Kira and Riley watched over our home and three dogs Daisy, Dahlia, and Fritz. From the very beginning, Kira and Riley were both extremely professional and communicative. We immediately started receiving updates such as flight itineraries once they were confirmed for the sit. This gave us peace of mind that everything was going to run smoothly. Kira and Riley arrived on island few days before our sit and came over to meet me and the pups in person. From the very beginning of their first meet, the dogs were extremely comfortable with Kira and Rileys’ positive communication and love. While we were gone, we received numerous photo and video updates that helped give us peace of mind. They treated our dogs, exactly how we treat them… as family. We returned home to a very cleaned and organized home and guest room. We would love for them to come back as repeat sitters in the future.
Despite the fact that Elena left the house in uninhabitable condition with terrible intense smell inside, which after 5days of living in it turned out to be leaking gas which required the firefighters to intervene twice, everything else was fine. This whole situation stressed us enough that during this stay, it was the only thing we thought about. Communication with Elena and Tim was on point but we had a feeling that they didn't actually realized how bad the situation was and how serious damage it could have caused to us and the whole house. Regardless of what happened we really enjoyed the sit. The house is lovely and spacious, neighbors are very friendly and caring, and whole neighborhood seemed safe. We didn't get the chance to meet Luna and Ghost but In hindsight, it turned out for the best because we don't know how the dogs would have handled such conditions and whether it would have affected their health, especially since we would have been able to spend the whole day outside not inhaling gas while they would have had to stay indoors.
