Cat Sitters in Loddon

Daisy has recently returned from one of her many stays with Hendrix Teal Dog Boarding over the past year. After the initial ‘sniffing session’ each time she is always very keen to get out of the car and eager to play- never worried about us leaving her. Col & Sara always look after her so well and we receive both picture and video updates during her stay. They also look for where they can train her whilst she is with them and offer their advice and tips. Daisy is always shattered when we collect her, something rarely achieved with a working sprocker! There really isn’t anyone else we would trust even half as much to look after Daisy when we go away and we can not recommend them highly enough.

We LOVE Hendrix Teal Dog Boarding. I almost don’t want to leave a review as they’re so good you want to keep them all to yourself. We have a 3yr old corgi who is either fairly chill or an absolute lunatic & he loved his stay here. Col and Sara are so friendly, so knowledgeable & utterly brilliant with dogs. We are very particular with our dog - what dog owner isn’t - & we trust these guys implicitly. Will happily use them again & again & again. The updates are fantastic and our dog was not fussed when we came to pick him up, he’d probably still happily be hogging the sofa if he could. Thank you so, so much for the love, care and attention you gave our dog.

We left our next puppy at Hendrix Teal when we visited Norfolk for a wedding. We were a little apprehensive as we hadn’t left her with anybody before, but Col & Sara did a great job of putting us at ease. They have a great space for it and the other couple of dogs they had looked really happy. They shared photos and videos of my puppy throughout her stay and she looked to be having a great time. I’ll definitely use them again when in the area!

Our greyhound has just had a wonderful stay at Hendrix Teal. We couldn’t be happier leaving him, knowing he is in a lovely environment with equally as lovely people who care so much about dogs. We are just so happy knowing we’ve found a safe space for our beautiful boy where he’ll have a fuss made of him and we get regular updates of his adventures.

We picked Luna up yesterday after her 10 day holiday with Sara and Col. She is like a completely different puppy, she is SO confident, walking nicely on a lead, not glued to our sides, she even wanted to play with a couple of dogs that were over the field. They didn’t want to play with her but she wanted to play with them and wasn’t scared of them like she normally is. It’s lovely. Thank you so much. Staying with you has helped her come out of her shell 🥰.

Sara and Col are such an incredible duo. So knowledgeable and caring. They put the dogs in their care as their number 1 priority and always ensure that the client leaves safe with the knowledge that their dog will have the best time! The fact that they run their business in the memory of their recently passed dogs is so heartwarming, and shows the amount of authenticity around their practices. We would have no hesitation in recommending Hendrix Teal and no hesitation in using their boarding services again. Rocky had a fantastic time, and Sara and Col kept in touch throughout his stay. Sara & Col couldn’t do enough to ensure that Rocky’s stay was fun, so much so that Rocky is sulking now he is back home! Thanks once again, we hope to see you soon.

Colin and Sarah were amazing and I would highly recommend them! They had our vizsla for the weekend and she had the time of her life! We were kept updated with lots of videos of her happy and playing and our on long walks and they spend time with the dogs in the evening so it’s a real home environment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and we will definitely book again, you can tell how much Sarah and Colin really love and pay attention to the dogs in their care.

Izzy our cavapoo has just come back from her first proper stay at Hendrix teal boarding. Sara and Colin put our minds completely at ease for her stay with them. They kept us updated with regular photos and videos which meant we could relax on holiday knowing she was being taken care of in an environment similar to home. I can see from the photos that Izzy made herself at home there. Izzy will definitely be returning for a stay for our next trip away.

Hendrix Teal cared for our 2yr old labrador extremely well for a week. They were very responsive to messages and sent daily pup updates which not only put my mind at ease but showed what a fantastic time he was having with them! I would unreservedly recommend them to everyone and will be using them again in the future.

We were looking for a trusted pet boarding place for our nervous dog Pixie and we were so happy when we fund Mutlins because it was exactly what we needed: a family business that cared for the dogs and looked after them as if they were their own. They also don't take too many dogs at once which was reassuring because our dog is nervous would feel overwhelmed with so many other dogs around. Sarah and her team looked after Pixie so well that welt her stay there again. Thank you Sarah and team!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Sarah and the team at Mutlins Luxury Dog Boarding for taking such excellent care of our border collie on very short notice. Sarah kindly accommodated us for a trial night and then a two-week holiday, making sure our fur baby was in good hands while we were away. She was always responsive, friendly, and incredibly kind throughout the entire process. Our dog had a fantastic time with Sarah, Georgie, and their wonderful assistant and groomer (my apologies for not catching her name). As a border collie, he needs plenty of exercise, and he certainly got that and more at Mutlins. He was well looked after, and it was clear he was treated like a member of their family. Looking after other people's dogs is no easy task—it's stressful, tiring, and comes with great responsibility. I am so thankful to Mutlins for offering such a high level of care, allowing me to take an urgent trip without any worries about our dog.

I have known Sarah for many years, I have seen first hand how well she looks after her dogs and other dogs she looks after. Her care is second to none, and I would have no problems with Mutlins looking after my dogs. Ignore the spiteful, fake and negative reviews, they simply aren't true. She looks after the dogs to a very high standard.

Don't usually give reviews, but Sarah's Mutlins Boarding bailed me out last year and returned many times. I had to return offshore early and the usual family members who would look after my dogs were on holiday. Viewed local kennels, and wasn't happy that they used the standard outside kennel runs and knew my dogs would get stressed being in that environment. A mate recommended Mutlins telling me Sarah keeps and sleeps the boarding dogs in her house, I reassured Sarah my dogs are house trained and do the Do!! outside and wouldn't chew things either. On my return, Sarah told me the dogs settled into the new environment and behaved well. Sarah sent me daily pictures and videos and when I lost my mobile signal she went out of her way, to email me pics and vids, which put me at ease. I've used Mutlins three more times in 2022 and am now booked in at end of the month. Recommend Sarah's hard work and dedication to her dogs and borders to friends and family and they all agreed and thanked me for that. 11 out of 10

I needed somewhere for my jack russell Chelsea to stay while on a work trip. I was really impressed by all that Mutlins had to offer and my dog was at home with Sarah and all of the team. Would definitely use Mutlins again and I know Chelsea would love to return. Thank you again!

I don’t normally like to give bad reviews but I want other people to be informed about this service. I boarded my 3 dogs there a couple of weeks ago and did not have a good experience. To be fair they took the dogs in at short notice but the whole experience was awful They say on their website that they are not kennels- yet there are kennels attached to the house.This is very noisy and inside the house there was quite a few dogs (over 6) with crates lining one wall. Amiee has been lovely but from the moment I arrived I found Sarah to be hostile and not welcoming at all. No updates were given or photos sent- I had to message them each day to see how things were going and only received negative comments back. My dogs were apparently howling a lot and kept them awake at night and I apologised for this and felt awful. The noise levels outside would not have helped and they did not cope well in the environment at all. When I got back to London Marleys medications were still in the sealed envelope I had given them- he had not been given one dose- despite me filling in their very detailed online booking form with all instructions for each dog. Luckily it wasnt medication for a serious health condition. I also noticed that one of the vaccination records was missing- I called and was told this would be posted to me. It never arrived - so I rang Sarah to ask about this and she really couldn’t care less- said ‘can’t you get your vet to print one out, it’s quite simple’- in a really condescending manner. They say they are 5 stars and had a recent inspection but the customer service is not 5 star at all. I would never use them ever again.

Sarah was very friendly and helpful, even with the extra day requested. Wilma ( our dog ) was very happy when dropped her off and when we collected her. I would highly recommend mutlins.

My beautiful Honey who spent a wonderful first weekend at Mutlins where the staff were so kind and understanding of her nervousness and anxieties and despite being frightened of men, she snuggled up to George on the sofa - a huge stride forward for her 🥰 I certainly intend to use Mutlins in the future, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Honey tells me she is “no mates” and sulked 🤣🤣🤣 Bless her she obviously enjoyed herself 🎉 Michelle 😘🤗🐕

Both our dogs stayed with Sarah, Aimee and their amazing team for the first time these past 2.5 weeks. They immediately helped us out last minute when we had to go on a business trip abroad. We cannot mention often enough what great care, lots of love & pampering our dogs received from them during this period. Daily updates (photos and videos) were sent to us with written notes. Sarah, Aimee & team are most helpful, very pleasant, and also very knowledgeable. This is for us the only boarding hotel to bring our dogs to from now on, for sure!! We can strongly recommend this luxury dog boarding hotel to whoever looks for a safe and loving place for their pets. ❤️

I would like to start this review by dispelling any assertion that I am a personal friend of Sarah. I am not and I have only lived in Norfolk for a few months. Having moved here and in starting a new job I found myself in need of doggy day care something I had up to now avoided on account of a horrendous experience when our dog was 6 months old and at his first and only day at doggy day care in Kent they lost him (thankfully he was found after a terrifying few hours). I was absolutely not going to leave our dog with anyone but on meeting Sarah and seeing how much she loved and cared for her own dogs I had a good feeling that our dog would be in safe hands and I have absolutely not been disappointed. He has been several times (days and nights) over the past few months and is always super excited to get inside when we arrive greeting Sarah with so much love and affection. Yes her dogs bark when a car pulls up but they soon go quiet and they certainly have not barked continuously when I have been there. Sarah does have large pens which I assume her overnighting dogs stay in but they are ample size even for a large dog and reassure me that our dog is safe from harm or mischief at night. The garden is large and safe and our dog loves that freedom of being able to go inside and out. I have seen Sarah first hand looking after one of her breeding dogs as she had her puppies and she reminded me of my amazing midwife when I was having my son, I simply can’t believe someone would say what they have about her dogs with absolutely nothing to back up such slanderous statements. I would also like to comment on the word luxury, if you want bells and whistles with agility courses and gold plated bowls then maybe you will be disappointed but for me luxury is the fact that for our dog gets the same love, care, cuddles and attention as he does at home. He is safe and not with crowds of other dogs and I trust Sarah. I simply wouldn’t send him anywhere else.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Anna and her team for looking after our boys. I cannot recommend them enough from regular dog walks to the home sitting service. Nicola looked after both my dogs and my cat for two weeks when we were on our holiday and we came home to happy pets and the house was cleaner than we left it. 5 stars is not enough

I have had my rescue cats 10 years and given up going away for any longer than 36 hours. Anna and her team changed this for us. We have just enjoyed 5 days away with our son and felt totally relaxed knowing Elisa, who is so calm and gentle, was looking after them brilliantly, sending us videos and making friends with both of them. Elisa even made friends with the really nervous one from day 1 ! Outstanding service, has changed our lives. We can now look forward to going places, knowing they will be so well cared for. We love & trust Anna and her team at We Love Pets. Our two spaniels adore their walks, and the team have always been there to support us when we’ve needed some extra sessions or a drop in. Great communications as a company, we particularly love the WhatsApp videos every walk!

Anna and her team have always been reliable, friendly and accommodating with our spaniel. He loves his regular walks with them and his doggy buddies. We highly recommend them!!

I’ve been using Anna and her team for dog walks for a few months now and the service provided has been excellent . I can tell how good they all are as my boy is soo excited when he sees any of the team I have to drag him away! If you see them out, all of the dogs are happy and are having fun and the team are so friendly and accommodating, I highly recommend them.

A massive thank you to Anna and her team for the patience and care they provided our cats with while we were away. We were very skeptical having never had to use a service like this but would use these guys again without question. I felt so comfortable with them, knowing my two were okay and the house was safe. We have one very shy timid girl and the love they showed her was second to none. Getting photos and videos too was just amazing. I swear the house was cleaner when we came back 😌 thank you guys. We would not have been able to go away on our adventure of a lifetime if it wasn’t for you! X

Tracy and her husband took care of my cat for 5 days, and he absolutely loved them! He normally doesn’t like strangers, but he seemed to warm up to Tracy from the first day, and he was very happy to see her every day! It definitely allowed me to relax knowing he was being taken care with such great care!

Tracy looked after my cat and rabbits while we were away for 10 days. It was not ideal timing because we had builders there while we were away and my cat is very wary of strangers at the best of times. Although Tracy didn’t see my cat every day she reassured me that he had been coming in for food every night. She also did a brilliant temporary repair job for me when one of my rabbit homes developed a hole in the bottom of it. She kept in regular contact and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

We have two female cats with very different personalities and like any pet owner, we are anxious that they are fed, watered and cared for while we are away. This was the first time that we have used Maccy G Pets service and we can report that we are very happy with the service. Tracy visited us to meet our cats before we travelled which was a nice touch. Tracy kept us updated with daily videos of her interactions with the cats and when we returned all was well with them and our home. Thank you for the care. We would happily recommend their service.

We could not be happier with the service provided at such short notice. Our two elderly cats absolutely love Tracy. Sadie, our eldest at 18 with failing kidneys is a hard nut to crack and very hard to please but the daily photos showed us that she was very happy in Tracy's company, along with Jinx, who has suffered with separation anxiety previously. She took the time to come and visit and introduce herself to the cats prior to starting to care for them. We have booked again as they have been so well looked after.

Having Tracy to look after our Maine Coon kittens for a week meant that we could go on holiday without worrying about them. We had daily video updates to show all the strokes and attention they were getting! And they were bright eyed and bushy tailed happy kitties when we got home :) We would recommend Maccy G Pets without hesitation!

It was the first time we used Maccy G and they were fantastic We went away for a week and Diane was absolutely wonderful. Our cat Archie is very shy but Diane was so patient and managed to help him overcome his shyness and I could see from the photos she sent that he looked so happy and content. It took away all our worries about leaving him. They are wonderful and we will always ask them to look after Archie when we go away. We really would recommend them. 😀

Tracy is a very experienced and trustworthy person who has a real gift/talent in looking after pets. Everything from pre-visit to regular updates whilst on holiday was brilliant. The pets were extremely well cared for and we didn’t have to worry at all whilst away. We would highly recommend this pet sitting service.

We booked Tracey to come twice a day for 5 days, to feed our 2 cats, while we were away. She came to visit before hand and meet them, the paperwork was quick and easy to complete and as she'd already looked after other family member's pets, we didn't have any concerns about the care she'd provide. She wanted to keep their routines as similar to normal as possible and was happy to spend time with them on her visits, brush them, play with them etc. Turns out, as our cats are total wimps, they didn't want to spend much time getting to know her, but Tracey made sure we knew they were safe by contacting us with photos or video of them when she popped in. Although this is her business and it would potentially reduce her profit, Tracey offered to cut back from two to one visit per day, due the cats having access to inside and outside space and eating dried food. We did take her up on this and saved ourselves a few pounds - thanks Tracey. Our cats, Percy and Archie, would not have coped well in a cattery, so this was a great option. Although they were probably a little miffed with us going away, they were both fed and watered and happy to see us in our return. Photo of Archie who was pretty illusive while we were away.

Had a fabulous experience with Tracy looking after my two turtles. You can tell she cares greatly about keeping animals safe, happy and healthy and wants to learn about their personalities. I felt super comfortable leaving my turtles in her care, she sent me daily updates with photos which really put my mind at ease while I was away! 💚 Cheap and friendly service that I will be using again!

Michelle is the best dog boarder. Our Romanian rescue Kayla is very happy to be part of her pack. Michelle and her dogs are very welcoming, and puts you at ease straight away. She really understands dogs and is a very good judge of their character and how they will fit in. The dogs are loved and fussed and she really offers a home from home experience. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!! Thanks Michelle, and her family, for making a very nervous rescue, and her mum, extremely happy.

We recently left our Spaniel Willow with Cranford Dog Care whilst we went on holiday for 6 nights. It can be scary leaving your pets in someone else's care, but there is no one else I have more confidence in than Michelle. Her communication throughout the holiday, letting us know how Willow was, sending us pictures was fantastic. I had all the faith in the world that Willow was in the best hands and care possible. Cranford Dog Care offer a super clean, (I don't know how she has such a clean house as a home boarder!!) warm home from home holiday for your pups while you go away. It meant we could totally relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying about Willow! Could recommend enough!

We absolutely love Cranford Dog Care. Michelle is so welcoming. We honestly don’t worry when we leave our boy in their care. It’s a holiday for him too. We receive regular updates of his progress. I know he’s cared for like he’s one of their own. He never looks back at drop off - and always a quick hello at collection! That’s a true sign of his contentment at Cranford. Can’t recommend enough.

So pleased to have found Michelle. Fantastic dog lady, very caring and knowledgeable. My Romanian rescue dog and old llhaso Apso had a wonderful trial break overnight and I am so happy. They were also loved and guided by Michelle's own two lovely dogs.

Couldn't have been happier with home to home care. My two cockapoos Angel and Rosie were so well looked after, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michelle.

Our Gemma loved being with Michelle she has her own little holidays and we don’t have to worry about her .

Not happy with the customer service we received during the covid outbreak I’m afraid. Our deposit was kept despite the circumstances which obviously was totally out of our control. As a self employed person I understand the financial implications for a business but passing the bill onto customers who are already losing out is just bad taste. Also, the dogs were scheduled to go to a couple who they had never met before (this was our second time using barking mad) despite being told during the registration meeting that they would go to the same people each time. A little disappointing as very pricey too.

I have always been really pleased with the service that I have got with Barking Mad our dog is always well cared for, we have never been let down by them I would recommend them to anyone, I could not put my boys in a kennel so it is perfect they get a holiday and we do not have to worry. When I get my older boys stuff ready to go he is at the window waiting then when they arrive he lets us know and can't get to the car fast enough. Thank you Barking Mad for making it easy for us. Our boy has been twice now and seemed like he had a great time, in fact he wanted to get back in the car for more. He clearly has taken to his host Dave and Caroline, so will definitely be sending him again very soon.
