Courtney did a great job with our pets and house. Our dog, Roux, took to Courtney immediately and they were buddies pretty much from the beginning. She made sure that Roux had plenty of exercise throughout her stay. Things started off more challenging with our cat, Milo, than either of us expected and Courtney was communicative with us and very patient with Milo. Thankfully, they became friends mid-way through her stay and we are very grateful that Courtney made such an effort to keep both pets happy and comfortable.
At the end of her stay, she left the house neat and stripped the bed and started laundry. She offered to have an in-person check-in before she left when we came back from a trip or to leave before we arrived. We chose to have the in-person wrap up meeting and it was great to see how at ease both Roux and Milo were with her. We would happily recommend her to others.

We’ve had the absolute best time looking after Simba and Paka. Paka is more shy of the two, but once she saw Simba warming up to us, so did she. They are such friendly, affectionate cats. The kids enjoyed playing with them and giving them cuddles. In the evening, they’d settle with us on the sofa and we enjoyed their company.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish as Lucy and Felix went above and beyond to make us feel welcome - a comprehensive welcome guide, tips of what to do in Bern laid out in google maps, suggestions of what the children might enjoy (as well as warning as of how busy it may be due to a swiss holiday), and as much info on the cats as possible to ensure we understand them well. The communication was smooth and seamless and their home was beautiful and spotless. The children enjoyed playing in the garden, too.
The flat was very convenient for exploring Bern, with the bus stop right outside that takes you to the main station.

We were all sad to leave Simba and Paka. It goes without saying that we highly recommend this sit and won’t hesitate to come back if our dates align in the future.

Thank you so much Lucy and Felix for trusting us with your pets and for ensuring we had such a lovely time - we are ever so grateful.

It was a pleasure to look after Maisie and the ponies. Maisie is such a lovely dog and was very sweet with my dog, and they both had endless fun playing together. I was there over a very cold snap and the sunrises and sunsets were pretty magical in the frost! It was so nice to be able to ride out in such a beautiful location with the dogs and to come back and warm up in front of the fire, and Nelly and I had a fab time!

We had a great time spending a week with Diesel, a senior Goldendoodle, in a gorgeous home in the charming coastal town of Capitola. Mike and Kristy are wonderful to house sit for as they are very welcoming, friendly, easy-going, and communicative. We had a chance to meet in person prior to the sit, but if that hadn't been possible, there's plenty of information / instruction between their detailed listing, comprehensive Welcome Guide, and last minute notes sent over text by Kristy after they left for the airport. Their recently renovated house looks like something out of a magazine but at the same time is very cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and a great place to take Diesel on his daily walk. (It's more of a meandering as he is having trouble with his back legs as he ages, and breathes heavily with slightest exertion. So we made sure to let him set the pace and not go too far.) He has a beautiful fenced backyard to hang out in, as well. Diesel is an absolute sweetheart and we fell in love with him immediately. He didn't need any time warming up to us, he seems to love making new friends wherever he goes, whoever he meets. Being elderly, he sleeps all afternoon but then enjoys playing with his toys and getting lots of petting and attention after his dinner. At night, Diesel sleeps downstairs while the pet sitter sleeps upstairs in one of two lovely guest rooms, each with a large en-suite bathroom. Very comfortable king-size beds! Being separated by a floor from Diesel at night, and knowing he has trouble getting up from a sleeping position, we made sure to check on him before settling down to sleep ourselves, and again by 7am each morning. But while we were there, he did fine all through the night. And he was happy to continue to snooze until about 9am, so we would often doze until then on the supremely comfortable couch enjoying warmth from the gas fireplace. Diesel is easy to care for overall, you just have to know going in that he will usually need help getting up off the floor (so you have to be able to gently reach around his lower midsection and lift him up as he gains his footing, and he is a large dog). But he is so gentle, smart, and has so much love to give. During his more active time of day, he made us laugh by being a big goof-ball. We highly recommend this house sit and look forward to caring for sweet Diesel again.

We were lucky to spend two lovely weeks at Julie and Colin's home. It was a great pleasure to take care of and spend time with their fabulous cat, Jinny. Jinny is the most funny, smart and sweetest lady you will ever meet. Very playfull with lots of energy. The house had a wonderfull vibe, we just felt at home immediately. Also, the house is tastefull and beautifull decorated. Colin and Julie are very kind people, welcoming and friendly. We kept in contact throughout our stay via messaging and they were always responsive.
We had a great stay and would like to thank Julie and Colin very much for their trust in us to take care of Jinny and their home. It would be our pleasure to take care of Jinny again in the future!

Since we live nearby De Haan, we were invited for a meet and greet before the start of this sit. This permitted taking our time in getting to know Duncan and Marie-Béatrice, the house and Pipacs and Mezcal.
We found Duncan and Marie-Béatrice to be very warm and friendly, loving people. We felt really spoilt by their generosity. Pipacs and Mezcal are well trained, very friendly easy to handle dogs. We took them in the car to De Haan's beach and woods and made long walks with them. It's such a joy to see them enjoy themselves. Never did we have a problem with any other dogs we encountered; even on our first walk without lead near the sea, they stayed very close to us.
The house is magnificent, the surroundings offer an open view and De Haan is a very pleasant village with a rarely found jovial atmosphere.
Thank you Duncan and Marie-Béatrice for having us. If we forgot to mention something, we'll make it up to you after our next sit, which we are hoping for.
