Tammy & Chris are a delightful couple living in a peaceful, serene hamlet. Zeus the dog is one of the most friendly, well-behaved dogs we’ve ever met and is an absolute pleasure to care for during our sit. We loved the walks In Sussex countrysIde. We had a great time at Tara & David's (and Baloo's and Buckley's) in Alresford. The location is very easy to get to by train, either direct or a simple change of trains/busses. Tara was very helpful in providing directions from London, which was appreciated by these slightly overwhelmed Canadians. She was a great overall communicator, and upon arrival, treated us like friendly guests and was very amiable. I appreciated the detailed house-guide she left behind for reference, after spending a night going over dog and house things before she left the next day. Baloo and Buckley are both very affectionate and well-behaved, and we had fun walking them in the nearby woods and meadow, and playing with various balls in the yard. They are intelligent and sweet dogs, and very easy to care for, with a dog flap so they can go inside/outside throughout the day as they see fit. The house is beautiful, the love that Tara and David have put into renovating their old farmhouse is clear, and it's a comfortable, lived in space with ample cooking implements and lots of space to feel at home, spread out a bit in, enjoy the garden, patio, pool, pizza oven... an easy 5-star review. I would highly recommend this sit.
Coco and Mana were sweet dogs and communication with Jaklin & Ahmad was easy. Main responsibilities were feeding the dogs once a day and 2 walks a day. They are in a great neighborhood in Pflugerville, close to lovely green spaces.
Karen was very welcoming, as was the adorable Nemo. I had a very comfortable stay and Devizes is delightful, with the Avon and Kennet canal a few minutes walk away. Nemo is a fabulous dog, very placid and sociable and lives for his ball games. He was a great companion and I miss him. I would highly recommend this sit.
During July-August we spent a lovely time looking after the energetic and fun Tillie. She is gorgeous, friendly, kind and loves her walkies, her food and her swims in the canal. Karolina & Tim were very kind and invited us to come for a delicious dinner in their home, so that we could chat and meet in person before the sit. We really appreciated the opportunity and enjoyed their kindness. Their home is beautiful, situated in a very trendy part of CPH and it lies by the water so there is always a nice "flow" of happenings around.
