Sally, Jim and their children were amazing hosts and some of the kindest people I've ever met. They were so welcoming, I felt completely at home from the moment I arrived. Sally prepared a comfortable and beautiful guest room and made sure I had everything I need. The pets were absolutely amazing to take care of. Harris and Whiskey are so much fun and will run around the garden with you all day if you want. They also are east because they don't even need to be walked if you don't want to as they stay in the the area of the house and come back when called. Lady, the horse, and all of the birds are so sweet too and so much fun to take care of (especially the goose haha, total drama King)☺️. The animals are very low maintenance as well. They just need lots of love, food and water and egg collecting of course...lots of egg collecting! Yorkshire is absolutely beautiful! The walks are stunning the there are so many bridleways to explore right outside the door. You'll see sheep, highland cows, deer, hares, pheasants and so much more in your homes in the area so if you love wildlife and nature, this sit is for you!
I had a wonderful time looking after Milly and Tilly for six weeks, including Christmas 2019. The pair are a delight, so amenable, friendly and easy to look after. They were great companions. Neil left a comprehensive pack setting out all the ‘how to’s, and also including emergency contact details. I stayed the night before the sit and he went though the dogs routine, and the various walks in the area. He had also sent photos and an introduction before the sit, so I felt that we were not strangers when we first met. All in all a wonderful and relaxing time in Wales.
We had an incredible time with Mia in beautiful Comox. She is such a special pup, it was a privilege getting to know her and we LOVED exploring the trails together. We already miss her so much! Ash and Glenn have a wonderful home, and couldn't have been more generous and welcoming - the list of everything they did for us is too long to write here, but they went above and beyond and we are so grateful. Thank you for the perfect sit and see you again soon!
We loved taking care of Hazel! She is very sweet! Melissa was super communicative so we knew exactly what to expect and that made everything easy. Her house is lovely, well organized and is in a very walkable neighborhood. We were very comfortable and felt right at home!
Felicity is a very special human whose environment and animal friends reflect that spirit of joy and tranquility. Her pets are very peaceful, she is attentive to the wildlife around her home so that adds to the attentive quality of your stay. The cats do come indoors when called and when you tune into the rythm of their feedings it becomes quite harmonious retreat. The setting is in the high desert pinion juniper woodland of santa fe , plenty of nice hikes to be had and then return to the private and lovely confines of this hand built home. My son loved playing with the cats and seeing the Avery squirrels.
I loved my time here! All the cats are super sweet and warmed up to me pretty easily. The ducks and Tokyo were very fun to watch. The ducks kept to themselves, but Tokyo came out to say hi a couple times and he was very curious about my shoes! I really appreciate the all detailed information I got, made things very easy!

We brought our 1.5 year old Doberman here for boarding for the 1st time..safe to say she had an absolute blast!!! She is completely exhausted after her stay, we loved the updated pictures and reports cards daily. We will definitely be back for day care, events, and boarding when necessary. Highly recommend especially for people with big breed dogs, they handled it with ease. ❤️
Dan's Daycare is no joke THE BEST place for your fur babies! Me and my boyfriend have tried every sitter, every daycare, and nothing compares to Dan's! We have a European Doberman and it's been hard to find a daycare and boarding center that ACTUALLY know what they are doing! Everyone at Dan's knows what they are doing, SO reliable, and treat your dog like their own. I can't say enough amazing things! BIG BENEFIT: Daily report cards with all the cutest photos taken from the day! I mean common! They did a Hawaiian Luau and just look how adorable
Dans Pet Care is amazing! I’ve done boarding and doggie day care. My pup has a lot of energy and is crate trained so I was worried about the crate free boarding but they went through everything with me and he did great. Everyday whether it’s daycare or boarding I would get a report. The last time I boarded him they gave him a bath and he smelled amazing for a month! They are also magicians because on the luau day they got him in a Hawaiian shirt, I don’t know how but they did and he sat still for the pic. It was amazing! He loves their kiddie pools & the entire staff is so excited to see him everytime he comes. He can be a lot sometimes with his high energy and he fits right in with all the other pups. I’m so grateful for the entire team at Dans Pet Care.
After having a very bad experience at Dogtopia with my poor baby Max, I can say I found the perfect place. Max now is happy going to his half-days and little by little his super fear and nervousness is changing. 🙏Joe has provided a lot of help for Max and more than thinking about money he thinks about the well-being of my dog and we are following his recommendations so that Max enjoys his play time- half days at Dan's petcare and Soon I know that Max will be ready to spend a full day playing, Julia in front desk is very special with puppys too I love her ☺️All the staff are very friendly and loving with the puppies, I love receiving the report cards and photos of the day, ☺️ thank you everyone!

Dan’s pet care is a gem!!! My dog absolutely LOVES the day care facility, and the walkers who come to visit. This is the most nurturing, fun, safe, happy environment for our fur baby. Dan’s team is fantastic. They’re beyond so friendly and so good to our dog, Beau. He always comes out with a big smile! I think his favorite part is the outdoor area with sprinklers : ) We were so grateful that they toured us around the facility before Beau’s first day and love the daily report cards too.
We can’t say enough good things about Dan’s. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facility is spotless, and they’ve really gone the extra mile for the dogs — pools, luaus, smoothies… the list goes on. :) We’ve been so thrilled with Dan’s but, this weekend, they went WAY above and beyond. Our dog needed medical treatment while boarding. Dan took her to our local vet, got her started with antibiotics, and even offered to take her to his house for the night, so she’d been more comfortable and he could keep an eye. We got updates from Dan and the vet, and our dog is doing great. The takeaway: this crew really, REALLY cares. Dan loves dogs and it shows. And at the end of the day, that’s who you want caring for your pets. We’re so happy to have found Dan’s. I couldn’t recommend anyone or any business more highly. Thank you, Dan and team. Since day 1, the staff at Dan’s Pet Care in Glen Cove have been nothing but welcoming & friendly. My pup was greeted with open arms & so much love. Drop off is available at 7 am which is a HUGE help with my work schedule. Late pickup is also available if needed. The process started off sending my pup to a temperament test to see where she would be best during the day. Then once passed, she was okayed to go to day care! The dogs are separated based on size. There’s also an outdoor area for when the nice days come around. Mid-day, you get a report card of how your pup is doing and you also get some pictures! Any special needs, the staff takes into consideration. The staff really seems to really care about each individual dog which makes me feel more than comfortable to send her there. Once she came home, she immediately curled up in her bed & took a nap, she was exhausted from a long day of playing! Will absolutely take advantage of all the great things Dan’s Pet Care has to offer!
House of the Woofers is the most pawsome place in the universe. I have been going there since I was a pup and it is always great fun. My mom says it’s the only daycare that she trusts. I really like climbing on the playset, seeing my friends and getting belly rubs. I don’t like leaving playtime to get my nails cut but my mom says it’s for my health and I do always feel better after a pedicure. My mom really likes watching their Instagram stories and seeing pictures of me with my friends. Sometimes if my mom is working late, they’ll even drive me home in the pet taxi. I’m really excited to show off my costume at the Halloween party in a few weeks. If your a dog thinking about daycare, this is the spot. Other than the couch, this is paws down, my favorite place! 🐾

I brought Baba for the first time to do a meet & greet with other dogs for when we need daycare services. The staff were kind and professional- you can tell that they love the dogs. They asked excellent questions about Baba and introduced each dog he met with info about its personality, carefully noting how they interacted. Dao asked many questions about what I wanted done for Baba- very specificly because she wanted to make sure she understood exactly what to do. She groomed Baba perfectly and wanted to make sure that I was happy with the results before we left. She also noted specific things that I should know - like a small irritation he had and explained exactly which services were performed. I was very impressed- a lot of people had recommended this place and they were right!
House of the Woofers is the easiest choice we've made in regards to our puppy. The owner of the business is incredibly knowledgeable about all things dog. He also knows the dogs that he cares for - their personalities, their health issues - as if the dogs were his own. From our first experience "meeting" the other puppies, to our continued daycare and boarding at Woofers, everything has been easy and reasonably priced. Most importantly, I also know that our pup is safe and well-cared for. She LOVES going to Woofers. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for doggy daycare, boarding, or grooming.

I can’t be anymore happy with House Of Woofers!!!! We rescued our Dog Daisy 4 1/2 years ago - she was 8 and now she is 12 1/2- we were never able to go anywhere always needed our kids to come back home to take care of her she never trusted or was friendly with new people!!! But then we met Alan - after talking on the phone and explaining our situation he made a visit to the house to see Daisy!!! After trying to come into the house to meet her she was not having it - so we did the meet outside went for a walk with her / along the way we switched the leash to have Alan handle her and she immediately trusted and loved him!!! He was able to handle her , feed her , play and even enter the home!!! Truly amazed we were how Daisy took to him and his gentle nature!!! Alan also had 2 of his workers come also to meet Daisy and proceeded same way to meet her outside - go for a walk switch the leash and the rest is history !! We can’t thank Hector and Dennis enough for taking care of Our sweet girl!!!! It’s not easy to come into a home where a dog is sooo protective but they all made it happen and we’ve gone from not being able to really go anywhere for long periods of time to being able to enjoy a few nights away knowing that Daisy was in great hands!!! Updates for each walk and time spent are recorded on the App along with pictures and videos so we can see how she is doing and if any concerns come up Alan will call us just to be sure all is great!!!! We are truly grateful to Alan and his crew for making dog parenting a bit easier!!!!

We love Dan’s Pet service as do our pets! We have 2 labradoodles and a tuxedo cat. We have used Dan’s for a couple of years now for overnights, walks, feeding, medicine dispensing, as well as rides to the groomer. The walkers and sitters always send us the cutest photos and sweet updates on how they are doing while we are gone. It gives us peace of mind that our animals are being cared for as we would care for them. They always respond and are even available last minute. Dan’s is a pleasure to work with and we are grateful for their care and services!
I first started using Dan's Pet Care when I had surgery and was unable to walk my dog. It was unexpected surgery so I had to get help quickly. They were very accommodating. They were very professional - on time, very good with him, and tired him out! Since then I have been receiving their emails about their services and gain valuable dog care tips along the way! For example, how they limit their walks when it is excruciatingly hot outside. When the time came for me to find help while I went to work, I knew where I wanted to bring my now 2 pups! They had opened their crate free boarding & day care facility! And even though I do not live close by, it is 100% worth the investment and travel time. They have multiple team members with all eyes on the dogs. The facility is set up so they have tons of room to run and play. It is super clean. They are upfront and honest about everything going on in their facility and well organized. I have also boarded my dogs overnight there. They were snuggled up on a bed! Looked like a slumber party! They pay attention to detail with every dog. One of my dogs has a lot of allergies and I don't have to worry about her getting into anything she shouldn't and don't have to worry about them giving her anything she shouldn't have either. The best part is how excited and loving everyone there is and how excited my pups are to spend time there! I get daily report cards and pictures which further adds to my peace of mind. When traveling or away for the day, we've relied on Dan's to walk, feed, play with and visit our two dogs, a lab and a multipoo. One staff member is kinder and more professional than the next, and the dogs are treated like THEIR family members. We've done several overnights, all of which have been great. We especially love the app, which allows us to easily make appointments and receive detailed updates about the visits with our dogs. They even include photos. We never have a worry when someone from Dan's is with our dogs. And, they treat our home with respect and care. This is one of my favorite businesses of all time!

Noelle was amazing! We called her last minute on Christmas Eve and she was so kind to take my dog in since she had space and welcomed us into her home. My dog had the best time and we have definitely found our go to person when we need to board my dog! We got text and picture updated throughout my dog’s stay. My dog is a larger dog and high energy and she came home super happy and exhausted! Nothing could make a pet parent happier!

There’s being a dog sitter as a job and there is being a dog sitter as a passion and Noelle is the latter. Noelle’s reasons in why she started this business is heartfelt and relatable to every pet owner and she treated our shih-tzu and yorkie like her own. In the five days in being away, Noelle kept constant communication and documented their time with so many great photographs and videos. With trips to the beaches and parks, not once was I left wondering if my dogs were ok. There is no other person who can provide the amazing service and care like Noelle can. Mochi and Toto’s time with Noelle was a complete vacation for them! Thank you for giving our family a peace of mind and friendship.
Noelle is simply the best. She is the only dog sitter we use for our dog and he get so excited when he sees her. She sends videos and pictures through the day and he always looks so so happy. She’ll even bring dogs over to our house to play with Luka and it makes his day. We love Noelle!
Oliver stayed with Noelle for about a week while I was in Belize. She did an excellent job and Oliver came back even happier than when he left. He is a high energy breed and i worried about leaving him because of his energy, but noelle sent photos throughout his stay that made me feel at ease. Truly an incredible experience for him and for me as well.

Noelle went above and beyond. I was extremely nervous as this was the first time leaving our baby. I did a lot of research and felt discouraged until I came across Noelle. From the first phone call I felt a huge sense of comfort and love for what she does. We had a great chat, followed by a meet and greet. I appreciated that Noelle wasn’t just going to take our money - it was very clear that this had to feel good and right for our pup, us and her. Our pup stayed with Noelle for 3 and a half days. While we were away Noelle kept us updated with notes and pics to let us know how she was doing♥️ We felt comfortable knowing our pup was happy, safe and having the best time. To take our pup’s experience over the top - Noelle throw a birthday party for our pup as it was her 1st birthday during her stay. This is the beginning of a long amazing relationship for all of us, our pup can’t wait to go back to see Noelle and her furry friends!!! We LOVE Camp Bow Wow! Everyone is so friendly, we have no concerns about leaving our dogs in their care. Our dogs get so excited when we pull into the parking lot and come home exhausted from playing all day.

I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for boarding and day care. They offer half day and full day care. The friendliness of the employees is impeccable and they truly care about our fur baby. The cleanliness of the facility is amazing and the cameras in the play yards are an added bonus so you can check on how your pup is doing and interacting with the other dogs. They are so on top of everything, they email reminders about vaccines that will expiring, suggestions on bringing in your pet for day care prior to boarding to get them used to being there. I trust them 110% to care for my fur baby 🦴🐾

This place is literally amazing. Our puppy Saint Bernard Dixie absolutely loves going there. She's been going since she was about 4 1/2 months. Then unfortunately we had to board her for 16 days due to an emergency. They fit her in some how because it was President's week and the owners and staff are absolutely amazing. They go out of their way to help in any way they can. I don't know what I would do without them. They are angels and so are the staff. Can't wait to pick her up tomorrow!!!!!

We love Camp Bow Wow! Our dog has stayed with Camp Bow Wow Hicksville many times over the last few years, and we know that she's in amazing hands every time. It really eases our minds to know that we can watch her on a live feed for most of the day, and when we pay for extra enrichment services, we always get such wonderful pictures and videos texted to us.

I have been bringing my lab to Two by Four for 8 years. I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff is always very welcoming. This place is like heaven on earth! Melanie and the two by four staff are so caring for my pup Archie as if he is their own. He plays outside all day and gets to hang out with his friends and lounge by the pools. They have such high standards and I cannot recommend them and two by four enough!
If you are an animal lover do not go to this facility they took a dog that was going to be euthanized at home because of aggressive behavior and said that they would take him in and train him and find him a good home they lied about everything they are horrible irresponsible people and liars they gave false hope they disregarded what the prior owners told them on day one not to mention horrible communication during the process and your dog will get kennel cough then these supposed dog lovers abandoned this dog in the previous owners backyard without even a phone call without food or water. How inhumane!!!!!!I’
My pups love Two by Four. Both only do the staff and owners love animals they treat our dogs with love and tenderness! It’s so wonderful knowing that we are leaving our pups in great and safe hands
Two By Four New York is an exceptional business run by very special smart, caring people, I work long hours and would not be able to give my dog the care she deserves without 2x4. They make my life possible, so I am deeply grateful. No joke!
I was so excited to find such a wonderful place like Two by Four In Oyster Bay. I feel so much better my dog is not sitting at home alone all day or in a cage. I know my dog is safe and having fun. I have walked around the facilities where the dogs play. The large dogs are seperated from the smaller dogs with plenty of room to run and jump around. There is cover when it rains, heat when it’s cold and cool air and water to play in when it is hot. The play area is spotless and clean. They are always adding new and fun things for the dogs to play with. I am leaving my child with them and they treat him like he is part of the family. We tried the dog parks to socialize my dog. It actually made things worst. The owners use it as a social gathering and do not watch there dogs. People do not pick up after there dogs as well as you dont even know how healthy some of the dogs are. We stopped going because fights broke out and people didnt care what there dogs are doing. It is nice to be able to bring my dog to Two by Four which is a safe and clean environment where you know the dogs are happy. I boarded my dog for two weeks. Although he was excited to see us when we returned, he couldnt wait to go back the next day to see his friends and staff. The staff Dana and Alexa are like his mom away from home. The owner Melanie post pictures on facebook and instagram daily, so you can see how much fun they are having. She is always professional and available whenever I need to talk to her.When my family is in town, my daughter’s dog enjoy it as well. Two by Four is a great place to bring your dog for daycare or for boarding. My dog barks all the way to Two by Four because he is so excited to be there. Everyone in Oyster Bay can hear him while I am driving there. He is letting all his friends know he is going to Two by Four. I have been to other daycare centers in and out of NY, but I have not found one as good as Two by Four. My peace of mine is priceless!
We love two by four. After boarding our dog at several other places, we continually come back to 2x4. They are the only boarding house where my dog comes out fresh smelling and happy. I've had terrible experiences where he has come out smelling like urine or from all the others. The staff are friendly and care about your animal. Melanie is the best and always willing to help out. Highly recommended for your daycare and boarding needs. We drive almost 30 minutes just to get to them without a second thought
I want to say thank you to Two by Four. My dog sitter backed out on me last minute before vacation. They were able to accommodate me and my Frenchie for a 6 night stay on short notice. Clear and fast communication between the owner and I. I can never thank them enough. THANK YOU THANK YOU

Hounds Town is one of the best places to bring your dog for boarding or day care. They treated my boy Hobi (brown/white Beagle) like family while I was away for a week. Hobi looked so happy with the other dogs, and I know he was given lots of love while my family and I were away. There was an outbreak of Kennel Cough when he was there, but he was already vaccinated and caught a minor case of it. Overall, I love Hounds Town and I will definitely come again when I need to board Hobi or bring him to day care!
Our dog is considered one of the family so leaving him in a safe and trustworthy environment is of the utmost importance when go on vacation. Our dog (StanLee) is always excited to go to Hounds Town Garden City and the tell-tale sign he has a great time is he is exhausted when we pick him up. One nice personal touch that we get from Hounds Town Garden City is at they post pictures on their private Facebook page. We look forward to see him playing with his new canine friends. We typically see him playing and having a great time while burning some energy. However, we do see him up to some mischief with his hound friends (see the pictures below). We thoroughly enjoy the service we receive at Hounds Town Garden City and highly recommend them.
Great place that treats our four legged friends wonderful. They share photos of the dogs interacting with each other which lessens any stress about leaving them. I highly recommend them for day care or boarding.
Colleen, Lauren and the entire staff at Hounds Town do everything possible to make your dog feel at home, which allows families to have piece of mind when they're away. The facility is bright, clean and nicely decorated. They separate the dogs during playtime by size and take so many great pics of them together. When you're part of their FB group, you can see the photos of your fur baby having fun, which always brings a smile to your face. You have the option for an exit bath or spa treatment, which is great after a stay with lots of play. When our pup turned 2, we couldn't believe Hounds Town put up a sign, balloons, gave him a birthday crown and took pictures. How special!! The staff loves dogs and it's evident the minute you walk in the door and they see your fur baby. They are responsive, answer all of your questions and make you feel at ease. Many people in our town go to Hounds Town because of their incredible reputation. I highly recommended booking a stay or day care for your furry family friend! You can even schedule a 15 minute meet and greet prior to.
Staff are very welcoming to you and your dog. You know he is in safe hands and will be looked after. Sincere and kind o your dogs needs and to the owner. They have a excellent knowledge of a dog's behavior, which helps so much. Bailey loves going to play and knows he is safe, I know this too. They are exceptional! Best Ever!
Our baby beagles love going to hounds town twice a week! We love that they rotate the doggies so they have someone new to play with every so often. They get to go outside to get fresh air and sunshine. They are very tolerant of me calling on lunch to ask about my babies. Lastly we LOVE that they post pictures of the pups everyday so we know that they have a great time.
The employees here are truly amazing! They treat your dog as if they are their own and it means so much! My dog is pretty attached to me, but when he gets to daycare, he runs in and doesn’t look back! Because of Houndstown, he is great in social environments with other dogs! Colleen, Sarah, Lauryn and Erin (as well as all the staff) are so good to my boy. There’s no greater comfort than knowing he is good while his momma works! Mr. Cooper loves hanging out with all his friends. I can’t thank the staff at HT enough for providing such a special place for my guy!
This was the best doggy day care ever!! My 10 month old puppy Lilo had the time of her life and was exhausted! Workers were so kind and caring about the dogs! She was there for 9 hours and got a little report card when I came to pick her up.
I had to leave my dog with hounds town garden city for an extended time frame. The staff took such good care of my dog for the many weeks he was there. He came back to me beautiful and happy, Barney loves the staff at HTGC. The boarding and day care are great. The people that work there are kind and attentive. I will continue to bring my dog to them. I trust them with him very much. I did not have to worry at all about my dog while he was there, I knew he was in good hands! Best place .
I don’t have enough great things to say about HTGC and the staff there! Our American Bulldog, Scott has been attending Hounds Town for the last few months for daycare and boarding and has truly found a safe and loving place to spend his time. Scott entered Hounds Town a SUPER anxious and shy pup and has flourished into a confident, happy, and social dog. No words can describe how sweet, supportive, and PATIENT the staff have been to our sweet Scott. They go above and beyond to accommodate all of his needs no matter how big or small the request. Not only did they provide him with a safe space, they provided him with SO much love as well! All the staff has been responsive and fantastic with communication as well whenever we are away!!
My dogs couldn't have been happier. 4 nights, baths today, and staff were excellent with them. Happier than I should be. Thanks Hounds Town, we'll see you soon!
Our dog loves Hounds Town Hicksville, and so do we! The staff are amazing and truly care for the well being of the dogs, they quickly reply to any questions and post adorable pictures of the dogs! The on-site grooming and bath services are also super convenient. Whether it's for daycare, boarding or a party we know that Roxy will come home happy and tired. We are able to relax and enjoy vacation knowing that our dog is being well cared for and can't imagine having a dog without HT!
I'v got a 10 month old corgi named Carl and he absolutely LOVES Hounds Town Hicksville! I'm so glad we decided to bring him! He has made so many doggy friends and literally jumps out of the car when we get to the building. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and kind. They couldn't be more attentive to my pup and he loves every single one of them! They do super fun events for the dogs and I've always been super impressed with our experience! Highly recommend!
My pup Harley loves it here! Every time we arrive he skips inside and says hi to all the staff members. Every one is very nice and professional. I highly recommend Hounds Town Hicksville! The hours are also terrific.
I left our pup (for the first time) with Hounds Town, and was so pleasantly surprised every step of the way. When we got there, staff was considerate to make sure our pup Dottie was acclimation and placed with the same energy- level dogs. I called to check on her during the day, and was given an update with relevant details, and heard that she was having so much fun! When she was picked up, she was tired but sooo happy. Can't wait to bring her back again. Thanks!
Hounds Town was incredibly decent towards my two kitties. They took great care of them the few days they were there. The staff is professional as well as friendly. I knew they were in great hands. I’ll be sure to bring them here again in the future!
The entire staff is amazing at Hounds town. Someone is always available to answer any questions I had. My dog loves coming here, she runs in the door when we drop her off. They do such fun events with all the dogs. We truly love bringing her here for daycare. For boarding I feel comfortable leaving her with people that she knows and they know her.
My Mia will be 3 years old in May. She's a 4.5 lb yorkie that barks at all dogs. It's my fault for not socializing her when she was younger. I was told to try a day care so she could be exposed to other dogs. I visited 3 different places and wasn't pressed until I walked into Hounds Town in Bethpage. Place is clean and everyone I spoke to to was so nice and answered my questions and concerns. Yesterday was Mia's first day and she did well. When it was time to go, they brought her out and she started falling asleep before we left. I was told she played well and seemed to enjoy herself even though she was a little shy at first. Oh, and I received a Report Card with names of her new friends she made. I'm so happy I chose Hounds Town. Mia will go 1 to 2 times a week so she will learn to play and hopefully not bark like she did. Thank you! Mia and Linda
My dog gypsy goes here daily usually 5 days a week. He’s always super excited to go there and loves the whole staff and his doggie friends. They also take the best pictures when they have events!
Snozzy lives up to her name. She has so much fun. When she comes home, she sleeps all day and night. Doggy day camp must be fun.
