Daniel was amazing with my nervous housecat, kept in touch and made sure my cat was really well cared for- and has oodles of patience! Thank you so much!

This sit was a little piece of heaven cake! Theo and Sebastian are an absolute dynamic duo, (they get along great)very communicative in their own way, and will give you a serious oxytocin boost if you let them. I loved all their snuggles.
You must know that Theo is a community celebrity, so be ready to meet the neighbors and their dogs. He also has opinions about the route you take for your walk, don't worry he is a gentleman about it but will let you know with a stiff leg when he'd rather make a different turn. The community is gorgeous and taking him for walks was beautiful with all the spring blossoms. The home is equipped with everything you might need and Kim was very kind and communicative.

I highly recommend this sit and hope to be back someday myself.

I had a fantastic time at this house sit! Baby is the sweetest cat I’ve had the pleasure of house sitting, she was very affectionate and full of cuddles. Emmitt and Quinn were the first ever goats I’ve had house sitting. They were very well-trained and surprisingly easy to care for. Not only were they great, their lovely house is in a great neighborhood – super quiet, yet very centrally located if you are looking to do some sightseeing or other things in the area. The guest bed was especially comfy. Chelsey was also very organized, a great communicator, and just overall a great human being. There were plenty of her friends and family to reach out to in the neighborhood in case of any issues. I highly recommend this sit!

We had such a fantastic time housesitting Rupert in Brunswick!

The house is in a great area, nearby shops, bars and cafes to enjoy.

Charlotte was so fantastic, friendly and welcoming to us. She was really flexible to our needs and made us feel so welcome in her beautiful home. She had great communication before and throughout the sit!

Rupert is such a wonderful cat, he was easy to look after and loved lazing about in the sun during the day and cuddling us in the evenings. We absolutely fell in love with him!

Thank you Charlotte for such a wonderful sit!

Looking after sweet Lyra was a treat! Maddy was so kind and excellent with communication. Her apartment is lovely and it’s literally steps from the DLR tube! Lyra was incredibly shy the first two days, as Maddy predicted, but with treats and patience Lyra totally opened up. She was a chatty little love ball. I would care for her again in a heartbeat!

My sit for Bella and Tara (aka Pablo) was one of those pinch-me sits - two gorgeous pooches, a stunning location, and the generosity of Jenny and Martin. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Bella and Tara are both heart-melters, in their individual ways. The bond Bella and I shared was strong, perhaps because I was part of her recovery from knee surgery during our 8 weeks together. I've always wanted an entourage and with, Bella, I got one. When she looks deep into your eyes, you know you can do anything; Bella believes in you!

If Bella was my confidence-boosting new best friend, Tara was like the one who gets you to go to the gym. While utterly dismayed that my ball throwing skills did not match Martin's, we quickly found a new game of tag, played on the gorgeous beach that was just steps (no shoes needed) from Jenny and Martin's secure home. How perfect to run down the beach together, every single day. Great for the soul for both of us. Tara is deaf, but it took little time to adjust my behaviour to suit this elderly ailment. Other than that, Tara was far fitter than many younger dogs.

Both Bella and Tara have medicine requirements but these are easily administered (and wolfed down) at each meal. Jenny left clear instructions for this, and every other instance, in her chock-full welcome guide. Emergency funds were helpfully supplied, plus both were available on WhatsApp during the trip in a group chat. WhatsApp was great to share the model-like pics of Bella and Tara, too.

It was fabulous to have use of a car during my stay. While a supermarket is within walking distance, the better ones were a drive away. I didn't explore as much of Cape Town as expected, simply because the home, beach, and company were too good!

On a side note, as a solo international female traveller, I was concerned about safety in Cape Town, but this was unnecessary and media reports are far over-hyped. Yes, you need commonsense, but beyond that, I felt safe. The estate that Jenny and Martin's house is on is secure and I felt safe walking Tara on the beach, and both dogs around the compound, even for the pre-bed pee. Also, I felt safe driving, plus I joined hiking groups so I could enjoy the gorgeous Cape Town scenery.

As Jenny and Martin move soon, you may be, reading this review and heading to their new Cyprus home. While you're not getting the gorgeous lounge and deck views of Table Mountain, you will still be getting the fine company of Bella and Tara and for that, I'd travel the world.

Thank you, Jenny and Martin, for trusting me with the two best dogs in the world! I will see you all again for a future sit, for sure.

Remi is a big goof-tons of energy and loves Jasper but also gets jealous of him sometimes. Remi's is such a sweetheart she will whine to get up on the couch so make sure you use the keep off pads. Just turning the sound on was enough to deter her from trying. She was obsessed with the Christmas tree and liked to low crawl under it-I was a soldier in the US Army and she could give me a run for my money. They do give parking tickets on the street out front of the house so make sure you park in the designated spot in the alley. The fenced in yard and dog door allowed Remi to run in and out of the house when she would get her zoomies, and both dogs gave me no trouble in their crates overnight. Billies neighbors have dogs and she lives in a gorgeous historic part of Philly. There was a Holiday by Trolley Car House Tour going on right down the block while I was there. I didn't need to access the basement or top floor but the bed was comfortable and I just stripped the linens-threw them in the wash and dishes in the dishwasher so they could be sanitized (in the time of Covid) and I never had any difficulties with the WiFi. If you give Jasper too much attention Remi can bully him a bit especially on walks, but both pups groom each other lay together and Jasper will play with Remi, just make sure Remi doesn't get too rough. Also, Remi knows the command "release" so you can throw the ball or bone if you don't want to play tug. Do not leave any food anywhere she can access though-she's wicked fast & even foil paper towels etc can't fool her nose. I did not get to meet Billie's kids but if they are like their mother than they are probably great company 👍
