well prepared. The three incredibly adorable dogs were of course our absolute highlight. The three of them are totally lovely and each has their own mind and character, but they are all just great and it was definitely hard to say goodbye to them. It's definitely a very simple life on the farm and you have to be aware that you really do live very remotely there. It takes about 1 hour to get to the nearest town for shopping. So if you really want to have a reset of everything, the farm is definitely the right place for you. For us, it was a bit too far away from everything in the long run, but we managed to get our time around quite well. All in all, we are very happy with our first housesit experience. Lola and Dora were lovely and full of fun! Our stay was very comfortable and the area was great. There is plenty of things to do at home and there is a great backyard for the dogs. Karen and Ben kept in touch and nothing was a problem. 😀
